The girl on the phone was very sweet, and happened to have an 8 AM appointment on 3/5 with a FEMALE PROVIDER (I specifically asked for) which worked perfectly for me. I didn't have my insurance information on hand at the time of the phone call, but she assured me to call back later with the information and it was no problem. I went to work and called back on my lunch break only to speak to a different employee who let me know there had been no appointment scheduled for me. I explained to her I had already talked to someone that morning, but she was dismissive and didn't try to accomodate their scheduling error in the slightest. I was then forced to schedule over a week out, which brings us to today's appointment 3/12. I was told on the phone my appointment was scheduled for 8:00, and to arrive at 7:30 to fill out new patient paperwork. I arrive at 7:30 this morning only to find out nobody was in the office until 8. I still waited until then, and filled out my paperwork. By 8:40 I asked the receptionist when I would be seeing the doctor. She stated my appointment was scheduled for 9:30, but "he" was running early so they would be taking me back early. I specifically requested a FEMALE provider numerous times when making the appointment. And was told my appointment was at 8 AM! How can you provide an incorrect time, and ignore provider preference? Since this office can't seem to schedule patients correctly or relay correct appointment information I decided I was no longer comfortable with them and had to leave. She had a severe toncil infection that requried the "ON-CALL" EAR NOSE AND THROAT SPECIALIST TO BE CALLED IN for a consultation.They called Dr. Morris Balfour. This guy never bothered to get into a doctors coat. He looked descheveled. His first interaction with us was rolling his eyes and saying my wife was on medi-cal and medicare.When he was corrected that we were on private insurance, he only got more rude. He then told us he was going to do a procedure that was required a local anthestic. I then interrupted him, and told him that he can not use that anthestic, becuase my wife will stop breathing (and will require an epi pen). He then literally got angry that he had to perform an emergency toncillectomy, becuase my wife was sick. My wife was taken into surgery, and the doctor told us he would meet us afterward in the surgery waiting room. Immediately upon entering the waiting room, my 11 year old daughter and i were told that we had to leave since my daughter was not 16 years old. We were told to come back in an hour, and that they would have the doctor call me if they finished before we came back to see my wife to her room. That call never came. We met my wife in recovery, and then we were promptly kicked out of Lodi Memorial Hospital again.They told us to be there at 7am so my wife can be sent home by 830am the following morning. We arrive at 7am, and then we waited around for 4 hours for Dr. Balfour. . He arrived at 11am and was rude, condescending, and a jerk to me and my wife all over again. He told me that he came to the surgical waiting room, that he didn't see us, so he left. I asked him why he didn't call us...he responded, "It was late and I wanted to get home," It was at this point that I had to control myself extensively. I was excited to never have to see this jerk again, and we could be on our way. Little did I know that was not the case. At 4pm, We got to the pharmacy to pick up the prescriptions to find that the anti-biotics are the most expensive one they carry. $400 for one prescription. So I called them doctors office to have someone contact him to get him to write a different prescription. At 5pm, He called me back at my number and asked me what was wrong, and I told him that $400 for an anti-biotic is crazy, can he please prescribe a cheaper anti-biotic? He agreed and asked what pharmacy we use. I told him the pharmacy and the location. He then got short with me and demanded that I find him the phone number. I again, bit my tongue and I pulled the number off my cell phone from google. I gave him the number and he told me it would be taken care of. At 10pm, I went back to the pharmacy. There was no prescription there except the $400 one. I said there must be a mistake. They had no prescription. I then called then office for the doctor, and they connected me to the Doctor again. This time he started yelling at me saying, "YOU DONT HAVE THE PRESCRIPTION BECAUSE YOU GAVE ME THE WRONG NUMBER. I HAD TO LOOK UP THE NUMBER MYSELF, AND I SPOKE WITH THE PHARMACIST." I asked him whom he had spoken with? What pharamcy? What location? What number did her call? Dr. Morris then yelled, "DO YOU REALIZE WHAT TIME IT IS?" I asked him, "You are ***king kidding me, right? Who do you think you are to treat people this way? Who do you think you are to treat a patient this way? Could you not have easily just picked up the phone and called me if there was a problem with number I gave you, or with getting us the prescription within a timely manner? I write this in hopes that someone who is looking to get treatment at this place will consider it…read moreseriously before spending any time or money here. After looking at their website, along with many others, I ended up booking a consultation for Halo, as I was looking to treat acne scars. The info they had online was promising, including a description to "target your skin concerns on multiple levels to improve skin texture and clarity, improve visible signs of skin aging (fine lines and wrinkles), discoloration, the appearance of pores, acne scars, and even help delay or eliminate the need for surgical procedures". This, and after looking at their before and after image for results, I was sold. During the $100 consultation, I was told that Halo was not appropriate for my scarring as it did not go deep enough and was used to very superficial damage. Of course, it doesn't say that on the website, and they ended up pushing me to do another treatment, microneedling. And when I say they push, I mean the woman whom I was assigned to. She did not give good details, did not provide a treatment plan, not even before and after pictures of really what to expect. She did, however, was very throughout on the pricing. I decided to give it a try based on her recommendation- I mean, it is supposed to be a professional treatment that would improve my condition even if it is not what I originally wanted. I had three sessions, as recommended, and they all were different in terms of preparation. They had these young students who are there just to meet their hour requirements, and they go where they really want to work. So, prep and follow up was very inconsistent. After the last treatment, which was very rushed, there was no work from them about follow up, maybe another treatment plan, or even products to use long term- just nothing. I guess she must have made her buck already. So it has been over three months and, unfortunately, there has been no improvement overall on my skin. It was more sensitive and worse off. It did not look like anything had been done- it looked blotchy and reddish. So, No- don't trust this place when they try to direct you to their treatments. If you are coming through a doctor's referral and covered by insurance, then they may be more willing to get you the best results. Still, I'd be cautious about it.

The office is super clean and very pleasant, the receptionists are very friendly and the process from check in to a room very efficient. Dr. No is friendly and personable, but not chatty.
