The next day, I arrived at 4:00 PM as scheduled, only to find around 10 people waiting. At first, someone came out and told us the piercer would be out soon. At 4:13, the piercer finally came out and said he needed to check his books because apparently there was no appointment under my name. He then told us he still had another piercing to do and was already about 10 minutes behind schedule. It's extremely frustrating to make an appointment ahead of time, show up on time, and then find out that the shop either failed to record the appointment or failed to communicate properly. I understand that things can run behind, but this was not just a normal delay -- my appointment was apparently never even put in the books. By around 4:20, I had already been waiting well past my appointment time for something that should have been organized beforehand. I don't have time to sit around waiting because of a scheduling mistake that wasn't mine. Definitely not the experience I expected, and I hope they improve their communication and time management.
