I seen this place from I80, looking for something new ink and a new place, however I came over to take a look and see what this place had to offer, but no one was here. I came at 1pm as there hours show online but no one was here. was hoping to see what they had to offer, seen pics and IG photos and the ink work looks sick. Will Veile: Will has been my artist for over 5 years and I'm never disappointed in his work. I follow him to every shop he goes to and have zero intentions of seeing anyone else. Even when I lived in the bay area, and the commute in traffic took 4+ hours to get to him... I still would only see him and the drive was 100% worth it. I have even gotten into the habit of just forgetting to look at what he has drawn on me before he starts tattooing... though I'm sure that sounds effing crazy, that's just the level of trust I have with him. I know that he will turn my basic concept into something amazing! I refer all of my friends and family to him and every single one of them has left with a new and amazing piece of art on their body and they always go back for more. My little sister got her first tattoo by Will and now all of her tattoos are done by him (back piece, full arm sleeve, flash pieces, etc). At this point he has completely sleeved my right arm (color), sleeved my left leg from the knee down (color; was featured on the Chive for being amazing and won awards at tattoo conventions), large sternum/under boob piece (color), my right kneecap (color), my right foot (primarily black and grey with some color pop), a fun flash piece on my right thigh (color), script on the back of my neck (black), and we are in the process of sleeving my left arm (color). After we finish my left arm I have plenty of other pieces I want and Will is the artist I will be going to. The shop is chill af, it's super easy to get to, and the location is cozy and convenient. Everyone who works at Crimson Needle is way awesome and it just makes the whole experience incredible. He's amazing at what he does and is just a really awesome guy in general. Chris did an excellent job. I came to sacred owl after he moved to this shop. He exceeded my expectations to say the least. Brandon is very professional and an incredible artist, but for the love of god DO NOT GO TO ROB. Had a horrible experience, he was incredibly unprofessional and ended up waiting 5 hours with no one ahead of us just to be tattooed by him. He was freaking out while tattooing my friend and was raging, literally yelling. He doesn't seem to genuinely care about anyone's tattoo, and it was disappointing that he was so rude to us after we had waited so long. He doesn't really ask you what you really want or try to give you an idea of how it will look, let alone answer your questions about it. Rob's tattoos were ridiculously expensive, especially with the preventable wait, and how we were treated. Brandon and the front desk service were great, his tattoos are great, and they will definitely make sure you are as comfortable as you can be with getting your tattoo. I wish I remembered the woman at the front desk's name but she was an incredible help with the situation. Had we chose to wait for Brandon's art instead it could have been a much better experience. Brandon is a 5 star artist for sure, but Jesus do not go to Rob. read more
