We saw Marlot for a few tattoos. Mine was my husband's handwriting on a 2" area on my inner forearm. My husband also got the mountains and coordinates of where we were married and she had great suggestions on placement and size. Her studio was chill, clean and had a lavender-scented spa feel. She was kind, personable and very attentive to what we were looking for. The price was beyond reasonable, and beat out many other quotes. The lines are amazing on the fine print. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I looked for months at hundreds of tattoos and tattoo artists trying to find a perfect fit for a new tattoo that had special meaning to me. I found Hard Times Tattoo Gallery in Auburn and one of their talented artists, Marlo. I sent Marlo some examples I had of my tattoo idea. Then she listened to my descriptions of what I wanted and what it meant to me. Marlo then created a unique and perfect tattoo just for me. The shop is clean and cozy and easy to get to. I remembered that Tyler told me that Selena is the piercer that works here. So as I headed out for the day, I stopped in to say hi to everyone. I got to say hello to Tyler and officially meet Selena! Everyone was kicked back and it was so chill in there. Great vibe! I wanted to give them a little business, so I purchased a new nose ring and tongue ring. She pulled out the jewelery and after selecting what I wanted, she sanitized the chair and jewelry. Brought me in and started pushing the jewelery into my nose. After being out for a few days, it needed to be pierced again. OUCH! Selena had to grab the piercing needle (I forgot the word she used for it) and push it through. Then, she had to push the jewelery through. It was rougher this time because I had scar tissue in there. She also put my tongue ring in for me and made sure it was on there nice and tight. She took good care of me, spayed my nose with saline to keep the area clean. I really love the vibe when I walk in here. Am I weird or is there something soothing about the sound of the tattoo gun working? I'm looking forward to when I am ready to get my next piercing because I will be coming back here to see Selena!

I went with some friends to do the $50 tattoo day. Unknown to us 3 of us got apprenticeship artists. While usually thats not a big deal but we didnt know they were apprentice before they started. I get it everyone needs to start somewhere i just wish we were informed before so we knew what to expect. One of the tattoos got infected and the color faded out, one of the tattoos wasn't finished and the lettering wasn't filled in fully nor the boarded completed, and another tattoo part of the image was tattooed upside down. I wont be going back unfortunately because all the issues with my groups tattoos. Only real positive i have is the artists were nice and friendly. read more

I went in today and yesterday for the Friday the 13th flash sale and all of the artists were absolutely amazing, so kind and accommodating. I received one tattoo from Wade and two from Moss. Both of them were absolutely spectacular and dedicated to their crafts staying as late as 2-3 am to finish some of their walk in clients. If I could give it zero stars, I would. You can tell the environment is toxic and uninviting and there's this one artist that openly talks about their sex life without consideration for the comfort of other people. I don't recommend coming here and you'll find better artists anywhere else. Plus I heard the owner treats their employees like shit. read more

I got a peice from Marlo and I was so impressed with how it turned out! For never meeting prior to my appointment either we got along so good and it was great to be able to have a good conversation instead of feeling like total strangers! The atmosphere of the shop was also very comfortable and chill. read more

I got a piece done by Marlo and I couldn't be happier! She put so much detail and did a great job bringing my vision to life! I got a tattoo on my sternum and she was so light handed I barely felt a thing, yet it came out amazing! I definitely recommend this shop! read more
