DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE! A little kiosk located on the first floor near macy's. Took my baby to get her ears pierced and the lady did a horrible job. We should've known that if she could not even mark our baby's earlobes evenly when she wasn't moving then there is no way she could do a proper ear pierce. My heart broke when she pulled off the gun and the earring was hanging on the side of my baby's ear. All they care about is selling their products (most of which are poor quality) and do not give a damn about the piercing portion. I love visiting when Tiffany is on. She engages your customers in a way that allows "them", to include myself, to let down their guard and really shop. Not necessarily to buy whats on sale because she communicates the value, availability, and opportunity to have what really appeals to you. Ive been in sales from high end cookware, retail, pg&e energy efficiency for homes, insurance, etc. In my opinion, as a customer, what makes her stand apart is her ability to shop with you. It doesnt feel like rehearsed Key Performance Indicators. She didnt deal with your customers repetively. I saw sincerity and assurity come across from her to the customer. I don't know how to write this, but let me just tell you the lady at this booth has bad customer service!! You'll see her bad vibe once you look at her and talk to her! I bought my necklace at this booth years ago and I'm happy she wasn't the one helping me. I came back to get some earnings for my daughter and there was two people there one was the younger girl & the other ones was that sour a** lady. Came back today because my daughters earring came out so why not come back to the same booth right... So we go & GREAT it's the SAME lady! LMAO as we get to the booth she's not done putting out the jewelry. So we look and my man asks her where the children's jewelry is at & I tell my man it's right here don't even ask lol. But she replies and says I'm not done putting out the jewelry please give me a minute we open at 11. So my man was like NO PROBLEM TAKE YOUR TIME... & it was 10:58 AM we stand by and 2 other people come up. Then she tells us oh please come back at 11:30 because the other girl called in sick.. lmao I'm sorry lady that's not my problem... I just wanted the earrings that were already out!!? How hard is it to help a customer?? I get we all have bad days but seriously!!! It's a medium size, island shop near Macy's. It's been there forever and they also do piercings, although I've seen anyone actually getting their ears pierced here. I didn't spend much time browning because I knew exactly what I was looking for. They had no other clients waiting so the girl came to me right away and she was very helpful. I was only going to buy one small knuckle ring but like the good salesperson that she was, she brought up their sale for buy one, get second half off and so I bought another one. I saw a bracelet online that is currently 40% off and if I wanted I would be able to buy online and pick up in store. I went in to see the quality in person before purchasing, thinking I could still use the 40% off (probably Black Friday promo) but I guess not. Sales lady initially told me only a manager can process promotions( + Something about inventory just coming in) so I left to check out a different store. She advised that I can try a different branch but when I checked online the bracelet I wanted is ready for pick up at this location so I went back to show her. She then proceeded to tell me that they don't have the said bracelet and so I asked for her manager's information in hopes they can help me process the transaction for next time but then she told me this certain location doesn't have managers or district managers.. all of a sudden. So then I told her I would just buy the bracelet online and pick up here but then she told me that her iPad is not working to fill out the "paper work" to pick up a paid item(? Honestly sounds like a flat out lie) so she advised me to go to a different branch unless I would be willing to pay full price in store. She can't process a pick up but she can process card payments if you pay full price. Sounds like a scam, made me doubt the quality of jewelry they sell. Don't recommend coming here. read more

Pretty pathetic service and racist service. I went to pagoda with my 3 year old daughter last monday 23rd Aug, we had got her ear piercing 2 months back at Pagoda. I was repenting why I had got her pierced at Pagoda. The lady at Pagoda was pretty racist and when i reached the mall I could not see the name Pagoda and saw Banter and asked her can you tell me where Pagoda is, she told me I dont know and made me walk to the other end of the mall and there I checked with a security gentleman who walked with me to the same store. I told her that my daughter had dropped on of her ear ring and also one ear was not pierced properly. She didnt even talk to ma straight and said come after a month or maybe after a week. read more

If you want cheap and quick piercings, come here! They don't do specialty piercings, just normal ones, like on the earlobe and cartilage. My friend and I were on a mission to get our ears pierced. She wanted her tragus pierced and I wanted to repierce my closed holes and add on another pair of piercings. We came to Pagoda first but unfortunately they didn't do tragus piercings, only piercing parlors do that. The girl who was working was also pretty rude to us. She was so emotionless and didn't even seem to care. So I didn't want to get it without my friend and we headed to Simms Ink. I was super intimidated by the place because...well, most piercing and tattoo parlors look kinda sketch. Haha. The ladies there were really nice but I didn't end up piercing my ears there (it was also more than double the price of Pagoda for me). My friend did get her tragus though. She then forced me to come back to Pagoda and get my ears pierced. I was really nervous but I finally went through with it! It was quick and a little painful but I have a low tolerance for pain and I'm scared of needles/sharp objects, so take my word with a grain of salt. The same girl who was rude earlier ended up helping us again. When we approached her, she was more excited this time and even recognized us. She was friendly during the process, although it was a little rushed because she had another customer. I'm still satisfied though. Mission accomplished! I was lucky because they had a Mother's Day special for their earrings- buy one, get one half off! I ended up pay $43 (compared to the $100 Simms would have been) for all four piercings and the cleaning solution. Price is based on the cost of the earrings. I chose some simple ones because I didn't really like any of the ones they had, so I'm just going to swap them out later! Everything has been good so far but it's been less than a week. I'll update my review with any updates if anything changes. :) ALSO, they have a warranty policy, so that's really good. If your piercing happens to closed/get infected/etc. within 15 months, you can bring back your receipt and they'll repierce it for you! read more

This location is much better than the one at Great Mall in Milpitas. Mind you, it is still an island inside a mall, but this one seems more updated. Anyways, I got one of my seconds repierced because it got infected last time and took the earring out. I also got my thirds done at the same time. The girl that pierced it for me was really nice and patient with me. After each piercing, she stopped and waited until I was ready for another. Yay. The worst experience ever!! I've shopped at this location before years back when I got both my daughters' ears pierced there as infants. And as amateur the staff was at piercing, they were atleast pleasant . However, this time the Indian lady who works there most of the time is so biased against Indian customers. She literally told me I don't like serving Indian customers they ask me to take out several things and don't buy anything. How stereotypical is that statement!! Meanwhile each time I asked her to show me something she made a weird face at me in displeasure, indicating her frustration that she was having to open the lock with her key, to get to the items. She apparently wasn't expecting me to buy anything, but I ended up spending about $260. However when I was about to make the purchase and was deciding between 4 different items, she was pushing me to buy items with higher price tags, apparently they make some commission!! Subsequently she was trying to push me to get a warranty/service plan of some kind. Also while my credit card payment was going through, she added, "I don't care if a customer eats up my time asking me to show more items, as long as they don't come back to return the purchase later, I hate that, and Indians do that all the time". And as I was leaving she said with a smirk on her face, please don't bring these back for return, I hope you won't. It was the most demeaning experience I've ever had, and sadly it was racism that I encountered from someone of my own race!!! Totally blows me away!! If you don't like customer service roles, by all means get any other job, but one in retail where you are customer facing. Then once my receipt printed it came with a promotional coupon of $10 off a purchase of $40+ next time within a given time frame. When I took it back a week later she literally blew me off saying we have only standard size 7 in rings, your ring size, 6 is not available in any of the rings in the trays, meanwhile last week she had made the effort to search for ring sizes when I was likely to buy without a coupon. I wasn't even able to use that coupon, and the time window to use it is now gone. There is another week in August when I can use it and I intend to go at a time when she isn't there. I'd like someone worthwhile to get the commission. I hate to throw someone under the bus, because there is Karma and it gets to everyone in due time. However truth is employees like this need to be let go before they give a business a negative connotation. read more

She was so sweet, I didn't end up buying a new jewel because she has a screw on top that fit the jewel I already had. I was also listening to her help another customer and she was really helpful in getting him something within his precise range that he liked. Horrible customer service especially the manager! They pierced my 5 month old with the wrong earrings and just blamed it on wrong labeling of the box and didn't offer any kind of compensation. After over 1.5 hours of back forth the options they left us with was 1. Take out the earrings and come back in 24hrs get my babies ears RE-PIERCED with the correct earrings! 2. Come back in a month and get the earrings switched out 3. Get 25%off the wrong earrings they pierced my daughter with. They wouldn't just give us the earrings we wanted and paid for. So I came to this place to purchase some cheap earrings for my cartilage for the mean time. I first went to south land and they didn't have it in stock. Went here and got what I needed. But what I didn't like is the girl (white & skinny) who applied insurance without letting me know I had to pay $3.99 for it. She told me about it but didn't tell me I had to pay for it. Then I asked for a refund on it and she kept on saying "I told you. I would apply it and not tell you" I let her know she did tell me but didn't tell me I had to pay for it. I was applying the earrings and didn't realize until I saw the receipt. I work in sales too, I have never seen an associate tell the customer they are wrong. Seriously, I just kept my comments to myself and just asked for a refund but she kept going and going about the warranty. $3.99 on a $20 earring? I could just buy a new nicer pair later. It was temporary. Honestly, she needs to be retrained or let go. Her attitude was just all defensive and she wasn't even friendly from the start!
