His buddy already drunk began to get mad at me when he doesn't even work there or had no business there. He was offering me a beer to relax and after I denied, I continued to ignore him and then he later told me that he was going to charge me for trespassing. Moral of the story, take your business somewhere else and not here!!! I got my transmission rebuilt, paid for the transmission fluids to be drained and refilled. After getting my car back I had an oil change done within a few weeks after getting my car back. Upon arrival for my oil change the mechanic alerted me that there was a dangerous level of transmission fluid in my car. The dipstick was barely wet with fluid at the very tip. I explained that it had been less than month since I had just paid to have brand new transmission fluid added. The fact that there was little to none left indicated that it was never done at Frank's Transmissions. My rebuilt transmission was now probably damaged. So I warn you to please check the work that you pay for.

The dealerships really do NOT provide great service. One time I took my truck when it was relatively new to the dealership for an oil change and the service department didn't secure the oil filter properly. The next day I walked into my garage and there was oil all over the floor, engine and undercarriage of the truck. Imagine having to clean it up. It also ruined my pristine engine exterior and it smelled like burning oil for months. I was on a mission to find a reliable mechanic shop. I found Family Automotive Group on Yelp and noticed the great rating and excellent reviews. So I came to Family Automotive Group on Friday October 9, 2020 to get an oil change. They were a bit busy with another vehicle, but Brandon told me that they would be finished in an hour. So I went to eat lunch and came back an hour later and he immediately got to work on my truck. He was very careful with my vehicle and completed the oil change in about 15 minutes! I stayed there for a bit longer talking with Brandon and the Mechanic, Luc. They are SUCH genuine and friendly people! The honesty that they provide is EXTREMELY comforting to me, being that I value and take great care of my vehicles. People's cars are a big investment in their lives and we strive to maintain ours. I have finally found a repair shop that I can feel comfortable taking my vehicles to for years to come.

I took my vehicle for a transmission diagnostic to know what is wrong…read morewith it and after 2 hours they call me to get asking for an approval of 4 more hours of work to find the problem with no guarantee that they will find the issue. By the end of the day they called me to let me know that the transmission computer is bad and it needs to be replaced. Besides that they claimed everything is good as far as harness wire, solenoids etc.... Grand total of $2500. You can ask them for the report # 35071. I couldn't afford that so I took my vehicle back..... a couple days later I took my vehicle to a different place to get a different diagnostic and the in 13 minutes the technician found the problem. It was fixed for $300. The vehicle is running very good with the same transmission computer........ now you know what to expect in Allison Western States Converters and Transmission....thank you.....
