I came here on a gloomy Sunday afternoon. I was trying to fit the vibe as I was not in a good mood. Sad panda. However, after coming here though that helped put me in a better mood. I had two cocktails while I was here. I got the brave Marion, manzanita, and also some tater tots. Both of the drinks were very flavorful and well-made. The tater tots were a huge basket for eight dollars. Definitely enough to share. However, when you die alone, it doesn't matter and you can have as many as you want. That's a bonus of the single life. I did like that I could pick my sauces which I got a vegan sriracha sauce for dipping. The tater tots are gluten-free, but there is cross-contamination in do to the fryer for those who also are gluten-free. The bartender was friendly and also helpful. There is plenty of street parking however I could see it being a little bit more busier in peak summertime

We came in for the Summer of slushies. There were 2 choices of summer slushies available. Alcohol or no alcohol. We sat at the bar and it was very dim lighted establishment. The slushies was good. I had the non alcoholic one. Frozen slushies on a summer days are definitely good. They have a photo booth too at the corner of the establishment. Service was attentive. A nice big restaurant/bar. Enough seating for everyone. They had booths and tables available for your choosing. Street parking only. It's in an area where there are other restaurants nearby.

Cute vibes for a more divey type bar. There's a casket suspended from the ceiling with a disco in it. It was right up our alley. There were movies playing on a tv and projector in the space. The drinks were decent in taste and in price. Would go again, but not itching for a need to go back.

Found this place on yelp, first coming in I loved the vibe but that quickly went away. The bartenders name we ordered food and drinks through was Sunshine, which he severely lacked LOL. Maybe because the bar name is sad? Anyway We sat at the bar top but had to get in line to order drinks because he did not come by and check on us. He's also looking at a "cheat sheet" for specialty drinks so maybe he is new? Doesn't matter. We got cry baby shots, not bad! Then tecate's, my friend got the Mexican squirt with tequila, it was exactly that it was. Angel wings I ordered, the dipping by sauce was so Light it literally tasted like nothing, the wings were not spicy, too much cumin and skin rubbery. My friend got the BLAT add fried chicken, his fries came out cold, the service was so slow we decided to not say anything and just air fry it at home later. Sad that this place wasn't the vibe, I'll stick to tulip tavern across the street.

Came here for sandwich week, where they offered the Birds of Pray. This thing was packed with a mashed potato gravy and fried chicken, a unique combo that worked really well. I believe it may also be on the regular menu but not sure. They also have a pretty solid happy hour that I would like to check out. Atmosphere is on the darker side inside

I've been here a few times and I'm excited to see the menu has expanded! Food is yummy, I'm a big jalapeño poppers fan so was psyched to see them added to the menu. Drinks are fun and priced just about the same as everywhere else, weird Paloma is a fav. Service is quick, decor is cute, no complaints! Match boxes are a nice touch, I love how cute the design is!

This is such a fun spot! I've wanted to come for years and finally came by happenstance. They have a solid tap list and a wonderful ambience. Lexy was super attentive and knowledgeable about fun things to explore around the bar. Look forward to coming back some time!

It's an open space that is clean and the decor is unique. I really liked it, well put together. The bartender was attentive and kind. The menu was small, like very small. Here's where I got impressed tho - I ordered a sandwich asked for no bun. The cook himself came out to ask me if he could alter my food in another way. I agreed, and was so glad I did. He personally brought the food out and explained a little further what he did. Hats off to you buddy, you made my experience. I feel like there is so much impersonal about how we receive our food nowadays. Appreciate this level of service. Good mocktails, na beer options, fun decor, just give it a visit!!

To speak about Teardrop Lounge, I should probably start with this:…read more Ladies and gentlemen, I present my favorite cocktail bar. Not the best -- I'm not arrogant enough to claim that. I haven't been to every cocktail bar in Portland, and saying something is the best usually says more about your lack of experience than your conviction. But favorite? That I can stand behind. And I want to get that out of the way early, because of the amount of praise I'm about to pour on this place -- fully earned, completely intentional. The biggest crime here is that I only discovered it two weeks ago, after living in Portland for a year. It had been recommended to me countless times, and I ignored it. A mistake. A painful one. But now that I've found it, I don't plan on making that mistake again. I'm not typically an Old Fashioned drinker. In fact, I usually hate them. But somewhere between curiosity and too many episodes of Mad Men, I decided to try one anyway -- fully expecting to confirm my bias. Instead, it completely flipped me. Bright, almost citrus-forward in a way that felt unusual but entirely intentional. Balanced, smooth, just enough burn to remind you what you're drinking without overwhelming it. It was the first time I actually understood the appeal. I'm pretty sure I grew a few chest hairs that night. That alone would've been impressive. But it didn't stop there. The space is beautiful -- clean, intentional, but not cold. The staff are excellent: personable, engaged, and most importantly, authentic. Not scripted, not performative. The kind of people you actually want to talk to, and hopefully, eventually be on a first-name basis with. Now, all of that gets it close to a perfect score. But what pushes it over the edge -- what makes this place stick -- is the White Russian. One of the first drinks I ever had. My dad's drink. Not because of The Big Lebowski -- that came later -- but because it's just always been his thing. And at some point, it became mine too. Typically, when bars try to "elevate" a White Russian, they ruin it. They overthink it. Swap ingredients, tweak ratios, add unnecessary flair. And more often than not, it ends in disappointment. Teardrop does the opposite. They respect it -- but refine it. The coffee liqueur actually tastes like coffee. The heavy cream is properly integrated, not just dumped on top. The vodka -- whatever they're using -- is clean, present, and perfectly measured. There's a subtle complexity to it without losing what makes the drink what it is. It's the best White Russian I've ever had. No hesitation. I've gone back twice just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. If someone asked me what my death row drink would be -- this specific cocktail, from this specific bar, is in the conversation. Easily. Teardrop Lounge doesn't just make great cocktails. It reminds you why cocktails matter in the first place. And that's why it's my favorite.

But as soon as I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The interior is beautiful, with a stylish central bar that immediately catches your eye. Although they do serve food, I wasn't very hungry, so I decided to just enjoy a couple of drinks. There are a few dining tables inside if you're planning to have a meal as well. The bartender was incredibly friendly and took the time to chat with me after I asked for a few recommendations. The drinks were excellent, well-balanced, flavorful, and actually tasted like proper cocktails instead of just juice. They definitely didn't skimp on the alcohol either! I'm really glad I chose this place to celebrate. It ended up being the perfect spot for the occasion.

So we went in the middle of the afternoon but the line was still pretty long. They were nice enough to let us sit at tables they weren't waiting on while we waited. The restaurant has a jungle vibe, a real Southeast Asian feel. It's fun and lively. The waitstaff are pleasant, albeit not super friendly but maybe that's the vibe they're going for. We got the fried chicken, the wok fried yu choy, smoked pork krapao, white curry with brisket, and red curry with veggies. We also got a bunch of drinks. It's fun to have a place that puts just as much effort into their non alcoholic drinks as their alcoholic drinks. Strongly recommend you try something while you're here. Everything was great but if I had to pick my two favorites, it was the fried chicken and the white curry. I was worried the fried chicken would be too sweet but it's very well balanced. Not overly sweet or sour, very crispy and the meat was tender and juicy. For some reason I thought they would bones in them but they didn't. It was clearly the table favorite as it was gone pretty quick. The white curry was a great example of how this mashup of two cuisines work well together. The white curry is a mellow flavor and almost acts like a thin gravy to the well smoked brisket. I have high standards for brisket and whether this would hold up on its own is a question but it certainly worked well in this context. That's not to say the rest wasn't good. I think I liked the pork more than others but the stronger Thai flavors was not as big of a hit as the rest. That said, the fried egg was perfect and paired with the juicy pork belly that was so tender and rich. The red curry was delicious although the choice of veggies was not my favorite. The yu choy was good, if not a little ordinary. Some may not like the bitterness of the yu choy but I thought it added a little complexity to the flavors. All in all, we loved it here and will definitely come back if in Portland again.

Normally, we don't go out to eat often because we find ourselves spending money and leaving feeling like the experience didn't quite match the cost... but today was completely different. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and such a welcoming atmosphere. It honestly felt like we already knew the staff. We had a group of 8 adults and 3 babies. At $55 per person for all-you-can-eat (with kids eating free), it was such a fun experience. We ordered a little bit of everything, and enjoyed seconds, thirds, fourths, and fifths! Every dish came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. This is definitely the kind of place you want to visit with a group so you can try a little bit of everything. The service was incredible; we were cared for with so much attentiveness and joy. The owner was amazing, right there alongside his team, serving guests and making sure everyone felt welcomed. The whole experience felt less like eating at a restaurant and more like sitting around a family table: sharing food, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. What a beautiful restaurant and such a memorable experience. We will absolutely be back!
