Filet mignon (barg). Melts in your mouth!

We've been customers of Sadaf for years ever since they first opened. Our favorite dish was the juicy chicken but tonight what they gave us was absolutely terrible. Dry chicken breast with no taste. First they ruined the kabob koobideh, then the stews lost their quality and now the tasty chicken. What an absolute shame. Won't be going back. We'd rather drive an hour to Glendale to get real tasty Persian food than drive 12 minutes to get poor quality food. Only reason for second star is their service. Food doesn't deserve a single star.

We were in the Malibu area and decided to come here for lunch. We were seated right away, Leyla was absolutely a delight to speak to. She was in charge and very confident in handling a group of 8 men who may or may not have been loud and obnoxious at times. She made suggestions, she agreed to every single request and everything came out in time, not a single mistake. As usual, the food was incredibly delicious and always a wonderful experience when we come here. The place is emaculate, clean, classy, the wait staff is friendly and helpful. We will always opt to come here whenever we are north of the Valley. Thanks you Leyla!!!! By the way, she's in the photo with our group.

Loved Sadaf!!!! My Persian man said it was as if he was eating a home cooked meal :) We got the Gheimeh Bademjan and Ghormeh Sabz- both vegetarian, both delicious. Each entree comes with a generous serving of rice and tadig. It was enough for almost two meals each! We ordered pick up- the staff were very very friendly and the space was nice! Inside and outside dining, and a cute bar area. Parking is free and in the back, then you walk down to the main street to find the entrance. We will be back!!

We had a superb experience. Our neighbor suggested the place and treated us. The restaurant has lovely decor and is very clean. The food was absolutely delicious. We each had an entree and then Armenian coffee and lastly Dubai chocolate. The server was just wonderful. She was pleasant and friendly and really made our experience positive.

It was our first visit here and we enjoyed our lunch here. The eggplant appetizer was so yummy! If you love eggplant, definitely get that to share. It's a big portion! The beef koobideh didn't disappoint either. Restaurant is big with a bar. Service was friendly. Will return to try other dishes!

We came here for a birthday on a Friday night and were able to get seated immediately for 6 (although a recommendation is probably recommended). I don't eat a lot of Persian food but everything tasted fresh and authentic. We ordered the combo stew, combo appetizer, combo #5, and lamb rack. My standouts were the lentil stew, hummus, and lamb rack. I ordered the dough drink as well, which is a yogurt-y, dill drink, and it was good but not to my taste. Service was great!

Spectacular!!! The food, service and friendly vibe made our experience worth while. The food spoke for itself. The beef koobideh was like wagyu tender and juicy. My wife had the juicy chicken (literally) and it was one of the best chicken kabobs I ever had. Our mouth was savoring on every bite. It was insane! Our brains can't keep up on how to process the flavors. Please do yourself a favor. If you're planning to go to Raffi's Place, do yourself a favor and come to this place. You won't be disappointed. Next time we'll try their 3 stew dishes and more kabobs!

Boneless lamb kabobs with saffron rice, juicy barbecued tomato, onions and capsicum. SOMAGH & BREAD on the side.

What can I say went well? The food/the ambience/service ? All went great, felt welcomed and satisfied at the end of a busy work day.

Service was wonderful. Food was fresh. Chicken was juicy. The dolmas was not as expected but it was okay. Good portions.

However, the food the salad were really good. We had gotten lunch menu, which comes with soup or salad and a dish of chicken or beef. We had the lentil soup and it was outstanding. The restaurant looks nice and fancy, they have plenty of parking lots. Overall, the service was wonderful, if I am not mistaken, the server name was Jennifer and she was amazing. I would return to the restaurant, however I hope next time the eggplant dip would be better

It is better than their beef koobideh and barg, though those are still good. I have had better beef koobideh at other restaurants like Raffis or Shekarchi. Their bread is so fresh and is an elevated experience compared to the usual lavash bread that restaurants give. My friends had the salmon and they really liked it. The maast o khiar is really good too. The service is excellent - all the food came out quickly and the servers were nice. I will say I am Persian (and look very obviously so) and for some reason one lady only looked at/spoke to my husband and not me. I would say it's 4.5 stars because I was put off by this. We ended up ordering 1 combination appetizer and the dolmeh was good. Usually I may not like the flavor at some places, but this one I was able to eat. We ordered Juicy chicken (2), koobideh Kabob, Naderi kabob(2) and boneless lamb (2). They were able to plate them family style for sharing and so we got the mixed rice so we can try one od each type. They were nice enough to give a little extra rice to make the presentation of the plate look full. We were able to get 3 salads to get served family style as well. The sadaf salad came in the biggest plate to share, the beet and shirazi salad came in smaller portions. The chicken was big and juicy! All the meats we ordered tasted good... soft and tender. I really enjoyed the beet salad as it also had some sweetness to it. The mixed rice variety allowed us to try all the choices: Albaloo had sour cherries in it, Zareshk had barberries (was my husband's favorite), baghali has lima beans and dill, Asas has lentils raisins and dates making it a sweeter rice dish. They could have provided more bread for our appetizer platter and since we had more people but if you ask for more they will bring more. Everyone enjoyed the food. We did have a lot of leftovers so it would have been nice for our server to let us know to order a little less. We probably could have gotten away with a couple orders less. Also would be nice if they have some kind of chili or hot sauce or peppers for those that like a little more spice to their meal. It wasnt too busy when we went (but it was a weekday) so our party felt like everything turned out well food-wise and service was attentive, just a tad on the pricier side (Juicy chicken is $28 for 5 pieces and rice, and lamb and Naderi were $40 &$39).

Instead of feeling welcomed, we were treated with rudeness and complete unprofessionalism by the owner. When we tried to order food during the game, the owner told us we would have to wait until the game was over--almost three hours later. His attitude was dismissive and disrespectful, making us feel like we were bothering him instead of being paying customers. To make matters worse, the menu was extremely limited. There were only about three food options available, leaving us with almost nothing to choose from. The kebabs tasted old and were dry and disappointing. The quality of the food did not match what we expected, and the overall dining experience was terrible. The owner appeared to be the only person running the restaurant--serving customers, cooking, and managing everything himself--with little to no staff. The result was slow, disorganized, and unacceptable service. We brought a large group and genuinely wanted to support this local business, but instead we left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. In my opinion, the owner's attitude and lack of customer service are the biggest reasons this business struggles. From the poor food quality to the extremely rude service, the entire experience was a disaster. I will never return and cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.
