The restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and had a relaxed casual atmosphere. I also appreciated seeing reasonable pricing across the menu, especially for combo meals. I decided on the Oklahoma Onion Smash Burger with fries ordered well done. My wife ordered the Angus Burger special, and after a short wait our food arrived at the table. Unfortunately, this visit just didn't quite live up to the anticipation. The fries came out only slightly warm and definitely not "well done" as requested. As for the burger itself, the presentation was a little underwhelming right from the start. The sandwich leaned very heavy on the mayo, enough that I actually took the bun apart to remove some before taking my first bite. After adding mustard, the burger improved a bit, but overall it still landed in the "average" category for me. The Oklahoma onion flavor profile I was expecting never really stood out, and the burger simply didn't have that memorable quality that makes you immediately want to come back for another round. My wife shared a similar opinion about her burger as well. We also tried the onion rings. Flavor-wise they were decent, but the portion size compared to the $6.99 price felt a bit hard to justify. For that price point, I expected either a larger serving or something more memorable. That said, I always try to keep perspective when reviewing local restaurants. Running a small business is not easy, and I genuinely want local places to succeed and improve. While this wasn't one of my stronger burger experiences in the OKC area, I still appreciate the effort, friendly service, and opportunity to give them a try.
