The girls here are so damn rude. Came in to try to get a color change and was spoken to like an idiot. Geez man if you don't have time to provide services then first of all close your door and lock it and/or tell people in a friendly and genuine apologetic manner that you have no time for anymore clients. Really clean! The staff is quite nice and you can usually get in with the nail tech you prefer with a day or two of notice. I think the prices are quite steep and time management seems to be an issue for some of them. I've had appointments on three separate occasions and still waited 20-30 minutes. I understand they take walk-ins but scheduled appointments should take precedence. They have a pretty extensive collection of knockoff accessories such a purses, sunglasses, jewelry and nail products. read more

Beautiful nails every time, NICE people, good prices. My new nail spot! I used to go to Beyond Nails but they waaay overbook to the point you are waiting an hour even with an appointment. I had to walk out myself one time because the wait was so long. But the breaking point for me was when I had seen a lady wait 45 minutes after her appointment time just for an eyebrow wax. The crew there are so rude. The lady finally left because she had somewhere to be and when someone told the owner she left the owner actually said "her loss." I haven't been back since because I found Safari Nails! Safari does a better job, they have great attitudes, and they actually have the colors that I want! Beyond could never do anything cool except the traditional "flower" that I hate, and maybe some stamps. Safari does amazing work every time! read more

Not super impressed. I paid for a full manicure but they didn't clean my cuticles or anything, just filed them down. And even though I got gel they lasted less than a week. Disappointed, will not be going back. read more

I have been going here for quite some time now and I have never been disappointed. Very good gel nails and they can do any design you throw at them. Generally Ken does my nails and he is my nail guy now I refuse to get my nails done with anyone else. Great clean nail salon with nice service and staff. read more

Jenny got me right in, saw that I had fungus on 4 Nails, removed everything and gave me a new set. They are damn near perfect

I am highly disappointed in the way these nails have held up. I went to go get them done and talked with Jenny on the phone and she informed me they'd be one price, then when arriving I was told they'd be $5 more. Not a big deal but then I picked what I wanted and decided to just go with gel french tips. After just a couple days my white tips started to turn a brown color and it looked awful. Unfortunately I was out of town and wasn't able to call and complain and hopefully get them fixed. The product they use here must be a cheap one, I have never had this problem before. I shouldn't be paying $45 for nails that are going to turn brown after a few short days. I will not be returning and highly recommend none of you get white gel unless you want them to be brown shortly after. read more

This nail salon is not very good. I gave them a shot for 3 months thinking it would get better. It didnt, my acrylic nails started lifting after just a few days everytime. I was having to go back in weekly or my nails would look horrible.. I stopped going here because apparently their salon flooded.. I now go to Nv Nails and they are amazing I can easily go for 3 weeks or more and they are still looking amazing never lift not even a little. I waited for safari nails to call me back as they promised they would after they got their salon up and going again and that was like 2 months ago.. They never called me to tell me that they are open again or anything. It was the best thing that I found Nv nails. I have never been happier:-) read more

I went to get my nails done 3 days ago and I wanted to get marble design with some diamonds and I asked how much it would be they said it'll be 45 if it's not to difficult, I went anyways and when I showed them they were like nahh we don't know how to do that so had to change my mind but they did a okay job I wasn't really pleased with it especially when the guy told me that if I didn't like it how my nails came out he was going to charge me more !! Like why charge me more ?? Like you should know how to do your job, cause one hands my nails were long and the other hand was short and my middle finger I don't know what the hell it was doing like it was literally curving down !! Like why ??? So I had to file it when I got home and three days later 3 nails break off I go back to get them fix and now I'm so unpleased !! Came there for the second time, wanting to give them another chance after my first experience wasn't the greatest. Attempted calling a couple times before coming, no answer. I live around the block so i decided to just see if they had any available walk ins. I wasn't greeted by anyone when i walked in and no one else was seated, waiting to be seen. I sat down and smiled and politely waited, and waited, and waited. Nearly 45 minutes went by and no one had even greeted me still. Two other women walked in and sat and were seen within minutes. I will never go there again, as the customer service was obsolete. I do not recommend. read more

I walked in this nail salon today to have acrylics taken off and just a regular manicure.. I walked in and It wasn't a very friendly environment. I was not greeted and the gentlemen that works there was NOT friendly. I told him I need my acrylics taken off and he said "oh well that's extra we don't just do that it's gonna be $10" which would usually be fine but the way he approached it was very rude. Needless to say I walked out, I hate dealing with rude "professionals". I also live very close to this nail salon and I see the guy standing outside with his shirt off all the time which to me is very unprofessional. I will not be back to this salon! read more

Let me start by saying that I don't like going to walk in nail salons and today I was truly reminded of why...Quantity vs Quality!! The only reason I came in to a walk in nail salon is because my girlfriend (who always does my pedis and I do hers; we are nail techs) recently had stomach surgery and its a no no for her to do such activities until released from her doctor. I had hard gel toes for about a month and it was time that they must be filed off correctly. The lady that provided the pedi service was very pleasant but unfortunately does not know how to file off hard gel as she over filed all the way down to my toe nail bed...ouch! My toenails are paper thin that I can actually bend the free edges up and down....grrrr! She did a very nice massage that I will give her an A+ but gel polish application was definitely a D...I have gel polish all over my cuticles and the funny not so funny thing, the gel polish peeled right off of the pinkies when putting my socks on! I told her that most likely she didn't dehydrate the nail bed enough therefore moisture barrier created for gelpolish to not cure. She had a smirk on her face like I was inconvenience her and didn't know what I was talking about. She had already rushed to the next client without asking if I liked my pedi or needed anything else. The total time my pedicure took was 35min (3:15pm-3:50pm). I still had clumped up wet nail dust all under my toe nails...no clean toenails, as isn't that one important reason to getting pedis?! NEVER again will I step foot into this place and pay $50 for this kind of poor service. Sadly, it was not a busy day for my service to of been treated as such. I too am a nail tech and believe me, I would be out of business if I ever treated my clients with such poor service! In this profession let's not loose the passion of this rewarding career but always strive to give 100% to our clientele who work hard to be able to come to us and give them a time of relaxation and bliss to remember! read more

They aren't the least bit interested in serving you. They would rather check their phones instead of talking to you. But the thing that bugs me the most is when I got my nails done there the first time, they were pretty nice. EVERY time after that its a total mess. Nail polish got all around the nails and when I tried to get it off half my manicure came with it! Very very sloppy. read more

I have been going to Safari Nails for 3 years and I love them. With every previous nail tech I had, I would have to go in like clockwork every 2 weeks. Now, I can go 3-4 weeks without breaking a nail. Ken is always willing to do whatever I want, from changing my nail shape (I'm generally a stiletto girl, but sometimes I want coffins) to painting them all kinds of crazy colors. Everyone knows me by name and always greets me with a smile. I used to live close by and have since moved down south of town, but I make the commute because I love this shop. read more

I believe in giving a place at least two chances. I've gone here twice, and at first it was okay, but the second time was much worse. I got gels both times. the first wasn't terrible, uneven, but livable. the second time the nail tech was really sloppy, and she must not have used the bond (the first step of gels, before putting on the polish) because when the polish peeled (which of course it did, because she didn't clean around the nails good enough, apparently) it came off with half of my nails. read more

Very crooked nails, can barely see the design on my ring finger and wasn't filed down very well the sides are still pretty sharp. First time there and won't be going back. My sisters nails were messed up also. The acrylic was caked on so they look super fake. Bubbles in the acrylic and they didn't make us wash our hands after the filing and buffing so we had the white stuff was in the nail polish. Polish also isn't even and each nail wasn't covered completely by the fake nail. So you can still see part of my real nail read more
