Easy job. So many other places wouldn't even quote it. I received a text when Greg was on his way. Greg and an apprentice arrived at the beginning of the service window. Greg did all the work but I could hear him explaining all the techniques to keep a routine job from turning into an expensive mess. Those tips gained from experience are why I don't DYI this kind of work anymore. Good to know the plumbers starting on their journey are studying under people that know what they're doing. They offered to come back at no charge, even though we are over an hour away, to re-inspect the new leak. The fix will require a roofer rather than chimney pro, so I'm having it fixed elsewhere, but the fact they took the time to come out and inspect again at no charge, just in case it could be an issue with the new caps, says volumes about their honesty and reliability. We had water pooling a few inches deep in our driveway after it rained. Sometimes the water would…read morestay there for days. We got estimates and different options from a few companies. Most other companies only wanted to repair the lawn with seed or leave it to us to sod. We liked that Schmitt Waterproofing offered sod after regrading. Their price was competitive and they did a great job. Now the water runs off of the driveway in around an hour or so even after long heavy rains. Now we don't have to jump over a small pond everytime we need to walk there. I don't have a more recent photo but the sod is green and blended into the rest of the lawn now. I would recommend Schmitt Waterproofing to everyone that needs help with a drainage issue.
