I was in a bind with shipping a laptop and was on the way to OfficeMax when I saw this place pop up on yelp for shipping services. I figure I'd walk in and ask if they sell supplies and packaging, I was super happy with the warm greeting and the man (I forgot his name) answered all of my questions. Super painless experience, I've been to some other shipping spots where I get the cold shoulder or have to pay cash only (after I got my packaging set up) or just rude staff. I have a PO Box at PostNet on Flamingo and honestly that guy either is rude or does not like me. I liked it there when he had a worker, she was really nice, the day she left (or he let her go as he claimed) I asked where she was and he said-I let her go, now things will go right-insinuating she somehow messed up. Every time I go there for anything he is not so polite (and I do see him being polite and friendly to other customers) and if I need anything done he always charges me top dollar for it. So I started going to my local PostNet and then the UPS store then I found SafeShip. They are the ABSOLUTE MOST HONEST shippers in Las Vegas (and honesty in Las Vegas is almost an oxymoron). I literally love dealing with them. They advise me of all my options, I can run in and just lay something (prepaid) in front of them and run back to my car and they take care of it immediately. They never price gauge, which was my issue at other places, they just really are a nice and honest business and want to make customers feel a personal touch and deal honestly. These are always great characteristics of any business but with shipping it literally is the difference of paying the $35 to ship to California and the $5.95 flat rate box-most places would recommend the first, they earn more on it, these guys will always tell you which is your cheapest and which is your best, sometimes they are the same and sometimes they are not, either way you get the choice and the service. I would not ship from anywhere else now as long as I am here in the Anus Mundi (aka Las Vegas), where dishonesty usually is what wins. Go to these guys, they are one of the few good guys. read more

Dec 22nd, I had to ship packages out to my family across the globe, never thought they did international shipping but they do! It was confusing but the sweet helpful lady I had made my worries melt away. She helped me fill out the paperwork & slip. Her confidence made it much easier on me (nerves were getting to me). I wanted to make sure they got the package before I typed up a review. It arrived today, 3 days sooner than I expected!! Two weeks to send a 5lb. package to a different country? I was floored it made it there without trouble. Cost me under $60 to ship to Western Europe but hearing from my family made me smile this morning. Great service. Better than driving to the nearest Post office down by where we USED to live (Russell RD & Buffalo). Saved me time & money. I sent an urgent letter through this store, paid for postage and certified mail, yet it was returned to my home and was never sent out. I returned to the store to rectify and the lady at the counter was not helpful at all. Customer service was bad, her ability to address the issue and resolve it was totally incompetent. My package was VERY URGENT and her only solution was to resend it withOUT investigating as to why the issue occurred in the first place. My concern was, if the letter was resubmitted, how do we know the same issue was not going to happen again? The least she could have done was look into whether the certified mail postage number was in fact valid. Look into the root cause of the issue. Don't just resend and hope it won't be sent back. English is not their first language and that only makes if more challenging to communicate and resolve issues. Go somewhere else. That's what I get for trying to avoid the long lines at the post office. This incident set me back 8 business days. read more

Worst customer service ever! Do not do business with this man. He was completely rude, told me he was simply a drop off location and will not help with any other needs, threw my packages in the back without letting me reseal them, no hi, no bye, no thank you, to only get a follow up email stating he didn't like me as a customer and that's why our country is all bad because of customers like me.
