I came in for a slow leak on my back rear tire. Salesman David Hollcraft assisted my service. Another employee saw my windshield and they tried to work together on pricing for both. David looked at my car and told me all four tires needed replaced- two of my tires were older, and the front two were somewhat newer as they were purchased in 2023. I told David I'm not replacing all four. David told me he wouldn't take my back rear tire off the car to look at it because it's illegal for them because of how worn down the tire was. I discussed the price for two tires (my older tires) and I told him I wanted to call my dad because I haven't heard of the brand he offered. David was rude and condescending when I was looking for another opinion. I purchased two tires. As I'm sitting down in the chairs ten feet from the desk, waiting on my vehicle I hear David telling another employee how they are not going to lose money and at this point he would be trading service for what the tires were costing. David then said to the same employee in the service department- do the windshield for free! I don't care! Overall, if you are a woman coming into Belle Tire alone, I wouldn't recommend. read more

Later, I stopped by the Belle Tire on 86th Street, and after checking the alignment, the attendant said all my tires were in the green and no alignment was needed. If I could give place 0 stars I would. They replaced my front tire and told me it was okay for me to get a mismatched front tire. So I did, because I'm just a girl. Mind you later I found out that this was crazy they said yes and dangerous. Now not even 4 days later I'm driving on the highway and my tire goes flat, and guess what the tire literally had a tear in it. A TEAR. I am sharing this information in hope that others can avoid what happened to my daughter and I at Bell Tire. My daughter contacted me Monday morning to let me know that one of her tires seem to be loosing air. We have a pump in the garage so she inflated the tire and went to Bell Tire where the tires were purchased. My daughter contacted me via phone to let me know that the technician said the tire had to be replaced because it had been repaired three times. I asked to speak to the technician and informed him that the tire had not been repaired three times. He insisted that the tire had been repair three times. My daughter needed to get to work so we replaced the tire. I went to another Bell Tire location and asked them to provide me with the history. The technician informed me that the records showed that the there was one tire repaired on the vechicle. He also provided me with a print out. I contacted The Bell Tire Customer Service department and spoke to a Mr. B. Cocks and shared the information I had recieved including the print out the other store had provided showing one repair. We had several conversations in which he said he spoke to the technician in the store who shared that the tire had been repaired three times. When I persisted for several weeks, Mr. Cock asked me what I wante I told Mr. Cock I wanted at a minimum for the tire cost to be prorated. Mr. Cock came back to me and informed me that the technician said my daughter had driven the car on a flat. I was shocked!!!! First of all, she did not drive on a flat, second, we spoke to the technician at least twice and he never said anything about her driving on a flat, he spoke to me on the phone and NEVER mentioned anything about the car being driven on a flat, our house is at least 10 miles from the Bell Tire location and there is no damage to the rim, which would have occurred had she driven in Indianapolis on a flat. I started going to Bell Tire when the comapny I work for starting offering discounts there but the discount is not worth what I have gone through and the additional cost. I question the integrity of Bell Tire base on my experience both at the store and corporate level. read more

The left front on my 2012 Genesis G80 had been slowly losing air over a period of three weeks. I had done business with this Belle location three times in the past. I was afraid I was going to have to buy a new top of the line Pirelli All-Weather. That was going to cost me over $300. After a while they came in to tell me there would be no charge. I couldn't believe it. But Jacob said they could find no punctures or tread seperation. What they did find was that the specialized tire valve had gotten partially unscrewed from wheel and they simply tightened the valve nut. I came in for a sound that my car was making when I turned my wheel. It was creaking like a door and has been doing so since I got the car pretty much. I have gone to two other places that have turned me away either saying they couldn't hear the noise or that there wasn't anything they could do. My coworker recommended this location specifically and said her family has gone here for years. I came here for a free check to see if they could find anything wrong and to get an estimate, they took my car back for a little over an hour and came back out to me, explained exactly how they looked for the issue (I guess there was a bolt or something loose that they tightened). Since I came in for a free check and all they did was tighten a bolt they didn't charge me. As a single girl who has paid $100 at a different place for NOTHING done, I was so impressed and appreciative of this service. I wish I could rate this as a zero star. I've been a long-time user of the Castleton Belle Tire Store, having used them for all my vehicles and several company vehicles over the years. Yesterday, I called in to set up an appointment for this morning at 10:00 AM. When I arrived at the appointed time, I was greeted by Jacob to whom I told that I had a 10:00 AM appointment for a rotation and balance. He punched in the information and took my keys. I asked him how long it would take to get this done and he said about an hour. During the course of the transaction, I asked two more times before leaving and he said about an hour. I told him That I was going to get some breakfast and that I would be back around 11 o'clock. When I returned at 11:00, my vehicle had not been touched. When I asked why not, Jacob told me that it was next. I asked why it hadn't been brought in already because I had a 10:00 AM appointment, he said that I did not have an appointment. I went through the story of how I had set up the appointment the day before and he kept telling me no I didn't and the computer said that I did not have an appointment... basically, he kept calling me a liar. When I asked to see the manager, he pointed out the gentleman at the next desk named Dave, who had the same indifferent attitude as Jacob. After recounting the story again, Dave asked me what the problem was, to which I told him that my time had been wasted and on top of that, I was offended by the fact that Jacob kept calling me a liar, when in fact, Jacob had lied to me by telling me my vehicle would be done within an hour. I put a call into the corporation and explain the situation to them, it'll be interesting to see if anything happens. This is possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. read more

I have been a loyal customer to Discount Tire for years. I know most of the managers at all locations but for the past 8 years I've been serving my car at dealerships because of my warranties. So stepping into Bell Tire for the first time I wasn't sure how it would be. I needed new RIMS. I have researched many and had pricing and pictures. I was greeted by Jonathan ( the manager) and told him my wants. He helped me go through some rims online. I found one that I had a pic of snd he offered me a much better deal! I was going to go to Discount Tire after this visit to compare but they were so nice and I got such a great deal with the application for their credit card I have 6 months 0% interest. After having the other experience with them we just paid and went on our way. I heard my wife explain her issue and asked if there were any other issues after she had gotten her alignment. They said "No". To only leave and still have the same issue. I told her to take it somewhere else to have the issue checked. We take it to another shop and they immediately pointed out that her tire had a broken belt in it. My wife drives across town daily to do a multitude of things, the thought of her continuing to drive around on a tire that was deteriorating with the thought that nothing else was wrong with it, bc she was told nothing else was wrong is infuriating. I initially inquired about new tires during their Black Friday sale. A rep was suppose to call me back with a price, but after more than 24 hours I hadn't received a response. Considering this was a time sensitive sale, I called back and spoke with another rep. I was immediately given the quote, and decided that I wanted to get 4 new tires. They didn't have my size in stock, but they could order them. In order to get the BF pricing, I had to prepay. No big deal. The tires arrived in less than a week. I think I have visited 5 times in the last year, 2 different cars 3 different issues and tires were not purchased from Belle but the two times the car had to go into the actual shop for issues I wasn't even charged. Belle Tire was founded in 1922 in Detroit Michigan, growing up to more than 90 locations and entering the Indiana market in 2015 with four Northern Indiana locations before, only recently, entering the Indianapolis market with this location on East 86th Street behind Castleton Square Mall right across from Costco's very large parking lot. I'd heard good things about Belle Tire and due to increasingly negative experiences with a vendor I won't name (Firestone), I have been exploring options for both car repair and to address an immediate need related to tire concerns. After the aforementioned vendor whose name I still won't name (Firestone) failed to fix a tire issue correctly despite the fact they were actually purchased from Firestone, I decided to give another vendor a try. So, today when I noticed my tire light come on during my drive to work I decided to leave from work a bit early and head on up to Belle Tire. First off, I have to observe that never in years of being a customer of a certain other vendor I won't name (Firestone) have I been able to drive in at 2pm and get service - often being unable to get any type of service. So, I was a little skittish about driving up to Belle as I expected to be turned away or, minimally, only to be able to get air in the tires and have to deal with it another day. Instead, I drove up to the relatively new building and immediately noticed two ADA compliant parking spots directly in front of the main entrance that is level to the ground - no curb cut needed. The front door is a single, glass door. While I didn't struggle with the door, I quickly got the sense that if I had someone would have responded quickly. You enter and there's a couple service kiosks to the right with a display area in front of you. I was greeted at the door by friendly personnel who sought to identify my need and, somewhat refreshingly, didn't rush to stand behind a counter and put everything in a computer (though this was done in a much more casual, friendly way). Instead of being turned away, I was told they could likely have me diagnosed and, if repair needed, fixed up in about an hour. What? Service? In the afternoon? With no long wait? I fully expected that even if I got lucky and got service, I'd be stuck there until they closed. My info was taken, my keys taken and I was shown the waiting area that includes a computer bar (a higher-stool table area where you can plug in and use your laptop) with additional seating, the customary television, and an adjacent vending machine (plus coffee available). This area was sharp, though that might be expected since it's relatively new. The only complaint I had here was that the computer bar area was not wheelchair friendly - I doubt someone in a wheelchair could have plugged in very easily, though they do also offer free wifi. I did notice their single user bathroom is wheelchair accessible with grab-bars in place. They were well staffed - I didn't count the bays, though they had several bays. They also do offer a wide array of services - not just tires. They don't do engine work or complex electrical work. About 45 minutes after I arrived, the same person who'd greeted me came over and explained the issue that ended up being a fairly simple fix. It was explained in layman's terms - it was a relatively simple issue, but I noticed their ability to communicate in a way that explained the issue for those of us without tech minds. The simple issue was fixed at no charge as not even a patch ended up being needed. I appreciated their honesty and I appreciated that while they told me about their other services they didn't present with a long list of other things needing done. They also asked me if they needed to adjust my site, a recognition of the disability - bravo. They also brought the car up to the door. I also was impressed that even when I mentioned my certain negative experience with another vendor that they remained positive, professional and didn't feed into it. They simply fixed my issue. I honestly think I was so surprised by the positive experience that I didn't even contemplate having an oil change done (which is due), though truthfully I didn't really have time and it was, again, refreshing not to be hit up for it. As a customer with a disability, I also didn't feel the usual condescension I often get. Overall, this was an exceptional experience and so far beyond what I'm used to experiencing that I actually left Belle Tire in a good mood. The personnel actually make a point of connecting as humans - hand shakes and casual contact consistently seen with each customer. The staff seemed diverse - I saw male, female, black, white, and Hispanic personnel present. They were dressed well and when they were out among customers the attitudes were consistently positive. I ended up coming back due to my quote for front brakes and rotors being extremely reasonable than surroundings companies. I was told to come in between 8:30 AM and 9:30AM to drop off my car. I brought my car in during that time and was told should be done in a few hours. I got a call about completion at 12:30. I was pleased with drop off and pick up this time around. I was in dire need of front breaks and rotors and now my it feels like I have a brand new car! Thanks for following up a not so good visit with a home run visit! Everyone here at this location was very nice. I had heard about Belle from radio ads saying that they were the preferred tire store for the Colts and Pacers :-) I had a nail in one of my tires on my Toyota Tacoma truck and decided to go ahead and get a new set of 4. I stopped in Costco next door first to see what they had. The service rep at Costco was also very nice and helpful. But they didn't have my tires in stock and it would have taken a few days to get them in. I chose the tires that I liked at Belle. Michael at the 86th St Store even pulled up a few other tires so that I could comparison shop on the computer screen and see the ratings. And he pulled up the price of my same tires on the competitors websites so I could see if there was better pricing anywhere else. Once I chose my tires he said that they weren't at the store then, but that he would go get them from another Belle location if I wanted them that same day. That was very nice to go to that extreme for my business. But I had a good spare, so I was able to wait a couple of days. Trevor called me on the day of my appointment. I told him that I had seen an upcoming sale online and that I would just wait for the Sunday Sale. He was kind enough to go ahead and give me the upcoming sale price so that I didn't have to wait for my tires. The rep who checked me out was also very nice and outgoing. I didn't catch his name. I had been in to have some work done at the Castleton location, and ended up not being completely satisfied with how that was handled. I received an email survey from Belle shortly thereafter, and expressed my concerns in my responses. Within a day, or two, I received a call from the store manager wanting to talk things through, and offering to have me come back in to address my concerns. We had a good discussion, set an appointment, and I was very pleased with their response. I have, unfortunately, had 2-3 less than satisfactory service experiences with Belle stores, so my overall rating for their service would be less than 4 stars, but I will say that, at least in this case, their effort to follow up showed a nice commitment to seeing that I became satisfied. read more

I bought 4 new tires for a Nissan Sentra and granted I had to go towards the cheaper end but I got 4 brand new tires, tires installed and a alignment check for for $429 plus I just submitted the correct info to get a $40 mail in rebate. The whole experience was great from ordering everything online at 1am and able to schedule an appointment in less than 11 hours later. I walked in and was greeted immediately and only had to wait for about a min to give my keys. Then to do everything took a little over an hour. Highly recommend. read more

Since that time, there has been an audible squeak when driving the car. I thought it would go away, but when it didn't I decided to have them look at it - after all, my initial experience was that the service was good and the prices reasonable. So, I made an appointment at 1030 on a Monday morning. At 1210, I asked for an update and was told "He's taking a look at it now." When I turned from the counter, I noticed the car sitting exactly where I had parked it (an hour and 40 minutes earlier). I asked for the keys and left. If they will lie about what was probably an honest mistake, they will lie about other things in an effort to upsell. Disappointed and will not be back. read more

My $50k brand new truck had a tire puncture by a nail. I left towels on the seats as well as covered the seats to keep it clean. The towels were all moved around, not covering the seats fully & a huge grease spot on the upholstery. I could feel my blood boil! Ugh!!!!! When I walked in, there were 3 men standing in front of 3 different computers. There was one person T the desk speaking to 1 of the men, I have no idea what the other 2 were doing but once the person at the desk walked away... there were 2 of us (both women in line) and I was last. After the person at the desk was finished and walked away... NO ONE SAID ANYTHING TO US! No, "one moment we'll we right with you... just DEAD SILENCE! So, the guy that was with the customer, proceeded to make a phone call AND STILL NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FROM ANYONE!!! I stood there, called COSTCO, was able to have them check for availability on my tire size... THEN... A Belle Tire employee, asked if they could help me!! Nope! You sure cant!! Wow just saw that I came here and had the same issue with the extremely long wait. Won't be coming back. 2 hours and 30 minutes to put on 2 tires. That's terrible. I'd rather be told "we can't get you in until next week" or "go to another location for better service." But to have an appointment at 4pm say I'm next in line and next means 2 hours is bs. 2nd time here, first visit was 2-1/2 hours to fix a flat tire, now the second time waiting on tire repair, it's approaching 3 hours now and they haven't even touched my car. This place really needs to have some staff that works. I'm sorry now that I bought 2 overpriced tires from here and have to come back here for warranty service. So, it's pouring rain. We're getting ready to be "stay-in-place" for the next couple weeks because of the COVID19 thing, and I'm trying to get some stuff done when one of the tires on my 18' flatbed trailer goes flat. I pulled into a car repair place but they didn't do tires. They pumped up my flat and called Belle Tire in Castleton to see if they were open and could get me in. I drovece over and the guys at Belle's checked out the tire, replaced the valve stem, and didn't charge me. Remember, they did all this in the rain. I was back on the road in twenty minutes. I recently ruined one of my tires and needed it replaced. I took it in for a tire replacement. Belle Tires said I had an issue with the alignment, so I had them do an alignment while in the shop. The car seemed normal and was driving smooth and straight, an alignment was not the reason for my visit. Now, there was an issue with the alignment and took it back days later. It was driving very unnormal. They corrected free of charge, and is driving how it was prior to my first visit. I am satisfied with the end result, and would use Belle Tires in the future. I spent a few hours shopping for tires online, ordered them from Belle and set up my installation appointment. That part was great. I got to the store at the appointed time only to be told my tires didn't come in. What? They could have saved me the trip and rescheduled for another day. Instead I was offered a different set if tires. So much for my diligent research. The only tricky part of the job was that I had one of my new rims installed due to a flat and the rest in the back seat if the car. I had instructed them to put the tires on my black rims. I go to look at the progress and the guy had installed the tires on the mismatched rims the car rolled in on and not the black rims as instructed. Had more waiting. My appointment was at 11:30a and I was on time. I am still sitting here 3 hours later waiting. My time is valuable and don't appreciate the out of stock tires that were ordered a week before and then mounting my tires on the mismatched rims instead of the 4 matching rims like common sense would dictate. What I saved in dollars was lost to the needless wait. 3 hours for 4 tires. Ridiculous really. Maybe this is a one off, deal, but I won't be back. You should be aware that they don't value or respect your time. Next time I'll pay more for better service. Totally not worth it. Update: when I got my car back the tpms system was not properly reset for my new rims and sensors. I called and they said they would reset automatically after some miles. They were wrong. Weeks later I am back in here to get the issue resolved. The new sensors were not registered with the tpms system thus the problem. They are in no hurry to get me done and I am once again sitting endlessly in the waiting room to fix an issue that should never have been. This has cost me yet another hour of my time. Do yourself a favor, stay far far away from this place. They do not value you or your time. I would think that fixing their mistakes should be a priority. Not so. read more
