Scotty was the technician who was sent by Safelite through my insurance company. Scotty was FANNNNTASTIC, contacted me prior to arrival, he was very professional, pleasant, knowledgeable, did a remarkably beautiful job on windshield. The 1st time I used Safelite several years ago was NOT a good experience; sure wish Scotty had been our Tech then as well! I don't know which store/location that crummy Safelite Tech from several years ago was from, nor do I know which store/location sent Scotty to the rescue. I made the appointment online for the next day at their shop. They were ready with paperwork and took payment. I waited in the lobby maybe 45 minutes and left with a new windshield. In my experience it was really straightforward and they did a great job. They even placed my parking decal, oil change reminder and toll pass back on. I hadn't even thought of that! I would give a zero star rating if possible. After waiting a month for an appointment, I arrived to a parking lot in disarray, a full waiting room of people, and a rude front desk person. After leaving my car, I was informed by phone two hours later that the parts were damaged, and the repair could not be finished. I asked when it could be completed and was told the parts would be ordered and I would be contacted. After waiting two weeks, I called back and was told I would be contacted when they were available. Two months, I'm still waiting. I got my windshield replaced at an independent shop with no difficulty at all. read more

I scheduled 2 of my vehicles for windshield replacements through the website and was given prices for each. When I checked in for my appointment the receptionist told me it would be over $500 more for one of my vehicles because they had to recalibrate my cameras which they weren't even sure they could do. This is very odd considering the website said I needed to go to my dealer to get this done and had me check a box to acknowledge this needed to be done at the dealer. When I explained I'd rather have the dealer do the calibration portion, they said they wouldn't do the replacement without the calibration together. I explained that they already said they weren't even sure they could do it. She checked with a tech in the shop and said "they are sure they can do it" I paid for everything and shortly after a tech came out and began explaining the process and stated they will try and calibrate the cameras but if they couldn't I'd need to go to my dealer. It amazes me this is the level of service that's excepted these days. Well today I started reading the reviews and it's the same thing over and over. Never again. read more

The front windshield on my Porsche Macan was struck by a rock this November and it immediately started to crack. I called my insurance company and used my auto glass coverage to pay for the replacement with an$50 deductible. Setting up the appointement was super easy. The person we spoke to was very knowledgeable and friendly. The technician that actually did the work did it with care and precision. It seemed to take longer than expected, and when he walked me through post installation care he mentioned that it took him longer because he wanted to properly hide the wires when installing the rear view mirror console. The staff at Safelite took the time to do the work right and treated me as if I we family. I'll be taking all of my vehicles to Safelite for chip repairs or glass replacements from now on. read more

This place is horrible! Negative 5 stars!!!! Do not use this location!!!! They will waste your time and/or do a horrible job. After waiting a week for my mobile at home appointment they called at 7:30am and woke me on the day of the appointment to tell me they weren't coming...ever. They said I'd have to come to the shop. But I have a caved in windshield and can't drive 30 minutes on the highway. also they want me to leave my car there with no guarantee that they even have the right Part. They were so rude and unapologetic for wasting my time And leaving me in a dangerous situation. I had to call corporate 40 times to speak to someone and they couldn't get through to the Everett locations manager. The tech who called to cancel couldn't reschedule me and told me to call a number that came up disconnected. The local number listed on line goes straight to the corporate line which uses an Ai that doesn't work and disconnects you after long holds. I could've made an appointment somewhere else but they lied and said they would do the job so I didn't. Now I'll have to wait for another shop to order the part while I can't use my car. dont trust the good reviews as it's probably the managers friends and family writing them or fake accounts. look At all these one star reviews. This is the first time I've written a negative review but I am so disgusted by the treatment I received that I had to warn others to stay away from this place. save yourself a lot of aggravation and avoid the Everett Safelite. I scheduled an at-home appointment. The technician was friendly, on time and completed the job. However, an hour later I noticed stains on the front seat. I called the dispatch number. He came back out and used baby-wipe materials which got rid of the black marks but left moisture stains on the cloth seats. A couple hours later I drove on the freeway. The A-Pillars flew off of the car. I called dispatch. They were not concerned at all. I had about 6 phone calls before a technician was sent to the house to repair (over a month later). The parts were not correct. While he tried to make do, he had to order more parts. It was another week or so with a mismatched car. Overall, it took 3 visits to my house, over 2 hours on the phone and I have not received any kind of discount at all for the poor quality of work. read more

Like most other businesses right now I can only assume they are short staffed. They did have to cancel my initial appointment because someone called out sick. When my rescheduled appointment came, Daniel showed up and did a really great job. Make no mistake this is a very technical job. My 2020 truck doesnt have electronics built into the windshield but some of the newer cars do. If this employer doesn't start giving their techs the amount of time it takes to do the job correctly they will continue to suffer the bad reviews you see on here. Brought my Lexus here to have the original factory front windshield replaced for the first time. I told them I was not in a hurry and would pick it up later that day. They were done in about an hour so I had to come back. All of the windshield molding was bent, clips broken and missing. One of the side trim pieces flew off on the way home. They did come to my house to replace the trim but said some clips were broken. My main concern now is the windshield cowling that is bent from what looks like them pulling up and bending it. I did talk to the district manager and they said they would get back to me and he never did, I think his name was Mike at the time. This is a vehicle that is driven maybe 500 miles a year and sits in storage. They initially tried to blame the deformity on weather and sun. I don't understand why a company gets defensive when I have a valid concern. I would not take a car here that you care about or have a high attention to detail on. They still never made it right and it's sad my car was in better shape before I gave it to them to hack away on for an hour. read more

By far the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any car issues. My Honda Odyssey needed a new windshield so I took it to Everett. First they put non OEM part so none of the safety features would work. They tried blaming it on Geico and Geico blamed them for not putting OEM part. We rescheduled repair for a bit over a month in advance which is today. This morning when I called to confirm appointment and that they have the OEM windshield, they were confused and blamed it on a computer glitch that it erased our order and appointment. Be careful using Safelite! I scheduled my appointment a month ago and I live in TN. I flew back to WA to have my windshield done for my daughters car. I scheduled the appointment a month in advance and was told it would be 800.00. They call me during my scheduled appointment time to tell me they should have special ordered the glass and the price would change. They called me a day later and said it would take 4-6 weeks to get and the cost 2100.00. I called the dealer and they only charge 1100.00. Go to your dealer! These people are a joke. All they said was o well have a great day. They are overpriced and do not have good customer service. They did not even care I came in from out of state to do this. read more

Nothing WORSE than a cracked windshield!!! Only thing that eases the pain of paying $270 for any car repair is GREAT customer service!!! From walking in to get my quote to picking up my car, I was PLEASED!!! It started with an AMAZING quote that easily compared to everyone else's prices around. What beat out the competitors?? The great customer service!!! Although they had several people in line, the girls were very attentive and acknowledged everyone who walked through the door. I dropped my car off this morning, and conveniently was able to pick it up this afternoon. I went to the Hawaii location a couple months ago to fix my windshield before I moved to Washington. Unfortunately because it doesn't rain much back in Hawaii I was not aware that they had installed my window incorrectly. I came up to Washington and it's now just starting to rain and the way they installed my windshield caused water damage to the electrical wiring in my dash. Water was leaking right through on to my floor on the passenger and driver seats. I brought it back to the Everett location in Washington and the tech there had informed me that the people back in Hawaii didn't seal it correctly, and some parts were glued on upside down and they broke a couple of the clips on the side of my windshield. As the damage is done and I now have to pay a lot more to fix the water damage that I know this company will not replace, I am upset. I suggest you folks double check everything. Although the Hawaii location messed up, the one up here in Everett WA is so great ! Super respectful informative, and definitely will recommend people to go to that location. read more

It just gets worse for Safelite!! If I could only give a negative star review. I am currently at Alderwood Auto Glass getting the work completed that Safelite said they could not do! Upon removal of the old windshield, The owner of Alderwood Auto Glass and I did a thorough inspection of the of the mating surface for the windshield. We found NO rust at all and come to find out, there was no silicone used on the install of the windshield as well. So either the Safelite technician did not know what he was doing, did not know what he was looking at or flat out didn't care!...either way DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Oh, did I mention that I was quoted over $600.00 by Safelite!!! When the same work being completed here is only $360.00!!?? Save yourself the headache and money and don't use Safelite!! OK world of yelp, I would like to respond to one of my first ever reviews. It was of the awesome service I got from Safelight. I was informed today that it was removed because I embellished my experience with this great business. I totally understand, according to the yelp rules I must be 100% honest. ( Side note: I think most reviews on yelp are embellished one way or another but hey to each his own.) So in the light of full disclosure I will post my review again with 100% honesty. Removed Content: While I was getting my window replaced my wife went into labor. The guy stopped installing my window called 911 and then grabbed a toolbox from the van and delivered my twin girls with a pocket knife, pair of pliers and some cable ties. (Truth: Frantically he called 911 then watched as the aid car came and took us away to the hospital.) This was AMAZING, Then when EMS arrived he went back and finished installing my window. ( Truth: He finished installing my window then drove to the hospital to give me my keys.) We have decided to name both our girls after this great Safelite employee.(Truth: We had twin boys and only named one Nathaniel.) Ok so I've had good experiences with safelight and their products are actually good. I am giving them a poor rating for their customer service. I had a small nick on my windshield that god quickly fixed with resin. It expanded quite a bit the day after I had it fixed. I took it back in and they graciously told me they would fix it free of charge because they guarantee their product. They finished with my windshield and quoted me $200 because the crack was over 2" long and they ended up having to replace the windshield entirely. I was not happy because 1) If the first fix would've worked initially, it wouldn't have expanded. 2) If service is "guaranteed" wouldn't this be free of charge? 3) When the tech looked at it he said nothing about it possibly being too large to fix with out replacing the windshield entirely. read more

Had a broken driver side window. Took a month to get a service, tech came out and managed to break the window regulator while doing the work. He said he would order one and call me to get it replaced. A week later no call, so I called them and after several tries got another appointment to come fix the regulator. This second appointment the tech apparently didnt have the correct parts to fix a Ford door and he was unable to fix the problem. Another appointment that I had to struggle to get and the tech manages to fix the regulator but then I tried to shut the door and somehow he managed to break the latching mechanism. I called safelite and got told "it isnt out problem, take it up with Ford. It is an electronic issue". Took it to Ford and they found a bound latch and damaged cable. Now safelite is unwilling to repay me for the repair. Long story short never again. 3 times I have had work done by this office and zero times has it happened smoothly. They want to claim that they werent given an option to fix the door and maybe so but no safelite tech will ever touch another vehicle in my home again. Taking this to the insurance company to see if they can be taken off the approved vendor list. This has been easily the worst service and experience I have had in any transaction ever. Go anywhere else. Not worth the trouble. Poor service, poor communication, poor workmanship and fighting me to not fix a problem they created. read more

Horrible experience overall, brought my jeep to get my drivers window fixed. Okay got that fixed, only to find out that they do not have the proper tools to prop my door panel out. After getting my car back, Safelite broke my lock button had to go get that fixed and when they were fixing my lock they noticed that safelite dent and chipped underneath my door panel. If I didn't bring my car in to get my lock fixed I would of never known about the damage under my door. I would have expected to get my car back in better condition, instead I got it back with a door that couldn't function. read more

Since my car is brand new, I had to start a claim with the extra warranty I purchased with the car and Safelite was the company they use. I was happy about this because I have used them in the past and they have done a great job and I like the fact that they drive to you. In this case I had to go to one of their locations, probably because I'm a little far out of the closest town and they needed to recalibrate the sensor in the window too. The job was done in about 2 hours and they gave me a can of amazing window cleaner. I didn't have any issues with them at all. The only think I noticed was that I was hearing a whistling when driving that wasn't there before. Before I washed my car, I checked out the window and notice a part of the lining wasn't pushed down all the way. I did it and it seems to be fine now. FYI: you cant wash your car for at least 2 days. Overall, I would recommend them. read more

Avoid this place at all cost. Safelite damaged my car badly when they were supposed to replace the rear windshield glass. They removed the window trim and after reinstallation it scraped against the trunk which deeply gouged the brand new paint down to metal. Then the scumbag slimeball manager Mark Plano told me it was previous damage. Not only did they chip up the paint on my car, they got black window sealer all over the place. This shop does horrible work and they messed up my brand new paint job. Take a look at the pictures I've uploaded for yourself. When dealing with the manager Mark and pointing out the damage that was done in his shop all he could say was, "We're not liable." He sounded like some sort of broken record, unable to prove he didn't do it. There was paint chips everywhere! This company doesn't give a crap about customers. Honestly he could have been a professional and taken responsibility, but instead he took the low road and lied about damaging my car. Now I have to take them to court to recover the money to repair my car. Safelite will cause you the biggest headache you've ever had if you decide to use them for glass replacement. read more

I was told upon getting a crack fixed (was tiny) it was guaranteed and they would fix it if it spread... Well it's spread a few months later to about 1" by 1" if that... And they won't fix it instead they want me to replace my entire windshield, really for a 1" crack that was just fixed a few months ago? I don't think so. Calling my insurance to complain about their preferred company and to see what can be done, I will NEVER use safelite again. My husbands needs replaced and I won't be using safelite, for that or to fix mine AGAIN. RUN FAR FAR FROM SAFELITE!! Customer service is good but if you have to replace your windshield over a chip they "fixed" only a few months after and the crack now is only 1" there is something wrong. They didn't even ask to see my car, they simply said I had to replace it. Now had they seen it and said something fine but over the phone.... NOPE RUN. Add in: I sent the BBB a complaint they called, they pre scheduled a appointment, seriously? DON'T SCHEDULE PEOPLE who don't want your services, and don't ever offer me simply $50 off a replacement for your mess up. HOW OFFENSIVE. read more

Service was quick but had to go back because the chip malfunctioned that controls the defrost on the windshield leaving me no heat in February. The tech said he keeps the chips a few days after because it happens so frequently. If it's a known problem, check it before it leaves so people don't need to drive an hour for a repair read more

Our brand new car got a large crack. Luckily we bought an extended warranty that covered windshield. Warranty company said go through dealership because only they can calibrate the sensors in the windshield and replace with factory glass. After a month of excuses from dealership and two appointments they scheduled where nothing could be done an appointment was made with safelite. They sounded confident on the phone right away. They said since the car is less than a year old insurance would replace with OEM, which they did. Safelite did all the sensor calibrating at their shop so I didn't have to deal with dealership again. Appointment took about an hour. Safelite delt with warranty company so I walked out without paying anything. The entire staff at Everett spoke with confidence and moved with intention. I wish I would have started with Safelite! read more

lover the course of two months, I had one appointment cancelled and the next was a no call/no show. Just awful.

So I had a couple of rock chips on my windshield. One was repairable but one had 1/2 inch long hairline cracks to either side of the chip. The tech said they couldn't repair any hairline cracks. My insurance recommended them as a preferred shop and I set up an appointment on line which was fine. I found on Safelite's own website that they can repair cracks up to 6 inches long. So, I'm guessing this shop choses not to do crack repairs because they don't get paid enough from the insurance companies to do them. This was a waste of time. read more

I recently got my 2016 Jeep Wranger's windshield repaired along with my 2008 Roush Mustang. I hate WA roads...damn rocks everywhere!! Anyway, Safelite repaired my chips which were quite obvious and minimized them to a blemish. Awesome repair and only took 30 mins per car. I highly recommend Safelite, especially the Everett location. Great service, friendly, and quick. Oh and their glass cleaner is awesome!! Best one I've used so far. read more

Called my insurance company to have what looked like a HUGE spider on my new car's (sad face) windshield repaired. Claims rep made an appt with Safelite the same day. Needless to say I was very nervous that it might not be repairable. Really didn't feel like having to fork out money for new windshield right after buying brand new car. Receptionist greeted me (I was 15 minutes early just because, well, wouldn't YOU be?) right away and was very friendly. Within few minutes tech came out and told me he would repair it, but wouldn't be able to make it totally disappear (another sad face). He also added there's a slight risk of totally cracking windshield. Really?? Please don't tell me that. Of course for the next half hour I listened for the sound of cracking glass. As I enjoyed my complimentary water and coffee (happy face). Half hour later tech drove car out. Receptionist handed me paperwork and a complimentary can of glass cleaner (insert another happy face) and I ran out to see results. One word. AMAZING!! Just a tiny dot remains where the spider once lived. Windows were cleaned all around car even. Couldn't contain my happiness and told tech he was a miracle worker! Needless to say I highly recommend this place. Everyone very friendly and service was fast. (Final happy face). Woohoo! read more
