Called my insurance company to have what looked like a HUGE spider on my new car's (sad face) windshield repaired. Claims rep made an appt with Safelite the same day. Needless to say I was very nervous that it might not be repairable. Really didn't feel like having to fork out money for new windshield right after buying brand new car. Receptionist greeted me (I was 15 minutes early just because, well, wouldn't YOU be?) right away and was very friendly. Within few minutes tech came out and told me he would repair it, but wouldn't be able to make it totally disappear (another sad face). He also added there's a slight risk of totally cracking windshield. Really?? Please don't tell me that. Of course for the next half hour I listened for the sound of cracking glass. As I enjoyed my complimentary water and coffee (happy face). Half hour later tech drove car out. Receptionist handed me paperwork and a complimentary can of glass cleaner (insert another happy face) and I ran out to see results. One word. AMAZING!! Just a tiny dot remains where the spider once lived. Windows were cleaned all around car even. Couldn't contain my happiness and told tech he was a miracle worker! Safelite appears to be very busy, but my appointment went without any problems and on time. What I need to share with everyone is that this occurred on 13 Aug 2021 where it has been required that everyone wear a mask when indoors, vaccination or not. What I did not understand it was it was documented online and at the location a mask requirement at the Everett site. However, when I entered (mask on) none of the office personnel wore their masks including what I believe to be the Supervisor. What is going on we are in a pandemic which has surged once more because people like this either no vaccination or wearing a mask to protect themselves and others. I guess they believe they have the freedom to infect others!!!! What an embarrassment and disregard to human life! read more

I had a really good experience with getting my windshield replaced with Safelight! Very friendly staff and I didn't wait a very long time for the repair to be done, about 1.5 hours. There is a Starbucks near by so I took my homework over there and time just flew by. My new windshield looks beautiful! There was a problem with one of the computers while I was paying and I ended up being charged an additional amount, I called customer service and they took care of the issue right away! The agent I spoke to was super friendly and did everything he could to fix the problem, didn't have to wait on hold for very long either. I used to use JN Phillips, and had a contact that did really good work. but Safelite bought them all out. In need of service today, my Insurance company patched me through to Safelite's call center to authorize repair for my car, and we agreed on a price for the glass made by the maker of my vehicle, which was a little over what my insurance would pay, which was fine. After taking the day off to facilitate the repair - after the beginning time of the window I was to wait for them, an unpleasant woman called me and told me that any conversation I had with the call center has nothing to do with their pricing, and that they weren't going to honor the price given. So - If I can't even believe the pricing, or the integrity of the people on the front line - I can be sure I can't trust the integrity of the rest of the company, the glass they make in house, or the installation itself. read more

On June 15 i had an appointment to have mobile replacement of my front windshield. No one showed no one called. I called they said someone would call. No one called. I got an email to reschedule got an appointment on the following Saturday for drop-off at the Everett shop on Everett Avenue. I dropped off at 9:30 and was told they would call when it was done. Got a call telling me that they couldn't replace the wiper blades because they were a special order from the dealer. I picked up my car at 4:45 that day. Everything looked right. It wasn't raining so never thought about seeing if wipers worked was glad to have a windshield without a crack. Next day turn on wipers and nothing they don't work. Of course, its Sunday and they aren't open. I saw the commercial on Tv to fix your windshields at Safelite their technicians are trained professionals! I would think twice before having them fix your windshield. read more

My car was broken into and I scheduled with Safelite for the next day. They wouldn't come to my zip code so I scheduled with my friends address who lives 45 minutes away. I left my house at 7 am with three kids and a newborn and drove without my window, waited at my friends house for two hours before they called and canceled my appointment stating their technician was sick. The customer service person on the phone was rude to me and they completed wasted my time! Extremely unprofessional company. Please go elsewhere for your auto glass needs. read more

We had an appointment set up. My wife and I drive separately to drop off her car because we were told it would take 3 hours. So after we got home we were called and said they have the wrong windshield! We drove back to Everett and took her car home. Now, I know mistakes happen but why didn't they wait until they were sure that the windshield was correct before we left? We received some sorry excuse about my car was made in 2018. They asked for our Vin# and they should of had the info they needed. Of course we had no apologies. Will not use them nor would I ever recommend them to anyone. read more

I've used this location twice now (unfortunately); once they came to our home and the other I went there (today). My husband interacted with the gentleman who came to our house so I'm not able to review the service other than saying the chip was a bit of a nasty one so even after being filled it is rather obvious. However, it had not gotten any bigger so the quality of the repair is good in my book. I wanted quicker service on our most recent chip so I went in (I was able to get an appointment today vs waiting until tomorrow or Friday). The woman working the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. I didn't engage with the gentlemen doing the work much but what little I did I was happy with. I can't speak to the longevity of the repair since it just happened today but it looks great. Most of the crack is not visible. Overall, I recommend this location. read more

I called their 800 number to get a quote and was referred to the Everett location. Not only did they get me into a next day appointment, but also offered a reduced price that was quoted on the internet. The location is clean and very welcoming. The waiting room offers, water, soda and coffee with a plethora of magazines and television to keep you busy. First off the customer service is spectacular and I felt as though I was home. My appointment was to last 90 minutes, but the guys rallied and got me out of the shop in 45 minutes. For a windshield replacement, that's quick and they warranty their work, so I'm a happy camper. Driving home it didn't look like I had a windshield, it was that clear. As a parting gift, I was given a bottle of glass cleaner and they sent me on my way. I have nothing but good things to say of my experience with Safelite. They make you feel comfortable and at home. A wonderful experience all around. read more

He got the window installed, but it gave him issues going all the way up. I arranged an online appointment to have a small crack in my windshield repaired on my 2017 Hyundai Tucson. I elected to have the repair conducted at my home rather than driving to the servicing office. The technician, Trinity, was very prompt, provided excellent customer service and did an excellent repair job. She even offered and then cleaned up some glue residue from the inside of the windshield that was let over from some tape that had been removed, although not very well. A young female driver with brown hair rushed up on me on the Old Snohomish Monroe Road at 9:30 this morning tailgating and swerving out to see if she could pass me several times. I was driving 5-10 over the limit myself and she was still on my a$$. She hopped on 522N toward to Woodinville. Probably late and driving like a jerk. Then to reach a human with their business. Im impressed w their service. I had a mercedes Benz 2010 c 300 made in Germany w the original Pelkington glass on it and I had long crack. Contacted the dealer who quoted a high price to install the same glass. Looked over eBay to purchase used OEM German glass w sticker. I also browsed several local stores. I got safelite mobile service and I'm quiet impressed they were able to get the exact same glass w serial number and bar code and the Mercedes engraving. The tech was highly skilled and he did a great job. Bottom line: if you are a perfectionist ask for their OEM brand for your car. They will give you the dealer product w way lower price and they have contactless service. I highly recommend them for high end/ German cars like Mercedes and BMW. They are good w rain sensors, steering lane assist and so forth!!!! read more

Over a week for an appointment, and over $400. First technician came and gone on the original appointment. I left my car home all day while I was working. Let the operator know what was goin on day of and prior to my appointment. She was kind and told me everything would be taken care of. Nothing. Next day I call up ( oh and every time you call you are on hold for 30mins) rescheduled. And was told I'd get a phone call. But this morning no phone call, apparently he knocked at my door at 930am. I didn't hear that, but I did have my phone on my pillow. I woke up and got a text saying dudes on his way... waited. Nothing. Called back. Sat on hold. Lady connected me to the tech. He said he would be by in a hour. He did, and again he knocked on my door (more like pounded) asked for my keys. I told him he wouldn't need them, its unlocked and window is a manual. This company boasts on how easy, and worry free you will be when you hire them to fix your window. However I have not has that experience. I feel ripped off and pissy about the whole ordeal. There is definitely a better company to go through than Safelight. read more

Right off the bat the guy walks up and says "just to let you know. I may crack your windshield". It took him literally 2 mins to turn a less than dime sized rock chip into a crack that extends from the top to the bottom. Now my "free" repair is costing us $500!! Instead of using a drill to release pressure he used a hammer to tap the windshield which is what caused the issue. Welll, of course it's going to crack when you hit it with a hammer! I cannot say it enough, stay away from this company unless you want to pay $500 out of pocket. EDIT...in 30 yrs of driving and rock chips, never have I had a company do this to my car so the business mgr can "poopoo" what we say all they want but this is not acceptable or the "norm". read more

This is the second windshield I have had replaced by Safelite. First time, I chose the mobile, they replace at my home option. This time, I took my vehicle into the Everett location. The shop was too booked to make an appointment during the day so I chose the leave it overnight option to get it done as quickly as I could. Through a chain of circumstances, I arrived at their location hours early and ask if there was any chance they could do it sometime today so I didn't have to return for it tomorrow. They worked hard to fit me into their already fully booked schedule. Thanks to the office person, manager and the excellent work of their technician, I was driving home by 3. I can't say enough good about these folks. Need a windshield? No point looking elsewhere. read more

Called to make appointment for windshield replacement. The earliest appointment was 2 weeks out. The day they were coming out I got a email stating the appointment was cancelled with no details. So I called Safelite and sat on hold for 30 min. Then they told me it would be another 4 days before they can come out. read more

I had 2 Windows needing replaced. I went online and scheduled an appointment. I was the 1 st appointment of the day and I was 15 minutes early. They saw I was there and opened the store early. They said it would take 1 hour for both and right they would have been done, except they found the window gears was broken. My car was vandalized and this was the reason for the work. They advised me they could fix it and it would be another hour. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. They are the best at what they do and would recommend to anyone who needs auto glass repair. Update: I recently needed a new piece of glass on another vehicle I own, and when making the claim with my insurance company, they tried to schedule the appointment with Safelite, to which I declined. I explained my recent experience with the Everett shop, and that they will not be doing any future glass repair for me. The insurance rep informed me that they have a lifetime warranty on any materials, through my insurance company, and set up an appointment for Safeflite to come and replace the windshield that I referenced in my previous review. The technician arrived the next morning, replaced the windshield and was on his way. Safelite didn't want to take care of it initially, but the insurance company applied pressure on them and made them make it right. Based on the overall experience, I still think my business will go elsewhere in future repairs. read more

Don't think much of their quality of work Had two windscreens replaced at the same time. Had to take one of them back to get the trim that was coming away after a few months and now the second one is doing the same thing after less than a year. Looking at them side by side, same model car but I am not sure the replacements were put in correctly since the gaps and depths of the two are different. Mumbles from the staff about a certain installer makes me think they had a QA issue with that person but did nothing to have their work checked Sorry but hard to recommend this shop read more

Had my windshield replaced from my insurance company. My appointment window was 8-12. He arrived at 12:40 and didn't even apologize for being late. It took about an hour. This was my second scheduled appointment-first time they didn't arrive. Then after replacing the molding around the windshield was coming off so I called warranty services and they scheduled a time for 4:30 at my house. The service guy said he needed a two hour window-which is the time I am at work then leaving work. I told him I needed a later window and he said I was his last appointment for the day and he couldn't wait that long. He texted me at 1:47 that he needed directions. I got the message an hour later since I am at work. I texted him immediately and asked if he could come now..no response. I will definitely be calling my insurance company! Not happy! read more

What I loved about Safelite was my ability to make an appointment quickly. Not only did I receive a confirmation about the appointment, but a reminder with my technicians name and a customer service number if needed. My technician was prompt, professional, and very helpful to provide me with instructions, the warranty information verbally and in writing, and a free gift for using Safelite. Not even sure where to start! We have used this company many times in the past but this last time is by far the worst experience I've ever had. The tabs on my daughter's trim around her windshield were broken by one of the technicians prior to this replacement and they just used adhesive to re attach it to the car. When we needed another replacement the new tech said if the trim seemed like it was going to come off to call and let them know they would replace it as part of their warranty work. We had to call the next day (why wouldn't he have just ordered it?) and they said they would order it, they then called and set up a repair appointment. They were over an hour late arriving, stayed for 30 seconds..just long enough to say that they needed to order the part??? What?? It was supposed to have already been ordered and this was a repair appointment. So a week and a half goes by and I get a call from their shop asking what the problem was with the windshield...they had no idea what they were supposed to be ordering? I explained what happened (annoyed already) and she promised to order it and it would only take a couple of days. I wait 9 days and call to ask the status and I was told it was already in the shop and was just sitting around so she makes an appointment to send a technician out to fix it (no apology for the mix ups). Today, the technician shows up at the school my daughter teaches at and calls her out to let her know that he will put in an order for new trim??????? WHAT?! A third technician and a phone call and the part is still not there?? I will never us this company again, no apologies from a single person I've had to talk to and they can't even make this right. In the meantime my daughters 2014 Focus has no trim on her windshield. read more

I got a quote and an appointment set up online for a windshield replacement on a 2017 Impreza. After going in the shop and dropping off my car I was never warned about any issues. I got a call an hour and twenty minutes later saying that they can not replace my windshield, they informed me they do not have the correct windshield to be able to replace my broken one. So, in that hour and twenty minutes they took off my cracked windshield to put it back on which is now cracked more than beforehand and has big gaps at the bottom where the trim is supposed to cover the windshield. They told me sorry there isn't anything we can do. Now I have to buy a factory windshield because it's a brand new car (even though this information was included in my quote online) and get my windshield replaced again but it will cost me twice as much and the factory windshield is back ordered so it could be months... All in all, I don't know if my windshield is going to leak because they left the gaps, it's hard to drive my car because there is a crack going right through my line of vision, the work is going to cost me twice as much because Safelite's quoting is not accurate and misleading. read more

I got two chips fixed and within 2-3 months, one of the chips shattered across the windshield. I now have to pay for a new windshield.

We've had the worst experience with Safelite Auto Glass. I had to schedule a repair to fill in a chip 2 weeks out. Then they failed to correctly repair the rock chip, which led to a huge crack. They lost my insurance information. Then they refused to take responsibility for the failed repair and tried to charge me $200 more to replace the windshield then their competitors. Had a 9:30 am appointment. Check in with the receptionist at 9:30 am.... 40 minutes later the receptionist says oh my goodness, there was a miscommunication between her and the technician. The tech came and check out the car and then quoted me another 45-50 minutes to get it repaired. The receptionist originally quoted me 30-40 minutes when I arrived giving me plenty of time to get to my office in Seattle. After the inconvienaince of the miscommunication of the receptionist, I am now going to be late to a business meeting. Very disappointed in their customer service. I prepaid over the phone to expedite the service but ended up staying allot longer then what was promised. Going to bad mouth this company to my associates, friends and family.
