I chose Safelite because how easy it was to navigate their website and get a reasonable quote. I chose this location because of the reviews I save on Yelp compared to other locations. I was not disappointed. The front desk was very thorough and the job was done as describe. They were even nice enough to put all my stickers back in place (registration, inspection, work and maintenance and even hung my dash cam). I choose Safelite because they were the preferred repair facility for my insurance company. I made an appointment for 10:00am. I arrived at 9:30am and checked in. The receptionist said I was early, he took my keys and said it would be about an hour and a half. The waiting area and bathroom was clean. There was a large flat screen with the news on as well as complementary coffee. At 10:00am (my appointment time) my car was brought in to the service bay. At 11:00am the receptionist said my car was ready. Happy with the on time service and clean facilities! read more

I was totally thrown for a loop. I got way more than I bargained for with your company. I had to move my car for the representative, Spencer, to a more appropriate area for him to work in. When he was finished and called me to come outside of my job not only had he parked my car back in the original spot but my whole interior looked like new. Front windshield replaced by technician Wilson at my home. I was told appointment was between 8am-12pm. Rain was starting to clear up about ten after 8 and he called to ask if it was ok to come by, he showed up exactly when he said he would, he was professional, friendly and efficient & showed up with a smile and a wave as he pulled up. I am totally happy with the service I received. So, I had an appointment with Safelite AutoGlass in Freeport to have my windshield replaced. I used the online service due to COVID concerns at most businesses today. It took almost 10 days to find an available opening for this service. I answered all the questions pertaining to my vehicle. There was a the usual year, make , model and then the question of, do you have Lane Departure System. I answered no, as i do not have this feature in my car. I confirmed my information an appointment which was 04/06/2021 At 3pm. I arrived early as they called me and said they had a cancellation. I did not pre -pay since I do not believe you should pay for this type of service until it's satisfactory and complete. As I was about to leave ( I was not waiting for the car). The manger started shouting and waving the invoice. I said, what's up. He stated in a condescending tone that he cannot do the job, he has the wrong windshield. He then tells me, you have lane departure in this car. I stated again, I do not. Ok, well you have the camera for it. i say, ok. Well now what. He then gets an attitude and says, I will have to order another windshield.. I say, ok, let's do that. He then tells me, I can't get you back in until at least April 19th or later. The crack goes across the entire windshield so, I say, that's no good. How can it take so long. The answer, well I'm entirely booked up until then. I then explain, well it's not my fault you have the wrong windshield, I followed you instructions on the website. He then states, I'll just cancel it then. So, they don't follow up with a call to confirm car info or maybe just maybe, a vin to confirm equipment. So, I go to the back of the line again for their own failure. It's all fine. I would not go back to such an unprofessional business with a manger that acted like he was doing me a favor. I had the new windshield installed today at a local shop in ValleySteam . Not only was it over 100.00 dollars cheaper but the owner told me, you do have the camera but since the lane departure feature isn't activated on the car, there is no need for calibration. I tell this long story because people should know when a business treats people like there bothering them. I suggest you find a job you like since it was such an unpleasant experience for you. I also highly suggest checking out the smaller businesses out there. They seem to go the extra mile and truly appreciate their customers. By the way, I couldn't even book a mobile appointment with safelite. There were none available at all. My experience, a big waste of time! But lesson learned. read more

Had 11am appointment. Got there and they didn't have all the parts which they said would be on the later delivery truck. Offered me a ride home but had the wife come and get me. Car was still done by 1:40. Only problem is that a set screw on the rear view mirror must have been loosened so it doesn't stay where I put it. While driving I got a crack in my windshield about the size of a nickel. Next day I spoke with a Safelite Rep, she explained all of my options and made certain I understood the process. When I went to the Freeport location, the technician inspected the crack and explained that he would do everything he could to fix the crack, but the process is not flawless, and I would still see the crack. When he was finished and showed me the final product I was speechless. I couldn't find the crack, the technician had to point out a tiny little speck the size of a small grain of rice. It was a bad weekend for me when I found out my rear windshield was smashed in. (Long story) I looked online for the best place I can go to get my rear window replaced asap. I found this location online and quickly got a quote that was reasonable. I scheduled a appointment and when I arrived I was told I selected the front windshield instead of the rear, Dummy! So the associate said "not a problem, we will order a new glass and have it by this afternoon." The guys took the garage bag that I taped on my car and vacuumed the glass that was around the window and inside then put a clear wrap on instead. Because I had to run for work and it would of been too much to head back to this location to get the job done I asked if they would be able to send the glass to a different location. The answer was yes and I got a appointment for the same day 10 minutes away from my job. Very convenient and friendly staff. Thanks guys. read more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I had a shattered window in my 2017 Lexus RX350. Scheduled an appointment and they came to my house to repair. I was told they did not have the right tool to take my door apart and they had to bring my car to the Freeport location to finish the job. When I arrived they put an aftermarket window in my car without my permission but that was just scratching the surface. My door leather was shredded from them trying to pry it apart with the wrong tool, and the window switch cover was broken from again trying to pry the door apart with the same wrong tool. Not only this, the window would not roll up. If I hadn't turned on the car to check everything out I would have never realized this because they managed to get the window up for when I picked it up. This was never told to me and in my opinion an attempt to get over on me. When I shut the back door with frustration, I heard broken glass rattling around inside the door. Another sloppy job. I am now waiting for someone to contact me in regards to when they will schedule to repair all the damages they have caused. DO NOT USE THEM & SAVE YOURSELF A TON OF AGGREVATION! read more

I had my cracked front passenger car window fixed. I called and had the work done within one week. I could have had it done faster but they worked around my schedule and the car was drive able until the work was done.
