He was able to vacuum out broken glass, replace the window, and return the vehicle exactly to the condition it was before the window was broken in the first place. I would highly recommend this service to friends and family based off of the quality delivered by Jamal. UPDATE: I ended up taking my car to the dealership to have the windshield replaced correctly and with the correct part. The dealership let me know that the glass was not set correctly and that air was coming through at the bottom. To top it off, Safelite (technician was Jamal) broke the Cover Assembly for the Multi Censor that protects the camera and my safety features. They didn't push 4 clips in to remove it but instead ripped it off and broke all of the clips. I was wondering why the plastic piece was hanging down when I left but guess that is why. Safelite is completely incompetent and I would suggest taking your car somewhere reputable if you would like it fixed correctly. read more

**Review:** I had an extremely disappointing experience with Safelite's glass replacement service. The entire process was a nightmare from start to finish. After they replaced my windshield, I had to return three times because they didn't put the paneling together properly and left broken glass all over my car. Adding to the frustration, I had to wait 10 minutes after their scheduled opening time because the employees were late to their shift. The replacement process, which was quoted to take 2 hours, ended up taking a staggering 3.5 hours. Overall, the service was unprofessional and highly inefficient. I should have checked the reviews on Yelp before scheduling the appointment. The technician was running late so I had to cancel the appointment. I call to reschedule it and the email confirmation showed me a balance of extra $63. I called Safelite 3 time before to be able to reach somebody. They told me that the extra cost was for the wipers replaced. That was not correct since what I pay was for a new set of wipers too. No sense arguing on the phone about that. Extremely easy and quick service. I scheduled an appointment here to replace my windshield. I did it online and my insurance was checked as part of the process. I even picked my appointment date online too. On the day before my appointment I received emails, texts, and a phone call as reminders to go in. The woman was extremely nice and even rechecked with the dealership to confirm they had the correct replacement after I had a few questions about the fit. I dropped my car off at 8:30 Saturday morning and by 10 I received a text it was done. All was covered by my insurance. I'd use them again. read more

I should have listened to my gut. I first made my appointment last week, on-line, for next day service and for some reason I just knew I should call them and verify that they had my windshield in stock, because I drive a not so normal car. So when I called in to verify that they had my correct glass in stock - the operator didn't see my appointment - it was because the particular location had CANCELLED my appointment WITHOUT letting me know this. At that point I should have ran far far away, but I figure "hey that is ok, just go ahead and order it and lets schedule the appointment for next week". This was my mistake for thinking that competency might survive this transaction. Boy was I WRONG. I showed up 15 minutes ahead of my appointed time of 1pm - now granted this was right in the middle of my day and that put a damper on my schedule but I, after all, was the one who accepted that time and day. My choice, so no biggie right. All I had to do was to drop it off and all would be fine... or so you might think. An hour after dropping my car off - I received a text message from the tech stating that they replacement glass was broken and that I would need to reschedule yet again, for the following week. It was at this point that I responded and requested as to what their plans were to make this right (see attached image), and of course there was no response. When I showed up to pick-up my unrepaired vehicle, I asked again what the plans were to get this done properly as well as to why they kept my appointment on the books even though they didn't have a proper replacement in stock, yet again. And here is the best/worst part - I was told that they DO NOT INSPECT THE GLASS UNTIL THE CUSTOMER HAS SHOWN UP FOR THE APPOINTMENT - they said "we just don't have the time to check the glass before you get here" - I asked if they thought that I had the time to make 3 appointments and to waste 2 full days and 6 hours of my time, because it would seem that clearly their time is more valuable than that of their customers" - I was told that "it is what it is", and "there are plenty of other companies that replace windshields so perhaps I should try them instead" - Yes, rather than apologizing for the inconvenience, or offering a solution, which could have been an offer to come to my office or home next week to do the replacement (especially since they do offer this as a service already), the manager Missy suggested that I take my business elsewhere - WHAT A JOKE. In short - if you value your time, your money, or any type of customer service PROCEED WITH CAUTION AND BE AWARE. When I asked for my key back, they handed it through the window and then slammed the window shut. One of the customers who observed the interaction congratulated and thanked me for speaking up and telling the truth. He explained that he is a truck driver and the same issue has happened to him before resulting in him having to make several appointments, which is extremely challenging for him considering his travel schedule for work. Apologies are free to give. And an offer to give a solution would have gone a long way. I'm taking the time to write this review because as a population, we MUST SPEAK UP, WE MUST CHOSE WITH OUR DOLLARS, because clearly human decency is not enough of reason to do the right thing anymore. I have to remind myself that some people are fine being average, or below. I value my time and I work hard for my money, as most of us do. Therefore, to continue to employee and to do business with these people is something I can no longer feel good agreeing to. Let me share my experience. My tint shop suggested I repair a small chip in my windshield before I get a tint. So I setup a claim with my insurance company. The appointment for Safelite to come out was schedule for July 3. July 3: 8-1 pm. //at 2 pm I called because no one had shown up. Customer care tried to call the tech three times but he didn't answer. They then called the shop twice, but guess what? They didn't answer either. So the rep suggested sending an email to the location management to reach out to me to reschedule. Odd, but okay. At 5 pm they call me and apologize. We reschedule for July 8. July 8: 8-1pm //tech arrives and is friendly and begins working. Then a few minutes later he calls me and says the small chip can't be repaired so he suggested a replacement. Okay, I understand. No fuss. He says he'll call the shop and cancel the work order so they can then call to reschedule me for a replacement. Less than 30 min later, I get called back, and we're rescheduled for July 11. July 11: 8-1pm //tech arrives on time and begin working on the car and replacing it. After 2 hours he calls me and states "everything went well until the end" and asks to meet outside. He told me during the recalibration process, he must have installed the rear view camera wrong because it fell down, so it fell calibration. And after speaking to his manager, they have to install another windshield (than the one he just installed) because, he installed the wrong one. I ask how soon will this be, because this is my last week working from home. He says it won't be for another 7 days because the type of glue they use to stick the glass, takes at least a week to cure. If they remove it sooner, the glue will smear and get on the car's metal and can't be removed. So now, I'm rescheduled for July 17. Here's a kicker. The following day (July 12) the tech that came the previous day called me because he states he thinks he left his work tablet and calibration tool in my car. He needed me to check. He stopped by and grabbed them. I'm polite enough. But wow. Did I know a tiny crack would spread to four visits (so far), going on a fifth? Nope. Update: after 10 days, Safelite still couldn't get an undamaged windshield for my vehicle. I called another company yesterday (7/30), and they were out today (7/31) and replaced it. Sounds like you have an issue with getting windshields in, Safelite. And you lost business because of it. As of right now, my appointment has been rescheduled a second time. The first time was the day before my first appointment when they called me and told me the windshield arrived damaged, so a new one had to be ordered. Fast forward to new appointment time (today, 7/25/2024) and my window of 1-6pm. No call, no text from technician, just a text after 4pm that I was rescheduled AGAIN! I had to call twice to get someone on the phone who told me my replacement windshield hadn't arrived yet. You didn't know that this morning? You didn't know that at 1pm? You couldn't CALL me to tell me and find out when I could reschedule? No, you couldn't and didn't. First and foremost, my appointment was at 1 pm. The tech never called and he pulled in my driveway at 4 pm. While exiting the vehicle, he was chewing and spitting some type of seed, in his mouth. You didn't remove the rubber molding, how do you see rust? Nevermind, okay. My wife had me contact AutoGlass on GA 85 in Riverdale, GA. They replaced my windshield with no problems today, no rust. I am beyond disappointed and frustrated with this company! Went in August 4 for total windshield replacement. They called me 1.5 hours after dropping it off to inform me that my windshield was not in stock. (This appointment was made over a week before, they had plenty of time to order!) I had to leave my car there and they would replace the next day. I picked it up around noon the next day (8/5) after they informed me it was ready. The technician was not available to check me out or show my anything so the lady at the checkout window did. I assumed everything was fine and a quality job was done. Since it was the weekend, my car stayed garaged until Monday. It just so happened to rain that day and my automatic wipers did not turn on, so i turned them on manually. Once the rain stopped, I decided to see if they would turn on with the wiper fluid. My wiper fluid was squirting out from under my hood!! I opened the hood to find out my wiper line had been sliced in half when they removed my old windshield. Then, went inside my car to find my rain sensor under my rear view mirror was not ever attached! I called the warranty number and was able to get a person at corporate to issue a warranty repair for a new sensor and new wiper fluid hose to be installed. I then had to take time out of my schedule on 8/17 to have them repair/replace under the warranty. Well, the technician came out to review everything they needed to do, took my car back and work on it. I did not have to wait too long before he came out to show me everything was done. The sesor was reattached not replaced and he told me that my sensor was turned on with my wiper switch (which I told I knew this...I've had my car for 7 years so I know how it works!). I told him, yes, I had to turn it off because it would not work and would go off sporadically. He said it was fixed now. THEN, he shows me my fluid line and told me they couldn't replace it because it was a dealer item (!!!) so they used mastic to seal it together and he swore that it was not electrical tape and it would hold. Well, guess what...it's leaking and not working again and my sensor is sporadic and goes off when it is not even raining! So, I have tried calling both corporate and this location and no answers at all. I've had to leave messages and many emails and absolutely no return calls or even an acknowledgement. I ended up making a warranty appointment online for tomorrow! I received a text reminding me of my appointment and a number to call. Finally i got ahold of someone and told her my frustration and concern. They are to call me tomorrow morning to verify that the part is in so I do not make another wasted trip. Because of the pandemic, I had to wait until it was safe enough to get it done. When I finally got the heads up to go, I went for it. The available slot was perfect for me to get the job done. I booked online and went the following Friday morning to drop off the car. It was pricey but I gotta do it. You have to wear masks inside the building. A technician came out and said it will be ready in 2-3 hours and they would give me a call. Ten minutes passed and technician called to tell me that the windshield I needed would be half the price! My experience was completely awful. They canceled my appointment 4 times, and two of those times were day bf my appointment. They ordered the wrong part 2 times. On the day of my appointment, I arrived 10 mins passed my appointment time. Most of that time, I was standing in the line. The receptionist explained to me that they had a grace period of 15 minutes. I said ok. I arrived at 9:40, in line at 9:43. I asked to check cameras since they allowed a drop-off service, and he said cameras don't work. I asked to speak to the supervisor, and he said he's not here he had to go pick up, son. I asked for grace, considering you canceled on me 4 times, which I took off work, lost wages, and had to pay an extra month on my leased car waiting on you. He said it wouldn't be fair to other clients, I said, "Was it fair to me? And you would not have taken my car back there in 2 minutes. An awesome technician, Wayne Jenkins, heard me, communicated well, and had my window out in 45 minutes. I didn't even have a chance to call my husband to pick me and our two kids up. Never expect quality especially from Safelite Auto glass. While I drove away thinking WOW this was easy after handing them my credit card for a $1,200 new windshield. My after market drive camera dropped from the windshield thus far and no matter what I do will not adhere. Now 8 weeks later and sending them a note to justify the issue and no response. I have now spent $$ on mounting adhesive none which have taken as the technician broke the back of the mounting bracket and I tried my best not to complain as the location is 24 miles from my home. Unfortunately I feel others need to be informed and inspect every item attached to the windshield before departing. I had other various items that allowed auto access to that windshield and did not realize until it all came home. I may have a warranty but that will be the last $$ with this organization. Absolutely horrible company, first they take my appointment to replace the windshield on my 04 corvette on site, after two days they call and say it cant be done on site and I need to bring it in, also the appointment needs to be pushed back as the glass they had in stock had been broken. I want to save flight in georgia on jimmy carter boulevard. I talked to someone on the phone, and they told me the services that I was getting was the premium plan. It came with premium windshield wipers.All three I have an s u v. Some ranx on the windshield and the crack to be fixed in my windshield. When I left, I was out of two hundred and forty dollars, my windshield was still cracked and they told me there's nothing they can do about it. Also, they replaced only the 2 front windshield wipers. After looking over some of their reviews, I was skeptical about using Safelite to replace my front windshield, but I'm definitely glad I did. Last week, I set up an appointment to have a technician come to my workplace. The technician, Daniel, called me twice to let me know when he was on the way and when he was arriving. Once he got there and got prepared, it started to slightly drizzle, in which he told me that he wouldn't be able to replace the windshield in the rain unless we have some type of covering. Fortunately enough, the Safelite shop was five minutes away from me. Once I got there, it took between 30-45 minutes for Daniel to complete this task. I was out of there with time to spare to grab some lunch on the way back to the office. Safelite even worked with my insurance, so I had No Deductible! Really glad I went here! Do Yourself a Favor - Stay Away From This Business! If you're considering taking your car to Safelite AutoGlass in Norcross for repairs, please read this review so you understand up front how they operate. This business has very poor management, their workmanship is not consistent, and they are very inconsiderate of their customer's time. Last January, I brought my Mercedes in to have the rear passenger window replaced due to a break-in. An older guy, who looked like he had a lot of experience, worked on my car. When he was finished, I checked it over, paid the bill, and gave him a tip for doing a great job. (Note: there is a window between the waiting room and the shop so you can watch the technicians working on your car). Last Saturday, I brought my 4Runner in to have the windshield replaced and was not happy with the results. The guys who did the work were young - they were careless with my car and did sloppy work. They chipped the paint in several places, and one of the molding pieces doesn't fit right because the guy damaged it when he yanked it off the car (I saw him do it). Also, there was a lot of excess adhesive on the car body around the windshield. When they were finished with my car, I met one of the technician around front to look it over and pay - I told him I was not happy with their workmanship. Basically, he argued with me and gave me a bunch of excuses why the job should be acceptable. I was caught off-guard by all this and didn't handle the situation the way I should have. I was expecting my car to look good, pay the bill and be out of there, but this was not the case. I asked him numerous times about the excess adhesive on the body, and he just kept saying, "That will come off." He never once said anything about them taking it off for me, he just kept repeating himself, "That will come off." He must have said it at least 6 times! The molding on the passenger side of the windshield looks good, but the piece on the driver's side has a bulge and a large gap. Once again, we went back and forth - I told him it didn't look right and he kept repeating himself, "That's how it went back in. It's ok." When I refused to go along with his argument, he said, "Well, this is an older car." He repeated that numerous times. I wasn't expecting all this drama and it completely caught me off-guard. In hindsight, I should have asked to speak to a manager and refused to pay until they fixed these issues, but I had been there for over 3 hours and needed to leave because I had someone waiting on me, so I paid and left. What the technician was basically saying is that because it's an older car, I shouldn't expect the work to look perfect. That is B.S. because I have another 2003 4Runner just like this one and Gerber Collision replaced the windshield 2 years ago and it looks really good - there are no chips in the paint, they didn't leave excess adhesive all over the place, and both of the side moldings look great. In the past 12 months, I've taken 2 cars to this shop for glass replacements. Both times, I made an appointment, drove out to the shop, sat in the waiting room for over an hour, only to be told they didn't have the correct glass for my car and I would have to come back. Evidently, this problem is very common with Safelite. While I was there last Saturday, the same thing happened to a woman who had been in the waiting room for over an hour. I spoke to another woman who said this was her second trip - she left her car there for 4 hours, received several text messages that they were working on it, and then a message that it was finished and ready for pick-up. When she returned to the shop, she said her car was still parked where she left it, and nothing had been done. I made 2 trips to this place, spent over 3 hours there on Saturday, and the work they did was shoddy. When I call they tell me it will be a week later. Once the repair was complete, the door would not open. When I called the tech to let them know, they told me to go straight to the repair shop location to have it fixed. I show up after driving 30 minutes for them to tell me I need an appointment and the repairmen are at lunch. They start to shame the tech that told me to come in. I am having a terrible experience with Safe lite. My car window was broken due to vandalism. I originally had an appointment to get it replaced on September 20. They rescheduled me two times prior for whatever reason. They get here and don't have the correct window. They then scheduled me for the 28th and was supposed to bring the window again. It got rescheduled to October 4. They get here and guess what the same issue. They didn't have the right size window. This has been a pain and I am suffering more with Safe lite than I did when my car was broken into. I scheduled a windshield repair and was told my appointment was from 1-6 Friday. The technician was kind enough to call me at 3 and tell me I was 6th on his list and he would be there close to 5:30. At 5, he called to tell me that my windshield would take 4.5 hours and he wasn't going to come after all. Lol. Great waste of time but I will not be dumb enough to use them again. I guess the guy was going to hang out at my house until 10:30 at night. WASTE!!! read more

I had a small rock that hit my window and made a mark the size of a dime or smaller. I didn't want it to spread so through my insurance they suggested Safelite but stated I could choose who ever made me comfortable. I was ok with Safelite because they replaced my front windshield on my Escalade and side view mirror on another Escalade which I have no problems out of any of them. The representative that came out was very professional, very personable, and very knowledgeable. He did the work told me when he was finished and what I could expect. Also, if I had any issue to give them a call. I am satisfied with Safelite products and service. read more
