I was estimating to wait 2-3 hours but didn't have to wait long at all. Total cost was closer to $750 but with insurance, I paid $500. I had a great experience with this Safelite location. I noticed a large crack on my windshield on Sunday and they were able to get me in at my preferred time on Tuesday to replace it. Booking online was also very convenient. The service was quicker than expected and they worked easily with my insurance. Dealing with them was pretty simple. I was able to schedule my appointment online and choose to go there to have it done or for about $20 more I could have them come to me. The soonest to have them come to me was going to be about a week away. I was nervous the crack was going to spread so I scheduled to go there. I got a same day appointment. The service was fast from when I walked though the door. It felt like I wasn't there long at all. The guy did a great job on the car. You can barely notice the damage. But they refused to recalibrate my car because it's 0.6 of an inch lower than factory. even though I informed them the car is lowered and they still took my car in then called later saying they won'. now I have to drive around with the code on my screen that won't come off. With paying the price of higher than local busines, this is terrible. read more

Wasted 5 hours at this location 1st glass had a huge SCRATCH!! Why would they put that on the car? This was notice by a 2nd tech while in the parking lot. They had to return to get a replacement. I tried calling and could not get through to a person, the recording stated that all appointments had to be made online. No Way. My repair man told me I "might" be left with a blemish when repairing a chip in my windshield. Fine. I knew it wasn't going to look brand new. When he was finished, he didn't show me his work. It was very much, hand over your credit card and out you go. On my way home I noticed that the chip wasn't at all a "blemish" but rather .. a chip just poorly filled with the white filling substance, looking way worse than it was before. On top of that, there is now a giant scratch across the windshield that wasn't there before. I could have done better with a $10 kit. I plan on calling and getting a refund and not referring anyone to Safelite because, while the front desk woman was extremely nice, I felt the whole process was rushed and I was just a number and now my car, that is only 6 months old, looks worse than when I took it in. read more

I've had numerous run-ins with rocks over the years and these guys always do a fine job in patching me up or replacing the windshield completely. Last week was my latest incident with a rock. It took three tries to get my windshield replaced due to weather and the company getting the wrong windshield. They completely waived my deductible because of this. Couldn't be happier. If you need your windshield replaced or repaired, don't bother comparing other companies. Just go with Safelite. They are the go-to company for most insurance companies, so that should speak volumes. read more

I have a Chrysler 300 with collision avoidance and adaptive cruise control. The scheduling of a replacement windshield in my driveway was very easy. Unfortunately they do not tell you anywhere that they are not replacing the windshield with a generic, NOT OEM, windshield. When they were done, the collision avoidance system no longer worked, and they could not get it to work. The technician admitted that they have had the problem before with safely features such as collision avoidance, and have had to replace the new windshield with an OEM windshield. Their "fix" was to have me take the car an hour and half away to their "guru" at their store to get it aligned properly. As that would iinevitably mean most of a day shot, I chose to drop if off at the nearest Chrysler dealer and have them fix it. Fortunately the insurance company agreed to pay the bill. If I have another broken windshield, I will take to a local shop where I can leave it and get it done correctly without losing a day's work. And I did not appreciate the fact that nowhere on their website do they indicate they are not replacing windshields with OEM products. read more

my cracked winsheld was replaced quickly but my issue is with the windshield wipers that were strongly recommended I purchase by the technician that came out to do the repair. After a hard sell, I got the wipers but after 6.5 months they aren't working well. They didn't even make it thru one winter. Safelite apparently only has a 6 month warranty on them which he failed to mention. Dont fall for the wiper sales pitch when they replace your windshield, it's money wasted! read more

The service we received the day they came to change the glass was superior! Sadly there was a mix up with my first appointment so they never came. My second appointment was confirmed at 7:30am. At 9am I got a call stating the glass was broken and they would need to reschedule. I don't know why you would confirm an appoinment that day without first checking the glass first. Really Safelite? That's almost all the effort I want to give this review. For the most part - the staff here is friendly and willing to answer your questions. Attention to detail? Not so much. I went in to have my windshield on my (not even three month old) Altima repaired yesterday morning and was told it wasn't going to happen. While dissapointing and not Safelite's fault, I was still sad. That being said they did not have time available for the replacement and I was told I would have to wait a considerable amount of time or I could come back later in the day. I came back at 2pm the same day & surprise! The windshield they wanted to replace mine with was broken... "sorry, you'll have to come back tomorrow." So, I traveled there this morning - and when the technician came out to do the preinspection I thought he was joking when he said, "we have some bad news." Turns out - the shipment was never delivered and I would have to wait YET AGAIN (not to mention drive another 60 miles roundtrip) to come back when they could get the windshield in. I nearly threw a fit. The manager came out and was nice enough to say that he was having someone drive a windshield up from Akron for me. Unfortunately my hour and a half wait turned into nearly two and a half hours. Aside from that Safelite used a PGW replacement and not Pilkington which I thought was unfortunate. The "shade" line at the top of my windshield is almost nonexistant and you can see right through it. I miss my factory windshield. If I ever need another one (god forbid) I don't know that I will return here unless I'm forced. As for the parking - there's enough, as for the waiting room - it's small, not climate controlled and had baby spiders running around everywhere, ew! Mobile service next time, for sure. read more

Just an update because we had a little chip in our windshield repaired yesterday. The staff is professional, from the woman at the office who called to confirm the appointment to the technician (Keith) who worked on our car. Our window was 8-1. Yikes. We figured it would probably not be until at least 10. But at 7:53, Keith called to give us a heads up that he was about 20 minutes away. Great!!! Like I said in my first review of Safelite, this is unheard of!!! He was upfront about what was to be done and did the job within 20 minutes. It was so easy. And of course the best part was that they came to the house. Best customer service and overall satisfaction from any car-related service I've had in Cleveland. read more

Safelite DOESN'T repair. Safelite DOESN'T replace. Safelite DOESN'T show up to the appointment...Safelite DOESN'T get my business anymore. I easily made an appointment online for a crack in my windshield to be repaired. I chose the available time slot of 8am to 12pm for a few days later. I received several emails and a text to remind me of my appointment and also changed my work schedule to fit in their time slot. The morning of my "appointment" I received a phone call from the technician around 8:15am. The tech asked my appointment time, and proceeded to say he couldn't get there until after 12pm due to being "over-booked" and "Would this be a problem? You got something else to do?" I said I had to be at work. I called the main office looking for a resolution & to get another tech out to me. They were just as uncaring on that end. I asked why I couldn't have been told a day or so beforehand and rescheduling...She attempted to look for later dates without any concern with my time being wasted. Needless to say but I took my business elsewhere for half of the price and completed within an hour and a half of Safe-Lite's phone call. read more

My car was broken into last night, my side window was completely smashed into the car and my front windshield was cracked. I set up an appointment with Safelite because it was covered by my insurance. They couldn't get me in until tomorrow; but they were willing to come to my work for the appointment between a five hour window so I didn't have to take additional time off. Because I had an appointment scheduled, I was told I could come in today for a free crash wrap to protect my car from the expected snow and rain. When I showed up the receptionist was very kind and offered the free beverages they had in the lobby. Within 10 minutes, the tech came in and asked if I had time so they could just fix my car now since they had it here! Right away they switched my appointment to fit the time that someone didn't show up for. Nothing about having your car broken into is a positive experience. But I am so thankful for the great service and flexibility of Safelite to help me through this today! read more
