Both Mike & Matt came to clean my carpet and what an awesome team! Mike was right on point with the quote for basic service and did an assessment of my home to give me options on what service would be best. Not pushy at all. It was totally worth me upgrading to suit my needs. Higher traffic areas and areas where my dog had accidents look brand new, blending with the rest of my home! Customer service speaks volume. Mike called 30 mins. before as he said he would. Always a nice touch when being given a window period and seeking to multi-task while awaiting service. I really appreciated this. There was a question about the color of the grout after Mike cleaned it the first time. These guys are great. Our carpets were stained from our toddler and they cleaned them up well. They even cleaned a wool rug which could not be stream cleaned. They cost more than steam cleaners, but the extra money is well worth it. We also had a couple areas that spots came back. They promptly returned when called a cleaned the areas again. read more

I've heard of the company before but Mike took a lot of time explaining what they do and why they are different. It's not just a van and a steam cleaner. Our tile floors look brand new. We knew they were a little dirty but didn't know how bad until they were cleaned. I'm afraid to walk on them now!!! The same was with the carpet! It wasn't that they were nasty in the first place but they looked like they were brand new. And once done, they were soft. If you've ever had cheap cleanings before, you know the "crunch" that is left behind after they cleaners have left and the carpets are dry. What was above and beyond, besides the cleaning, was that he called when he said he would, arrived on time and ready to work, and cleaned up when he was done. When I first called to make an appointment I spoke to a gentleman named Mike. He was very friendly and informative. We had planned to just have our carpets cleaned but after talking to him again when he got here we decided if the price was right we'd see about getting our sectional cleaned too along with the carpet. He ran a couple figures and gave us a deal we couldn't pass up. Our carpet had urine stains from our dog, (we have a baby dog) and she didn't always make it to go outside. The couch needed to be cleaned from normal wear and tear. He worked on our couch first and I was so amazed when I looked at it while he was cleaning it. I was so used to seeing the couch normally that I never noticed how bad it was. Now after he cleaned it and put a protector on it, its like I have a brand new couch again. Last was our carpets, and we were a bit worried about them because we weren't sure if the urine stains would come out. I figured it was going to take him a good 5-6 hours to get the cleaning on our carpets done, but in less than a hour he was done and it looked amazing. It looked just like it did when we got our carpet installed. My overall review of this company is that I got friendly service, he was very well mannered and clean cut very professional. The price of the services I got were GREAT very within our budget. I will most definitely recommend them in fact the next time I or someone I know needs a cleaning I'll give them the information! First off let me say that I love my 14-year old black labrador mix Cole very much- the dude is my best friend. That said, he's a terror for my carpet- lots of shedding, he leaves these unintentional dark stains all over cause his body secrets oil. I was tired of cleaning my carpet myself since I had very mixed results with the treatment I would get from Home Depot and the constant vacuuming was tedious. I go to the Interweb (talkirvine.com specifically) to ask for a good and reasonable carpet cleaning service. One of the posters on TalkIrvine sugggested I try All Star Chem-Dry. I give them a call and instantly Mike (owner) picks up the phone and answers all my questions and is literally at my place the next day. He provides me with 3 different quotes, all of which were more reasonable than Stanley Steemer or any of the bigger cleaning corporations. Both Mike and Luke (technician) did a thorough and deep clean of my 2 flights of stairs, 3 landings and 3 rooms. If you look at before/after pics I posted, you can see there is a tremendous difference between my stinky, soiled carpet from before and the finished and clean product you see post-All Star Chem Dry. Not only that, but Mike and Luke were professional, polite and saved me a bunch of money. Also, there cleaning treatment will last for a long while-- all I really do going forward is see them 2x a year and then vacuum my dog's constant shedding.
