For example, today I came to pick up a few prescriptions, one wasn't covered under insurance and she offered to look for generics. Unfortunately the generic wasn't the same dosage so she kindly explained my options, spoke with my doctor, and I was able to come back later that day to get the necessary prescriptions. I wish every medical professional was as thoughtful, kind and caring.

The store in general honestly surprises me it's still open - I would say overall, 50% of the shelves were totally empty. If I was going for a retail item, I'd have no confidence it was even in the store at all. No wonder Rite Aid has been closed in so many states! I tried one of their self checkout stations to buy something else, and the station froze mid transaction. The employee said that happens all the time, but a minute later, the station had finished my transaction (without applying the $4 credit I had for opening a rewards account). The employee just said it would be there for later and made no offer to refund the accidental charge from their broken machine. Not impressed.

The interaction felt unnecessary and honestly made me feel singled out. When I later asked her why she approached me like that, instead of handling it professionally she responded with "because I have to" and then told me to "get used to it." I've saved $30 on one trip before!! Go ahead and make fun of their receipts, but I love the coupons. They are tailored for what I buy (usually) and save me lots of $$. They're always open when I need them and they have a pharmacy that usually has enough staff to keep people from waiting in line too long.
