I only waited in the check-out line for a few minutes too, where Ebony helped ring up my items, and even added coupon discounts from my pharmacy receipt I hadn't even realized I could use! Between that and my monthly rewards credit, I paid less than $2 for my purchase. Ebony was friendly and efficient - I'll look forward to seeing her next time I visit. First, they get a star for being the only locally owned pharmacy near me. There's simply no way I'm going to target or walgreeens, so Horsnyder's is where I'm at, like it or not. I'll give another star because the pharmacist personally intervened in my case and helped make sure I would be able to get my doses on time. I still think this special treatment shouldn't be necessary and recognize it's not the same service others are getting. The thing that really makes me mad is the way they invalidate prescriptions after 1 year with no warning whatsoever. It doesn't matter if your bottle reads "10 of 12 refills remaining," if the prescription is more than a year old they will cancel it and not tell you. When I complained about this, they told me I should track it on my end and simply note when I make my annual doctor visit. I feel a good pharmacy would track that themselves, and warn you that a prescription renewal was imminent so that you don't miss doses. In many ways I feel this is a pharmacy not well set up for sick people. I don't go to the doctor annually; I'm constantly in and out of there. I have 4 prescriptions at Horsnyders that I need to constantly babysit to make sure they don't run out or expire. It still feels like I'm having to put in way too much work to be one of their customers. Please, Horsnyders, figure out how to track when these prescriptions are expiring so that your sick patients are not missing doses.

One compounded product separated from the start. Another was prepared at what appeared to be double the prescribed dose. A third was delivered overheated after being left by a pharmacy employee in a hot car on a hot day for far too long. What made this worse was the response when I raised these issues. I found the customer service dismissive, unprofessional, and not nearly as concerned as I would expect given the nature of the mistakes. I also found their pricing very high compared with other options. Since switching pharmacies, I have had a much better experience at a lower cost. Compounding requires precision, care, and accountability. Based on my experience, I lost confidence in this pharmacy's quality control, product handling, and customer service. I cannot recommend them.

I get that those cases are there to deter shoplifters, but staff need to be more responsive when someone requests the case be opened. Waiting around for 10 minutes is unacceptable.

The people who work at the counter were pleasant and helped me right away. Both pharmacist I saw were great and this last time I told the pharmacist I wasn't going straight home and since my medication need to be refrigerated would it be a huge deal.
