I generally am satisfied , especially with those at the desk. However, if you get into any trouble and need a higher up, customer service is horrible and it takes many phone calls or is impossible to get the damage undone. They blame the doctor!!! I'm sorry, even I can see that CVS made the mistake, same prescription and they fill it differently. Rules may change but, if so, they should explain it, but not blame the customers and doctor and argue about it. Do they have a responsible higher up, a "manager". Yes, but he told me he would follow up to tell my doctor what was needed and never contacted him. News alert! my doctor is busier than you are and has people's lives in his hands. Yes, you have peoples lives in your hands also, but you don't act like it. I am talking about a specific incident but it continues to happen too frequently. Same story, lack of communication and blaming the doctor! If they talk to the doctor they probably blame the patient. I also notice that getting questions answered when you have questions about how to take a medication or side effects sometimes is good sometimes not. Why should I trust it then? The greatest thing is the location and hours. read more

I'm always amazed to see how hard everyone works in the pharmacy! I recently picked up my meds at the drive thru and there was a man behind me yelling. He was obviously impatient. If you choose to go to the drive thru please be patient. Sometimes it takes time due to insurance issues. It's nobody's fault especially not the staff. They are all so nice and doing their best! The woman at the window was trying her best and kept her cool while this man was going off. Her name is Angelica and I want to thank her for being so kind and patient as well. read more

I have lived near this CVS for almost two decades and have shopped here frequently. Unfortunately, over the past year or so, customer service has rapidly declined. After my experience tonight, I will not be returning--and nothing in this account is exaggerated or fabricated. I placed an online photo order and received an email notification stating they were ready. Upon arriving at the store parking lot, I received a call from an unfamiliar number. The caller informed me that CVS had mistakenly given her my photo order along with her own. She realized the error after leaving the store and called me to let me know. I assured her I would address it with the store directly. I am very concerned that CVS handed my personal photos to another customer, especially since the envelope included my name and cell phone number. Inside CVS, after waiting in line, I explained the situation to an employee. He responded with a blank stare and asked for my name. After briefly searching, he returned and said, "I can't find your order." I repeated the explanation, again met with confusion. When I asked, "What can be done about this?" he replied, "I don't know." My request to speak with a manager went ignored, and instead, he began assisting another customer at the self-checkout. Another employee approached the counter and called for the next customer. When I expressed uncertainty about whether I was still being assisted, this employee completely ignored me and proceeded to help someone else. Eventually, the original employee returned, asked about the photo details again, and agreed to reprint them at no charge, estimating it would take about 10 minutes. After waiting the promised 10 minutes, I approached the counter again. The original employee, busy doing other things behind the counter, ignored me. The second employee returned to the counter at this point said he would help me. W I asked about my photos, the original employee indicated they were ready. The second employee began to ring up the photos and the original employee told him that he promised me that they would be complimentary. Upon hearing this, the second employee then flung the envelope onto the counter dismissively, nearly causing it to fall, and curtly said, "Have a nice day," immediately calling for the next customer. Frustrated by this consistently rude and dismissive treatment, I again requested from the original employee to speak to a manager. He then informed me, "We are the managers." If this is true, this CVS location faces serious problems. After nearly two decades as a regular customer, this experience has convinced me not to return. read more

I'm sorry to say this but I had the worst experience yesterday while picking up a prescription at the drive through. The girl at the window gave me attitude when I told her I have double insurance, she looks at me like I'm wasting her time, then she looks on the computer and then walks away, then comes back a few seconds later saying I need to move my car and go through the long line again! Ummmm noooo! Not going to do that! I might have to look for a different pharmacy if this continues! read more

My insurance approves a 3 month supply of my medication. Despite in store instructions to the pharmacy staff as well as multiple phone calls by my self, as well as my prescribing physician's office and my insurance contacting this pharmacy instructing them to dispense a 3 month supply, in 7 months they have never gotten it correct. Every time they dispense a 1 month supply, then blame my physician for prescribing incorrectly, my insurance for not approving, and me, for picking it up without counting. To ice it, the pharmacy staff, including 2 different pharmacists were incredibly rude when I again pointed out the error. Is this seriously the best they can do? read more

Your doctor sends a prescription and they don't fill it. It takes multiple attempts. When there is an "issue" there is no communication. The burden of communication is entirely on you, made much worse by the fact they no longer answer the phone. You have to leave a message and hope they call you back. They assume that if insurance doesn't pay for it, they can't fill it. People need prescriptions whether or not insurance will cover it. My disabled sister's doctor changed the prescription and sent it over two weeks ago. CVS wouldn't fill it. I had to make calls to her doctor and the pharmacy to try to figure out what was going on. I couldn't speak to anyone at CVS. I had to leave a message and wait for them to call back. They said it was "too soon" to fill it. This is just a regular, non-narcotic antipsychotic my sister cannot miss but almost has multiple times because of this pharmacy. They explained that insurance wouldn't cover until the 16th, but they still didn't fill it. I had to call back today to try get them to fill it so I could pick it up tomorrow. They still wont fill it. The girl was talking all over me, repeated all the info I already left in my message back to me and claimed I filled the last one too recently at another pharmacy. There is no other pharmacy. Its always this hell hole because its the only one that has meds in stock, but not always. There are all new faces there and someone with a power trip who doesn't think its possible to fill a prescription to be picked up the next day. She said I have to call back, leave a message, wait for them to call back, wait all day for them to fill it tomorrow, and completely ignored my request they have it ready for tomorrow. They think its totally appropriate to waste customers time and put them through unnecessary hardships with zero communication. How much time would they save themselves if they just filled prescriptions when doctors send them? A customer can handle waiting to pick it up. They shouldn't have 6 phone calls every time their doctor sends a prescription. This is just another hardship their many disabled and eldery customers have to endure in their already difficult lives. How does someone with compromised cognition navigate these kind of unnecessary obstacles? Zero compassion. read more

For a CVS this one is great!! The workers are always kind, friendly, and super helpful! There is lots of parking and it is in a place with other stores if you need shopping done for other things as well. The place is clean and often has the things we're looking for! It has regular pharmacy items as well as beauty supplies, seasonal things, food/drinks, and a great photo printer. There are also household items as well. Believe it or not the jewelry stand always has super cute stuff! The staff always greets you on the way in and thanks you on the way out! I really recommend this CVS for your needs! read more

I was shopping with my 8 year old daughter, and she needed to use the restroom. When I asked the manager where the bathroom was, he stated they are not available and recommended I take my daughter to McDonald's or Whole Foods. I handed him my cart of stuff ($200 ish of stuff), and informed him we will shop at Target instead and use their bathrooms. I will not teach my daughter bad ethics on using a bathroom at a place where you are not planning to buy something. And you wonder why this cvs store was empty?!?!? Thank you Target for having family friendly bathrooms! read more

The fact that they have a such a stellar employee, Cherry...gives them a 5 star rating my book! Cherry goes above and beyond to help customers at CVS. I'm pretty much a coupon freak when it comes to shopping at CVS. I don't like paying full price for anything if I don't have to. Cherry knows this about me and gave me good tips on where to find more discounts on my extra care account. She's also just a super nice person! One of the pharmacists (a female) needs to learn to have a poker face when talking to customers. Customers will feel a lot more welcomed if you are kind and not making weird faces at them when they are talking. Kindness goes a long way. Besides that the staff is amazing and so kind! If you're looking for decent customer service, DON'T waste your time coming here. They're rude to you at the drive thru, inside the store, even on the PHONE (where one snappily answered my question and hung up on me). I had called earlier because I was given incorrect information about how to upload information to my account (therefore they have people who don't even know how to give you basic information). Every time I go through the drive thru, I have to wait for at least 15 minutes, and that's with only ONE or two people in front of me. I remember walking in once (because I was sick of waiting in the drive thru lane) only to be greeted with rude, grumpy woman, "We're closing soon." Nice, lady. I've been at your crappy store OUTSIDE for at least 35 minutes." They weren't closing for at least another 15 minutes or so and I just had a simple pick up. I would give this place is 0 Stars if I could. Now that I see this place has 1.5 stars, my one star review isn't going to help very much. But this Pharmacy basically took $17.09 from me & would not return it, though they took the product back They were out of NP thyroid 60 so only gave me a partial prescription, 33 pills in May 3019. In June I got a text that the rest of the prescription was ready. I came back, picked it up for another $17.09, get to the car and realize that is not 57 pills like it should be ( the difference between 90 and 33) but it's only another 33 pills. ( BTW: Who orders 33 pills? It should be 30, 60, or 90 days) In any event that shows how silly they are. But then I walk immediately back ,once I noticed the discrepancy, I tell the girl at the counter ,she takes the prescription from me and says we will correct it and we'll fill the difference. I asked aren't you going to credit me back the $17, she says no that'll happen when you pick up the difference. I should have taken a picture of her and the label and the package and immediately asked for the video of the interaction. In the meantime, my doctor changes my prescription down to 48.75 mg. instead of 60. I come back and I explained the situation to Pharmacy Manager Amanda ,who refuses to listen to me and actually yells at me!. Unfortunately she is the pharmacy manager! Terrible customer service. (She has never learned the old PR adage that "that the customer is always right.") I come back again with documentation and explain it to Paul who's also a pharmacy manager and he says that because I left the store with it, even if it was momentarily, they cannot take it back. I then reminded them that they did take it back! and I want that $17 credit against further prescriptions. Mind you I used to get all my prescriptions from them! He refused to give me any credit and he also said there is no video I can have and there is no Complaint Form and all I can do is call 1 800 shop CVS. We'll of course they're closed on the weekends. I had to dispute with my credit card, as Paul told me to do, & succeeded Meanwhile I transferred all my prescriptions out of this horrible Place. Ironically after they filled my 48.75 milligram thyroid prescription ( that is when Amanda refused to give me the credit ) they then called my doctor asking her if she could refill the 60 mg! Pharmacist these days have PHdds, but the pharmacist at this CVS branch knew nothing about what I was looking for... And cinematic fame in liquid form and NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteineº... -something that is easily found. She could not answer any questions about the CVS acetaminophen brand. She told me to look it up on the Internet, turned her back, and walked away. The cashier, who wore medical scrubs, seemed out of sorts and confused. A district manager or someone from their corporate office should read what I said. There is no such thing as customer service in there pharmacy. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

The reviews of this place in general aren't great, but based on my visit, and compared with the genuinely awful CVS at Front St. and Soquel Ave., I had nothing to complain about. I've had so many issues with filling my prescriptions here over the last year. The wait for urgent prescriptions is long, my doctors have had to call multiple times to get their prescriptions for me in, and the techs and pharmacists are rude. I was told a clarification was needed on a prescription (my doctor changed my dose and they needed the doctor to tell them I was no longer taking the other dose ) my doctor had their medical assistant call and was told they need her to take time to confirm that yes she did intend the dose change. She called them to do this and they told her it would be ready in an hour. I called to see why it wasn't ready a few hours later and they told me she hadn't called even though she had. They told me she'd need to call again since whoever she spoke to hadn't entered it properly. The amount of my doctor's time they've wasted is infuriating. This isn't the only experience I've had like this. And whenever I've called to deal with these issues, the customer service has been awful. I've had times where I've called and when I was waiting for the person to do something I've overheard them talking with other staff about things like meal break issues or other customers issues. They didn't even place me on hold properly. Most recently I came to the drive through to pick up prescriptions I've filled before. They asked for my debit card without telling me the total do I assumed it was around the same as always, somewhere around $30. When they sent the receipt back, I saw it was over $300 and despite having filled these same prescriptions and others there for the past year, my insurance wasn't even billed. It said uninsured on the papers. Usually when there's an issue with the insurance or a high co pay I've been told before my card was run and asked if I still wanted the med. O called immediately and was told they had no insurance on file for me and I needed to park and come inside to give them my card, they'd refund me and bill my insurance then charge me again. I came inside and waited over an hour for them to do this for 2 prescriptions. When it was ready I was told to get in the back of the long line to wait so they could refund and recharge me the correct amount. All of this made me miss an event I was on my way too. Not once did they apologize for their error or do anything to expedite the process of fixing their error. After this and the numerous other errors over the past year I decided this was the last straw and I've switched to another pharmacy. The pharmacy manager and/or district manager needs to do something to better train their staff on proper procedure and customer service. read more

Not sure I've ever had a bad or concerning experience in a CVS, but it happened today at the 41st Ave. location. (This is for Pharmacy only.) After having been in the ER, headed straight here to pick up meds. Guy at the counter in the pharmacy had me wait a minute (no biggie...), then, from sitting in his chair, just looked at me, then finally said, "How can I help you?" but in a super dry/bored/unhappy tone. If you hate your job, kid, bounce! As I'm waiting for him to input my prescription and I look past him at the pill-filling station directly behind him and notice that the floor below it is littered with random pills, pill bottle caps, and maybe some shredded paper. ARE YOU KIDDING??? Pills all over the floor?? A messy area around prescription-filling?? Totally unacceptable. And P.S. A employee was standing IN THE MIDDLE of the mess, filling her bottles, or whatever. *face palm to my face* But it gets (worse) better! I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and thought, "Maybe they just aren't noticing it..." (By the way, this is a Tuesday morning and super not busy, with at least people in lines. There were only two of us.) NOPE!! A girl at the station next to the station (perpendicular, so her back was to it), turned slightly AND TOSSED A BOTTLE CAP into the mess! What the...!! "So you doooo knooowww about the mess..." Completely unacceptable. More annoying was that bored-out-of-his-mind boy at the front station said it would take 15 minutes and when I check about 10 minutes later, the girl said, "It will be 15 more minutes." Umm, excuse me?? Get your act together, CVS. You lost lost a customer here. (P.S. My parents happened to be with me and they were also appalled and vowed not to go there again.) Shameful. read more

Great pharmacy!! The doctor phoned the prescription in an hour before they closed on a Saturday. The pharmacy was kind enough to call and leave a voicemail, saying they could fill the prescription but unfortunately couldn't take my insurance for it, which would increase my cost and did I want the prescriptions filled anyway? It would be almost $100 × 3 prescriptions. When we arrived, we hadn't heard their voicemail yet, but they explained the situation. We went ahead and agreed to have them filled, knowing we'd be charged more. It was a 15 minute wait. We went up to the counter to pay and the total was around $80. They said they were able to find some coupons that reduced the cost for us! Who does that? Very friendly and supportive staff who went out of their way for us. Grateful! read more

The customer service from Devon in the pharmacy was simply stellar. He is our hero! On a weekend getaway we forgot our daughter's antibiotics at home. Despite being almost closing time late at night, he called our provider to transfer the prescription, called us back to let us know we should come by the store and then filled the RX all before closing time. Honestly, these people were great. Answered a ton of questions and everyone was professional and polite. The pharmacy staff was amazingly busy: I judged over 250 orders sitting on their desk to be processed, they were answering phones and handling drive by customers too. I was astounded they processed my order in less than 20 minutes with that much work and one person ahead of me. Highlights: 1) Greeted with a cheery hello, a smile and offer of assistance upon stepping into the store 2) Ordered my prescription and cashier applied a coupon without me asking for it, total price after coupon was less than $10 for my prescription! 3) Asked for a consult for an item not in stock. Pharmacist walked the aisle with me, discussed alternatives and places to shop for desired item instead. 4) Bought alternative product, cashier apologized profusely when coupon could not be applied and explained why. Everything about this visit was as good as you can get in a retail shopping experience for quick items. Great job CVS Team! read more

Staff should have a little compassion. I just had a baby and asked to use the restroom. The young woman I asked straight up said they didn't have bathrooms. To which I replied yes you do and only one has a sign that says out of order. She then again refused to let me use the restroom. I understand with Covid that things are different but Jesus Christ. Just had a covid pcr test here yesterday. It was simply with the lady talking me through the test. I forgot my phone with the authorization code, but she was able to work around this. I only had to wait behind one person. But the best part of getting tested was getting the negative results back today. So a 24 hour turn around time. read more

When I inquired as to why they did not have the same information in their system, they stated "sometimes the insurance rejects and doesn't go through." That is completely unacceptable. read more

Just went to CVS on 41st to pick-up a prescription and after sitting at the drive-thru window for a half an hour left with no prescription. After sitting there for 15 minutes where absolutely no one acknowledged that I was there I was finally acknowledged by the most rude and unprofessional girl that I have ever had the displeasure of talking to. She should not have any kind of job dealing with public because she has no clue what customer service is. I tried to get her name but they would not give it to me. She must be a very unhappy, bitter person to act the way she acted towards me. I am transferring all of my prescriptions since there is no reason to give my business to a company that would hire a person that unprofessional and rude. read more

The service here is so slow. I stood in line at the pharmacy for 25 minutes with only one person ahead of me (being helped). There were at least 4 employees working in the pharmacy but only one of them was actually helping customers. I finally gave up and left, hoping if I returned the following day at a different time, service would be faster. Nope. I waited 20 minutes with again only one person in front of me. Today I am home with a sick child and I needed Tylenol, Vick's and other necessitate to soothe him. I decided to use the curbside pickup because I figured it would save me time. Nope. I texted "here" when I arrived and was told that someone would be with me shortly. I waited for 15 minutes before leaving my car (looking like a mess) and walked in to find two employees and a manager talking. No customers being helped so it's not like they were busy. I asked the manager where I needed to go for curbside pickup and he handed me the only bag there...with half of the items missing. I won't be shopping here again. read more
