So this is a bit of a different review and this is from the "Receiver" of the car vs the customer who requested the tow. A good friend needed a starter and her car was stuck 45 minutes south. Elier was great, he was able to get to the car faster than the owner of the car and pulled it out of a tough parking space by himself. Elier delivered the car quickly and impressed me with not only his professionalism but his ability to back the car up between two cars, heck he was better at backing up a car on a wrecker than I am at driving a car. For not actually having anything towed by them I was still impressed with their response! I have a delivery van and my driver got a flat on I-95 express lanes. Found Safeway on Yelp, after trying two other places one of which didn't answer and another got a busy signal. It was a Saturday but Elier at the other end answered. He explained how we could call I95 Road stranger and they might be able to change it free as part of their service. Elier went so far as to call my driver and tell this to him. Sure enough the Road Rangers were able to get my van going again. Elier even called ME back to tell me what happened even though we never needed the tow! Now THAT is customer service!!! Do not trust this company at all. Very unprofessional staff. I called to Be picked up was told it would be 45 minutes 2 and a half hours later no one showed up. I called several times the gentleman who answerd the phone (Elliott) kept telling me the driver was on the way. Then he said the driver was putting gas next to where I was no one was there. I let him know I also had my children with me. The driver was no where to be found and couldn't contact him. This was the worst experience. Had car issues and couldn't miss work, so I gave SouthTow a call for a night drop to a dealership. Elier picked up on the other line (at 8 PM mind you), and explained the situation to him. He would have gladly obliged, but expressed that even though the dealership may have stated they have a night drop box, it would be a wasted effort on his part and on my finances if he showed up to a closed gate or lack of a night drop box. So we arranged for an early morning pickup the day after. I gave all the information he asked for in regards to the car ( vin, tag, pick up, drop off, name, etc etc) and emailed me an invoice immediately. I went off to work and left the key in an undisclosed location for him (now 5:30 AM) and we stayed in touch at all times until he let me know the car was in the dealerships' hands, and the dealership had called me to confirm the same. Honest guy, honest work, new to towing distances so I can't tell you if the price was right, but all in all an easy experience and trustworthy guy to help you when you need a tow. read more
