    Paneer kulcha and veg chowmein
    tripti r.

The veg chowmein was amazing! We had yellow dal with garlic naan and paneer kulcha, both were really tasty! As a vegetarian, it was a delight to eat here!

Garlic naan (top left), white rice, saag paneer (bottom left), crispy honey chicken (middle right) and chicken biriyani (bottom right)

The outside is deceptive of how amazing the food here is. My friend and I went here on a visit to Stowe and we were craving Indian food and I am so glad we stopped here. Although it's a small store, the service was exceptional and the food was delicious. My favorite was the chicken biryani because of how flavorful it was and how tender the chicken was. I will definitely recommend this establishment to friends and family.

    Kulfi

Chicken Momo delish- and worth the price . Chicken Chow Mein was a little dry. Lost a star bc the dessert, Kulfi at $5 was tasty but minuscule. Super nice folks and good service!

The chicken coconut curry was lights out delicious, the Chana masala was very disappointing for the price and the naan bread was fair

We waited about 15 minutes for a table. Not bad at all!! Our server was energetic and accommodating. She cheerfully answered all our questions and honored our request to get a margherita pizza as an appetizer. The aforementioned pizza arrived in no time. It was good. Not the best ever, but still quite solid. The star of the culinary show was the salmon entree. Both my wife and I got it and we both loved it. It was a big piece of wood fired salmon and came with a nice assortment of roasted veggies. I'm talking real veggies--zucchini, broccoli, fingerling potatoes, the works. Neither one of us are big drinkers, but there are LOTS of microbrews on tap if you're into that kind of thing. The dining room was lively without being too noisy. Both of us enjoyed hanging out there. It would be a great place to have a beer and watch baseball on TV. Will definitely return the next time I'm in town.

The poutine was very good, but I'll grant you that it's maybe hard to get that wrong - but their gravy is on point! Service was great - got there around 5:40pm on a Wednesday, so the wait was non-existent and a table for 5 was easy to accommodate. Duncan was the server, who disclosed that he was new but you wouldn't know it from how he took orders and brought food out. Even threw him a curve by asking for the steak frites with an additional side of brussel sprouts, which he handled no problem - even though there weren't any sides I saw on the menu. Steak was medium rare and perfectly seasoned, and I think I mentioned the chimichurri but it deserves additional mention. Maybe you're wondering about beverages. The maple lemonade is great - it leans harder on the tart side and there are sweeter options around (Cliff House) but I love a lemonade that tastes... lemony. Pineapple cherry punch was also a hit - but that's secondhand hearsay, unlike my direct opinion on the chimichurri - which I would drink if I could. Definitely check this place out. The table near ours seemed to immensely enjoy their meal and also get great service from Duncan.

I wasn't the biggest fan of their plain coffee with almond milk, so I'd recommend getting a flavor in it. Great spot for a quick grab and go, and they have some canned and bottled drink too. They offer a solid breakfast and lunch menu. Breakfast is served until 10:45am but you can still get a bagel, just not the breakfast combos. I was five minutes late to breakfast but still got a bagel with cream cheese and cucumber added. There's seating inside, and the staff was really friendly.

The restaurant is a small space near the building entrance with a few places to sit inside and more out front where they have a pick-up window. We stopped in for a coffee and sandwich. Breakfast had just ended and I was sad, but here we are. So no 'all day' breakfast sandwiches here. Maybe because I was hoping for something else my sandwich was a bit disappointing. I can only describe it as bland. So take that with a grain of salt. It may be just what you want. The staff were pleasant. Food quality is good. Restaurant is clean. Outdoor seating is nice and there was a child booster seat available outside during our visit. Public restrooms are around the corner in the basement of the building. Parking on street or in one of the public lots.

The combination of veggies, spices, and herbs was perfection. It was the best flatbread/pizza I've ever eaten, and that includes NYC, SF, Chicago, and Italy. Kudos to the chefs! Terrific job! The service was outstanding, too. The hostess was professional and very hospitable. Our young man waiter could not have been more attentive and kind. I observed all the waitresses and each one was giving similar service. Whoever is running this restaurant really knows how to hire the best, and is a master at training them. I loved the ambiance, and especially having the pizza oven out on the main floor. Bravo!

They have large parking lot so we parked and head on over to the entrance. It's amazing large establishment with wooden lodge style interiors and some outside patio seatings as well. They have a huge stone furnace for the pizza. We were sat down right away as it wasn't too busy. We got the pick two lunch where you can choose 2 between soup, salad and mini flatbread. I ended up picking vermont maple sausage flatbread and soup. Soup was tomato base with some cheese. Strong tomato flavor and some acidity with saltiness of cheese coming through. It was good but maybe a little bit of cream or milk might balanced it out better. The pizza was pretty good. Can see the char from wood fire. Saltiness of cheese and hint of sweetness and savoriness from maple sausage pairs well together. Dough was bice and chewy and crispy on the crust Service was good and server was nice and attentive. Overall it's a solid place to enjoy wood fired pizza made with local ingredients. Good place for lunch or dinner. If you go for lunch Monday through Thursday the take two lunch option is a good value.
