    Chicken Tikka Masala

Chicken tikka masala is so fire. It was delicious. After months of searching we finally found good Indian outside of the city. Medium spice was perfect. Hot but not unbearable. Thank you!!!

Bright and sunny yellow greets you in this restaurant..so the place it self is kinda different but don't let that deter you from eating there . I first thought it was going to be like a fast food joint that was just Indian style. It has that vibe. You sit down and got great service... Nice easy menu to navigate and of course lunch specials. I ordered a lunch special of lamb tikka masala. It came with salad with indian style dressing. Which I will admit first time ever having that dressing it was full of flavor. The lamb was plentiful and tender. I had garlic naan and rice as well. Also a side of chickpea curry. Everything was on point and just

The best chicken biryani I've ever tasted

I have never loved something so much that I thought "I have to write a review", but this place is sooooooo good. Even my 13 year old who doesn't like any kind of spices LOVED it. He took one bite of chicken tikka masala and his eyes got wide and he scooped a whole bunch onto his plate. The staff is so friendly and the ambience is so cute.

My friend had Indian food for the first time ever and the tikka masala was her first meal. She's already been back. I'm no stranger to Indian food and I absolutely love this place. Delicious every time. Super friendly staff.

Ordered takeouts today. Food was prepared on time and packaged well. Chicken Tikka Masala Dinner - very juicy. Broth was perfect for dipping naans Garlic Naan Dinner - very yummy. 2 pieces for $4. Came with cucumber yogurt sauce. Lamb Roganjosh Dinner - chose Medium spicy level is but not really spicy. Broth tasted like a mix of cream and red peppers. Lamb was very tender. Mango lassi - yum Badami Kheer Dinner - a little rich and thicker than I expected. Vegetable Biryani Dinner - became a little mushy in the container but otherwise tasted great. Quite spicy. A lot of veggies within.

I just wanna start with saying how good the food is here, absolutely delicious!! Let's break it down one item at a time. I started with onion bhijia, Vegetables fried in a chic pea batter, it was slightly over cooked but tasty and the dipping items were delicious. I didn't ask what they were one was like a green chili or green tomato. The garlic naan was perfection a nice balance of flavor and texture nothing over powering. Finally one of the best things I've had in a long time, Lamb Vindaloo. It was the most tender lamb in a red stew like sauce the thickening agent must have been the potatoes. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! I closed out with Masala Tea. The Restuarant is easy to find, plenty of parking and it can accommodate any size group. The tables are set very nicely with bright yellowish gold tablecloths and the silverware is high quality restaurant grade. The host/server was very nice with helping me navigate the pronunciation of the dishes. My food was served promptly and hot. This is also a Yelp 'cash back' restaurants. Good food, service and a discount, will I be back? Heck yeah!

Well-prepared, carefully spiced dishes; many vegetarian options. The eggplant dish was excellent.

What a lovely little spot on the Main Line! I am an afternoon tea connoisseur, so my expectations…read morewere rather high... and they were surpassed! I had been in the area for several days to tour apartments and daycares in advance of our planned move to Pennsylvania next year... so a lovely tea was my little splurge on the trip after days of drinking protein shakes on the go. I made a reservation for 10 am on Sunday, right when they opened, since I was going to go straight to the airport afterward. I was seated immediately, and everything came out pretty fast. I opted for the full afternoon tea, which comes with eight tea sandwiches, a scone with clotted cream, lemon curd, and strawberry preserves, and three assorted mini pastries, along with a pot of tea. You can choose up to four flavors for the sandwiches (so you get two of each flavor for a total of eight mini sandwiches), so I got the curried chicken salad, egg salad, cucumber and cream cheese, and cheddar cheese and chutney. Most tea places give you four sandwiches per person, so there was no way I was finishing eight of these. Thankfully, I got four of them in a to-go box and they ended up being a tasty snack on the plane. The curried chicken salad was my favorite (which they sell in their to-go containers in the gift shop), followed by the cucumber and cream cheese (the cucumbers were thinly sliced, which makes a big difference!). The egg salad was good, but a bit mild-flavored. I can't say I loved the cheddar cheese and chutney combo, so in the future I might just opt for more of the curried chicken or cucumber sandwiches instead. For the scone, I chose blueberry citrus, which was delicious! I used a very thin layer of the lemon curd, followed by the strawberry preserves and topped with the clotted cream. All of the flavors worked quite well on the scone. I wasn't blown away by the mini desserts (I can't recall exactly what flavors they were, but there was a posset that was a bit saltier than I was expecting, a blueberry cream puff, and a mini cake slice). But as I've gotten older, I've found myself more drawn to the savory aspect of afternoon teas anyway. The rest of the meal was delicious enough, and filling enough, that I honestly was never going to be able to finish everything. I was dining solo here, and I'm guessing not a lot of people do a tea for one, so I ended up chatting with 4-5 different employees here over the course of my meal. I have to say that the service here may have been the friendliest I've experienced pretty much anywhere. Everyone I spoke with was so welcoming and kind! When it came time for me to leave, they all wished me a safe trip back to Florida and said they hoped to see me again as one of their "regulars" once we move. I can already tell you, I hope that's the case too! This place is adorable, inside and out. And I love the assorted British foods available in the gift shop, along with fun kitchenware. If my suitcase hadn't already been packed to the brim, I probably would've spent more money in that shop. I'm looking forward to returning next year once I escape the Sunshine State :)

They also brought more gluten/dairy free dessert for her as well. We drove almost 2 hours and I would not be against doing it again. They have a nice lovely shot that you can mill around in parking is easy. Everybody was absolutely pleasant as can be and the food presentation was as lovely looking as it was eating

And the ambiance is really nice -- fancy farm to table with plush seating and pillows. If you're going to get an appetizer, I would highly recommend getting the snack board to share (unfortunately this was eaten before I got to take photos). It includes delicious biscuits paired with the most perfect sausage gravy, thick cut bacon, fruit, croissant, warm donut holes, deviled eggs, and dips/jams. THEY ARE INCREDIBLE. The gravy is jaw-dropping and perfect with the texture of the biscuit -- trust me, you have to try it!!! The donut holes are fluffy and soft fritters. I also really loved the deviled eggs' flavor. For my entree, I got the breakfast pot pie (in the photo) which had the same incredible gravy and biscuit crust as the appetizer, topped with a crispy fried egg. My sister had the Challah French Toast (peach compote) which was also incredible -- perfect without being too sweet. Both were huge portions. Service was also excellent -- our waitress very kindly brought out our toddler nieces' kids' meals first along with our appetizers. She even brought out a little sorbet on the house for my sister's birthday (which also was very very good!)

And we all got alcoholic drinks, and many with desserts. The Smoked Old Fahioned was very not good. It smelled nice, but tasted like cherry cough syrup. It was like smoked cherry cordial with a splash of well-shelf bourbon. It's probably not literally well-shelf... just an emphasis on how unpalatable this was and therefore expensive for what it is. I didnt pay $15+ for some cherry cordial. Waitress vocalized distaste when we wanted to spit checks - which we told her before placing orders. Then she gave sh** about seating arrangements; since we wanted to split checks she ordered us to sit by how checks are being split. That's a new one... She said she would have to write separate checks... an obvuous approach... I endorse that plan smh. Wouldn't that be easier when it comes to "splitting checks" when all is said and done? To treat us as separate tables but still tack on 20% per check? As we are wrapping up dinner and everyone else was looking over dessert, I told her she could bring mine now since I have a 45 min drive back to CC and I have perishables. People are now eating their dessert and she's still fussing aroundat her kiosk. I eventually approach her and asked for mine again. She got super frustrated and unprofessional, and said us wanting to split bills is (exact words) "tumultuous." Does she even know what that word means? "I thought you wrote separate checks?" But she's trying to figure out how to split like $8 rolls among like 12 people. She was like, "Then who is paying for the rolls?" That is her job to find out. I am a guest, not the host of the party. I only know three other people there. She walks to the table and says (again..exact words), "Who's paying for the rolls?" As if we are planning on dining and dashing with basic dinner rolls. Why? Because we are a table of minorities? Had we been a table of all white, would she have asked HOW we would like to have it split? I was in the dine-in food service industry for several years. I had thought splitting checks was a very common practice, and I absolutely did NOT ask patrons to sit in specific order. White Dog in UC didn't do that either (or anywhere else). Perhaps White Castle is more within her playing field. Some courses in sensitivity training may aid in her professional development. And they wanted to charge like $4 per person since someone baked cupcakes.... reminder that most people also ordered dessert on top of all this. They can go pound the sand.

Less sweet cakes often have overtones of almond or citrus that shine through, but this tasted like a vanilla cake minus the sugar. When I sliced into it I was hoping for more of a strawberry puree inside, but it appeared to be just sliced strawberries & a whole lot of unsweetened whipped cream. A little 1 dimensional for me. It was packaged beautifully w/ a lady finger & birthday candle. The gentleman working the counter was super helpful & I look forward to trying the Matcha & other flavors in the future. This one was a miss for me. While I barely have a sweet tooth, I need a little more going on than what was presented. That's a preference, not a criticism.
