My go to laundromat, I do my own Landry there but I definitely take advantage of their free dryers on Tuesdays! You won't catch me there any other day. The new place is finally open! So much nicer and cleaner. They have all new washers and dryers. Customer service is phenomenal. The new owners are great. I love this place. They have a new system going on, where you can get a laundry card, keep adding your money into the card, and use that card to wash and dry your clothes. You can also use the card to buy soap and snacks from their vending machines. Over time you get points, when you spend at Safi and you could win prizes. They also have a wash and dry service, where they do your laundry for you! This service is great for people who are busy during the week and don't have much time to wash their clothes. I just moved to San Jose recently and was looking for a local laundromat to do my laundry. The business is located in a small plaza so finding parking was easy. They have a bathroom, vending machine for snacks, and vending machine for laundry related supplies like detergent and dryer sheets. There are plenty of TVs mounted on the walls you can watch while you wait for your laundry to be done. I noticed they have baskets of dryer balls you can use and return! How convenient for large bulky items like blankets and comforters! An older Hispanic woman who worked there helped me set up my card and showed me how to use the machines. I love the fact they utilize rechargeable cards for their machines instead of old fashioned quarters. She's so sweet and friendly. I also saw her wipe down and clean every machine after being used. This is hands down the cleanest and friendliest laundromat I've ever been to. Will definitely return and recommend this place to everyone. read more

I recently went in to Safi just to wash and dry some bigger blankets. It was the first laundromat that I've been to in a year and a half. Everything that I saw in that building was spotless. The aisles were so organized, the displays were so well put together, and there were machines everywhere of every size. I got a chance to talk to one of the owners while I finishing up and he was kind, professional, respectful, friendly, and very helpful. I even bought two of their laundry bags that were advertised. Went to Safi back in December 2021 for their laundry service. The communication and professionalism was impeccable!!! I told them about my previous experience from another company and they assured me that my clothes would be clean and not washed with other customers. They had no problem with my requests and even used my laundry Detergent (they do have their own but I felt guilty using thiers). Working in the Healthcare industry, especially during the pandemic. Clean clothes is a must. James was amazing! Terry and his wife Anita are the owners and they are extremely caring and give much attention to detail. Not to mention Terry is my fraternity brother I was super excited to have pick up one day and delivery the very next day! Did I mention how clean my clothes were?! They smelled so fresh!!! It's truly hard to find someone to trust with your intimates (clothing in general) and they made me feel like family from the initial call! This place by far has the best customer service and is the cleanest laundry mat in San Jose. They have provided a free of charge membership card which allows you to place money on card instead of using quarters in each machine. I find this time efficient and wise during a pandemic. Hand washing station and handsanitizers are always stocked to maintain a clean environment. They have provided a wash and fold service.There is free wifi provided while you wait. As well as, a clean public restroom provided for customers. I would definitely recommend because of how spacious, clean and welcoming the staff are every time I come. read more

I cannot remember the last time I've been to a restaurant and had this kind of service. The owner is very lucky to get employees like this. Also, the owners business philosophy is amazing. With my work schedule it was looking like I wouldn't have clean clothes for at least a week. I couldn't do that. Safi took in my clothes and a few comforters, and had them done and ready to pickup in under four hours. Amazing! Saved my entire week. This is the best place to do your laundry hands down. Great place to do laundry especially with the Tuesday special. The space is always clean and there's someone always tending to the machines after a patron has finished using it. Overall a great place to do laundry. Only docking off a point because of the customer service. The younger lady is a great worker however it's the older lady that I always have issues with. I've been coming here for the past few months and have always batted an eye, however after today I just couldn't take it. With the Tuesday special it's evidently always going to be easier. However the older lady plays favorites as to who can get the first available machine first and leaves other patrons she's not familiar with waiting up to 30 minutes for another machine. She also always goes around making sure I'm not putting a lot of soap in the washing machine which she NEVER does for any other patron. (Btw I don't put a lot and you can barely see it foam up whereas people she is friendly with allows to put as much space as they want to the point where all you see is foam. There is also a sign that says share counter space, but she allows people who she is friendly with to take up all of the counter space (there's only 2). Again, I usually just bat an eye because the area is convenient for the price & location and is super clean, but I just feel uncomfortable every time I do laundry when I see her. read more

I don't even live that close to Safi (literally so many other laundry mats around me) but I still make the effort to go here. They play decent movies as well. Lately my laundry loads has been getting bigger as the pandemic stress cause me to wash my clothes more often. The machines are new, clean, and affordable. They use a card so it is coinless like I prefer. On Tuesdays they have a special to dry for free. To encourage business and to reward customers they have a way to earn points when you register your laundry card and you can win prizes. Wow! First off, I never knew that such a service existed! Not only did this cut out soo much time from my weekend "chores", lol. But, the clothes were washed perfectly! My scrubs and my sons school uniforms looked dry cleaned! I had over 30lbs of laundry, and Virginia had them washed, folded, and bagged in less than 24 hours. My wife and I visited the newly opened Safi Laundry at 301 N Jackson Ave and we were surprised to see the totally new laundry shop. The place was renovated with modern , technologically advanced equipments. The washing machines and the dryers are all brand new and can only be operated by the laundry cards, which makes it safer to use especially during this time of pandemic. And to top it all, Linda, the owner is hands-on, very helpful and friendly . The cost of services is competetive and reasonable. We definitely found a good place for doing our laundry.
