I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this dental office. From start to finish, the…read morelevel of professionalism and patient care fell far below what I expected. Communication was poor, appointments were not handled efficiently, and I felt my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. The staff appeared disorganized to my case, and the overall experience left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a patient. What was most concerning was the lack of transparency regarding treatment recommendations and costs. I did not feel that adequate explanations were provided, making it difficult to make informed decisions about my dental care. I originally came in for a routine cleaning about a year and a half ago with no pain, sensitivity, or concerns regarding my teeth. During the visit, I was told I had a couple of cavities that were not a major concern, but I agreed to have them treated anyway. Since that treatment, I have experienced constant pain and sensitivity that I never had before. I can no longer comfortably bite into foods as simple as chicken without pain, and drinking anything cold causes significant discomfort. What should have been a straightforward procedure has turned into a year-and-a-half-long ordeal. Over this period, I returned multiple times to report the same symptoms. Rather than seriously addressing my concerns, I was repeatedly told that the work had been performed professionally and that the discomfort would eventually go away. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, and now more than a year later, the pain remains and has only gotten worse. The treatment was redone five separate times, yet the issue was never resolved. Despite acknowledging the ongoing problem by repeatedly redoing the work, the conversation than became that there was no need to continue and that "these things happen with age." This explanation is difficult to accept considering the pain began immediately after treatment and was never present beforehand. What has been most frustrating is feeling dismissed throughout the entire process. During my most recent visit, after more than a year of consistently reporting the same symptoms, I felt as though my concerns were not taken seriously. At one point, I was even left with the impression that the dentist questioned whether the pain I was experiencing was real. No patient seeking help for a persistent issue should be made to feel that way. I have placed a tremendous amount of trust in this healthcare provider. I trusted this office to improve my dental health, and instead I have been dealing with pain, sensitivity, repeated appointments, and unanswered concerns for over a year. I want to make it clear that this review is not directed at the dental assistants or "most" of the front desk and scheduling staff. In my experience, the majority of them were kind, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about helping patients. My concerns are specifically directed toward the individuals responsible for handling my ongoing care. Is what made this such a frustrating and uncomfortable experience.

Consult and surgery all within a week which was very convenient for me and my work. I tend to bruise easy but had little to NO bruising on my face, some bruising with the IV(to be expected). I iced my face to help with the swelling but also had little to no swelling! Took antibiotics and Ibuprofen as directed so I truly wasn't in ANY pain just some muscle soreness. Approximately six months earlier, she had been advised that she might eventually need a root canal and was prescribed ibuprofen to help manage her discomfort. During today's follow-up visit, my wife explained that she had begun experiencing discomfort again and simply asked whether she could be prescribed ibuprofen. She specifically requested ibuprofen--not narcotics or any controlled substance. Unfortunately, according to my wife, Dr. Elaheh Habibi's response and demeanor made her feel as though she was being treated like someone seeking drugs rather than a patient seeking appropriate treatment for dental pain. This was completely unacceptable and deeply concerning. There is a significant difference between appropriately evaluating a patient's request for pain management and making a patient feel judged, stereotyped, or accused because they asked for a commonly prescribed non-narcotic medication. My wife deserved to be treated with dignity, professionalism, and respect. I work in the medical field myself, and I understand the importance of responsible prescribing and the need to protect patients and providers. However, professionalism also means communicating with patients respectfully, listening to their concerns, and avoiding behavior that can make a patient feel stigmatized or humiliated. I believe this incident warrants serious attention. No patient should leave a medical or dental office feeling as though they were treated like a drug seeker simply because they asked about ibuprofen. I am requesting a formal apology from Dr. Habibi and an explanation regarding how my wife was treated during this encounter. I also intend to pursue the appropriate channels for reporting this incident to the applicable licensing and regulatory authorities so that the matter can be properly reviewed. This is not about demanding medication. This is about demanding respect, professionalism, accountability, and appropriate patient care. I will not tolerate my wife or any patient being treated in a manner that compromises their dignity. I expect this matter to be taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
