There is lots of local vendors, food trucks, artisans selling handcrafted goods. There are also several shops and restaurants open in the area. Live music acts through the market. Kid and family friendly. I highly recommend this farmers market happening in historic Downtown Murrieta on the first and third Thursday of each month from 5-9 p.m.

The prices are a little high but it's well worth it to support our local farmers. The fruits and veggies are always nice and fresh. There aren't nearly as many vendors on Wednesdays but if you are just going for fruits and vegetables you won't be disappointed. Angel Farms is my favorite vendor but I do like them all. Atkins nursery from Fallbrook comes down and they always have local avocados.

So one day I was here and wanted to get manadrins. There wasn't a price posted, so I sent a guy there to ask for me. He told me $1.29/lb. When I rang it up at self-checkout, it came up as $1.99/lb and when I told the self-checkout attendant there that it should be $1.29 - she said the guy I asked had asked her and it's $1.99, it's what the system says. Other places with good customer service like Ralph's Murrieta would apologize, trust my word, and adjust it. Bad customer service from Cardenas - and the only reason they got 3 instead of 4 stars here.
