Grabbed dinner here last night and was very impressed. Service was excellent-- very attentive and gave just enough breathing room in between courses. The atmosphere is beautiful as well. Low-lit and cozy. The food was awesome. I got the steak tartar as a starter followed by the 8oz filet and the black grouper. Each plate was thoughtfully composed from head to toe and the flavor is killer. Perfect portions. Would highly recommend!

Wow! Fantastic food. Went there for light lunch. The fish was fresh We added lump crab cakes to our fish. The potatoes had shiratake mushrooms ..yummy!

What a fabulous restaurant! I had not been in a while, and despite some challenges finding it due to construction nearby, it was such a lovely event with a group of about 20 people. The food was phenomenal. I had the onion soup in a vegetarian broth, and it was delicious. I also had a salad with beets and a crabcake. People in my group ordered everything possible from the menu, and there was not one single complaint. Everyone loved it! I finished my lunch off with a wonderful caramel crème brûlée. The service was excellent as was the ambience. I will definitely be returning!

I tried this place on a whim with a friend while we were in town for 48 hours and decided on it from others' Yelp reviews, I am so glad we did. I cannot rave enough from the ambience when you walk into the smoky wood smell to the friendly staff to the exquisite food -do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a Sage dinner! Though we didn't have a reservation, they still managed to welcome us with sweet Southern hospitality. A quick glass of delicious wine at the bar and they found space for us at a comfy table for dinner. Started with the crabcakes and deviled eggs, (no filler), and our server was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The deviled eggs were also exquisite! We both decided on the fish as they are known for their seafood, I had the snapper which was a delight to the pallet, and my friend had the salmon which he absolutely loved. We split a bottle of the Russian River Valley, Chardonnay, and thoroughly enjoyed our cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake desserts. I cannot tell you what a wonderful experience this was, I can only recommend that you try it for yourself.

Never been at dinner so I was forced to try new things!!! Some gold and some eh. I'm just glad they allowed me in because I came after a day of checking out four springs and was dressed beach casual at best so thank you for that lol!!! OF COURSe I had to have the French onion soup. Which was delish as always!!! Tried a salad with beets. Now I hate beets. I have had them 1 million different ways and no matter what, I just don't like them, but these were absolutely delicious!!! I also got a side of the brussels sprouts, which was divine and I over ordered and got a side of basmati rice. It was dry and not tasty at all. I had the brownie, which was also dry and idk not choclately. My only disappointments of the eve. Service and everything else good!!!

This place is only receiving a 4 because we had to wait at lunch 3 top for 45 minutes. Server was quiet, but friendly. The bartender actually sold us on what to order (where we waited on a table bc there were three of us we couldn't order there either the couple and single person who came in sat at the bar and ordered). The shrimp burger was the stand out. The chicken sandwich was a close second. Highly recommend! Make sure you have a reservation.

I had recently heard that this place is a Michelin notable and now I know why. Don't be fooled by the nondescript, gray exterior, the inside is adorable and cozy. Valet is complementary which is a nice touch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Service is incredibly quick from the time you order to when you receive your meal. Food was absolutely delicious. Hubby and I ordered a few appetizers as well as the chefs tasting menu and it did not disappoint. The appetizers we chose were the charred octopus and the fire roasted oysters. Both were wonderful but the octopus was a standout. For the tasting menu, it changes daily and is 4 courses with a dessert course to round out the meal. Ours happened to include: Sausage w olive tapenade, Filet w tomato and veggie chow chow (so tasty), Duck tostada w avocado crema, Elk filet w hasselback potatoes and asparagus (show stopper), and Orange rice pudding w pistachio cookie crumble which was such a nice, light way to end the meal. One thing to note: they automatically add 18% gratuity to your bill which is split between all front of house and back of house staff. Anything you leave above this will go directly to your waiter. There is a card they leave when they drop off the bill that explains this more eloquently than I am but I found it to be unique that they openly discuss it instead of adding it to the bill with no notice or explanation.

Loved the Bison hats some of the line cooks bravely donned! Then there's the Bison. Got the short ribs. I could eat these often. Never had beef that compared. And, Bison is grass-fed and free range to boot, lol, on Ted's thousands of acres of protected prairie lands. Three months later, different day, same quality experience. For two people, take the bar seats with kitchen line view. Be patient and courteous, and it will pay off. Saw a lot of messy large parties and some entitled customers. Get reservations if there are more than two diners. Did I say they have the Bartenders make the deserts!? I would parse that out to speed up things. When I read the email announcing tonight's Chef's dinner, we couldn't resist. No one, and I mean NO ONE, can fry an oyster better than Chef. Perched atop a great classic--deviled egg with bacon bits--the oyster was tender with a light batter-fried coating. Chef's duckfat cornbread drizzled with just the right amount of avocado butter provided the perfect podium on which two blackened shrimp lightly dusted with a hint of subtle spices rested. If you know me, you know I don't like my food to hurt me, and this dish met my requirements with a whisper of, "Here I am." Now, my hubby doesn't like anything with coffee, so he was worried about the hickory smoked chicken with espresso molasses BBQ sauce. However, he admitted the sauce didn't have any hint of coffee and, in fact, it was a delicious complement to the chicken. As for the pancetta Mac 'n' Cheese, its creamy cheesiness balanced out the smokiness of the chicken. Chef Joseph often offers one of his Pot de Crème varieties to finish a meal. I always look forward to them. Tonight's Pineapple White Chocolate version was a perfect finish to a perfect dining experience. Sparkling wines and summer--the perfect pairing. However, on a recent trip I discovered something a bit disturbing and honestly confusing. I was with a group of colleagues, and three of us have Alpha Gal (red meat allergy caused by the lone star tick). Thankfully I desensitized myself enough that I can eat SOME red meat. The other two are highly sensitive. I ordered the wings again and passed them around to share. One of my AG friends ate one and the other asked the waitress if there is cross contamination. We were informed that the wings are fried in BEEF tallow. I panicked because the one friend is so sensitive that she can't even go to a petting zoo with hoofed mammals without reacting. So lucky that she had taken an Allegra that day which helps with the allergy enough that one wing fried with beef fat won't cause anaphylaxis. However, if the other girl had eaten it, she very likely could have had a terrible reaction. It does not state on the menu that the wings are fried in beef tallow. It's very important that allergens such as this are noted. I would never have thought myself that it was fried in beef fat. I would've thought it was vegetable or peanut oil. I would hope that this restaurant will add red meat allergens to their menu as Alpha Gal is becoming more and more common. Better yet, don't use beef products to cook chicken products.

I again explained the issue. I was then told that it didn't matter, the order was already started and since it's paid, there's nothing they can do. No refund, no remaking or anything, only telling me to order later next time, but they will keep my food hot until 3:15-3:30 when my son can pick it up. I let her know if I hadn't immediately been placed on hold when I called, this could have been rectified pretty easily. No help. The food had not be dry, overcooked, or un-edible or I will be going to corporate. This will be the last time this large family orders from here. By the way my son picks up our orders on his way home from work, since we live another 45 minutes outside of town. So my food will be over 2 hours old by the time I receive it.
