Wonderful coffee and bagels! I have no complaint about the quality of the product or the service. So why not five stars? That shall be the focus of my rant today. Lol! I have been loyal to Everbloom Coffee which I also recommend. However, when I heard Saguaro was opening. I was excited because I assumed they would have better hours than Everbloom. Much to my surprise the two coffee shops have the exact same limited hours. Thete must be a method to this madness, but to me 7 AM is a tad too late for the workday. And closing at 4 PM on a Friday and Saturday seems to be missed opportunities. In addition, in the downtown area that is growing I would have thought there would be open mic nights and poetry slams and something to go with that new old town downtown Indio vibe. Seems like missed opportunities. So we have two excellent coffee shops in Indio yet no place in Indioto get coffee before 7am or after 4 PM. Lame! Then people have the audacity to complain about Starbucks opening everywhere. Hmmmmm. read more

The ambiance is clean and simple yet welcoming and cool. I had the banana matcha with vanilla cold foam and it was delicious. My friend tried a pistachio latte and it was very good too. We also had a jalapeño cheese bagel with turkey and chipotle cream cheese and it hit the spot. My friend had a pastry that was also fresh and delicious. I also love that the location is close to a few shops and we enjoyed a little shopping after. It's a drive from my house to get there but I'll absolutely make the effort to head back soon. The coffee is good but the service is very bland the person who took my order looked very annoyed at me even asking a question which is odd because it was my first time there and i didn't know the whole menu its almost like she wanted me to know exactly what i wanted as soon as i got up there which for me already throws me off because employees should be helpful and wanting to recommend items and it just seems like thats how they all are because the young lady who made my order didn't even call my name or anything she just placed the drinks to the side and walked away so for me i will not be going back to this shop they need to work on customer service skills it takes little effort to be nice and kind and i dont feel like this shop represents that. read more

First time here and we had a great experience! The baristas were so patient, kind, and hospitable. We've tried matcha all over town, and we are happy to say this one is the best in our opinion! I decided to try this place a second time. The first time I went I ordered a matcha. The matcha was good, but definitely not the best I've had. Yesterday, I decided to go again because of their advertisement about their sourdough bread and recently I've been trying cold brew drinks. I walked in at 7:02am (they open at 7am) and noticed the place had a lot of clutter to the left and right of me. It looked messy with what looked like supplies that had not yet been put away. I walked up to the counter and ordered a sourdough bagel - to my surprise they don't serve these until 8am. I wish I would have known (the time should be on their menu). I then asked for a cold brew with half and half and vanilla syrup. I paid and then the server notified me that they were out of half and half. I thought to myself, "Never been to a coffee shop that runs out if half and half." Oh well, I let the server know to replace with oat milk. The service was pretty fast, but I was very disappointed. The drink was extremely sweet and because I only drink coffee with half and half I was not fond of the oat milk taste. I was very excited to try this place again, but in the end, I did not have a great experience. read more

Really awesome addition to Indio :) I LOVE that they have coconut milk as an alt dairy option. So far I have been three times and ordered their iced Cafe de Olla. It has been consistently flavorful and delicious! Cinnamon roll was also freshly baked and tasty with my coffee. I bought a bag of beans and I've really been enjoying them pour-over style at home. Service was welcoming and everyone seems passionate about what they're doing! Bonus: plenty of outlets and chill vibe for working. read more

Coffee is great, but the menu really needs to be displayed bigger and more clearly. It would help the line move much faster if customers could decide what they want before getting to the register. Also, the items on the right side when you walk in could use some tidying up--it's a bit of an eyesore and cleaning it up would really improve the first impression of the space. read more

After a casual lunch down the street, we were looking for an afternoon caffeine fix and noticed Saguaro had opened. So glad we stopped ! This is a authentic coffee house, not a chain slinging over sweetened artificially flavored "desserts" I actually did order a specialty coffee, the Las Palmas, but it was a great mix of natural flavors and just enough sweet to not hide the great coffee. They really know what they're doing. I wish them great success, but not so much that they forget their original mission: coffee.
