Wow. Just wow. Food…read moreis poor quality. It's like "apathy-on-a-plate". Very small portions, and it's clear not everything is from scratch. It looks nothing like the photos on their website. Now granted, I ordered delivery. I have not met the owners or experienced their in-house service. Maybe I just had a messed up order. It happens. But the only delivery option was SkipTheDishes. They delivered to the wrong house. I walked around in the rain from house to house, looking for our food. Skip refunded the order, but by the time I found it, my dinner was cold. The driver wasn't even in the same complex. Even adjusting for the delivery error, it's still the responsibly of the restaurant owner to see everything from the customer's standpoint. This failed on every measure except price, because it ended up being free. And it still wasn't worth it. I want new businesses to succeed, and I would like this one to as well. But you simply cannot be successful if you do not care.

We pulled into town and immediately saw a Syrian restuarant. I was in my element…read more This is home made, gently seasoned Syrian food (non spicy). It reminded me of trips to the Middle East and food I've had in the homes of Syrian friends. The lentil soup was dairy free, blended with warm, fragrant seasonings. Comfort food in a bowl. The lamb/beef kebabs done beautifully with creamy hummus, fresh salad and pita. Syrian coffee was original, as is served in the Middle East, with cardamon seeds. A pristinely clean restaurant and one of the finest Syrian meals I have had in my life. Shukran, Waeel!

Professional Service. Great Food…read more Clean/Bright Environment. I was pleasantly surprised when she asked me how I'd like my "Loghmeh" done. I won't eat beef if it's cooked well done. Yes, even ground beef. So, I said med-rare and that's how it came and it was delicious. Ground Lamb and beef juicy with nicely cooked rice and sweet juicy tomatoes. The Chicken with bone-in. Very tasty. You could tell it was marinated before-hand as it was tender and grilled just right. I asked if the Dolmathes were home-made, but it isn't it's canned. It is imperative, if you're going to call yourself a Middle Easter Restaurant to serve them home-made, as truly the canned ones are disgusting and not at all representative of the Canape dish. Serving canned Dolmathes in either a Persian or Greek Restaurant is like ....a Japanese Restaurant serving you pre-made Grocery Store sushi. If I'm ever again in that quaint little city, and am craving Persian food.... they'll be on my radar.

The vaziri platter was of course a hit. And the gheimeh came with eggplant and French fries - what a fun combination! My favorite part was that each dish came with tahdig! I'll definitely be coming here again and bringing friends and family who I know love this cuisine.

Persian grocery store and ghetto restaurant(?) along Kingsway…read more Parking is available along Kingsway, as well as the side streets. The place is probably more like a grocerty store with a hot food stand attached. Took a quick look and it's definitely for the Middle Eastern market. Staff are friendly. I tried their kebab meal. Pretty tasty. Kebabs were nice and juicy. Served with pita, grilled tomato, hummus, rice, and 2 types of salad (onion and mixed). Portion size was somewhat decent. Definitely hit the spot. There is also a dessert place (La De Dessert) that is run out of the same space. The guy (owner?) gave my buddy and I a chocolate waffle sample. Pretty tasty too, though it was a bit pricey. Overall I'd come back, though there are a few other similar places in the direct vicinity. Recommended.
