From a recent 2026 Gothamist article though, 2026 will be the last year for the $6 cap so 2027 may potentially be increased to $7 cap or be eliminated. that is in the air right now. Despite the pricing/portion value, QNM is great way to try different cuisines all in one place. its a great way for growing families to chill in an open grassy area that has music and pop-ups at times (ie: HK VITA brand lemon tea had a pop up there).
