I pulled in the parking lot 5 min later and went to the front desk to ask if they accepted Apple Pay (they do), and my order was already ready!! So fast!!! I got chicken pad Thai. My husband got crab Rangoon and white chicken general tsos. The pad thai is the red kind. Online you can pick not spicy, mild spicy, medium, or extra spicy. I picked medium, but it could have used a little more spice. Still, it was a great dish, and possibly could be my favorite pad Thai in Columbus. It had great flavor and was saucy enough, but not too much. The crab Rangoon sauce was very flavorful too and the wontons were hot and the filling was tasty! My friends and I came on a Saturday evening. They seem to be popular. Lots of people coming in and out. But still spots in their parking lot! We shared dumplings and avocado summer rolls to start. They were delicious! A few of us even got avocado smoothies. Not bad! Food wise, they have both Vietnamese food and Chinese food on the menu. We each ordered our own food, but it ended up being quite a lot! Definitely a place where you can share food. I got the house vermicelli noodles. Decent. But quite a lot of noodles in it! I had leftovers. Some of my friends got: pho, pork chop with rice, Dan Dan noodles, and other items. Everyone liked their food. Staff were nice too. I love the large selection of dishes at Saigon Asian Bistro. The food was served quick and the dinner portions were huge. The chicken fried rice and the chicken Pad Thai were each big enough for two people. I ate the Pad Thai and even with a huge appetite I could only finish a little more then half the dish. The service was friendly and the servers all seemed to be working very hard to make sure all of the customers were taken care of. It's a Saturday night, so this place was packed and we still got served quickly, treated with great customer service and the meals were delicious. The most unique Asian food you'll have in your life. Service was good and the staff were nice. So nice that the chef came out to make sure we made it to our car watching us intently just in case he needed to call 911 after we left. We ordered the chicken egg role, and spring roles. Root beer and water to drink. Spring roles were very greasy and had the delicious frozen smell and taste like eating a dishrag that had been frozen for 3 days. The egg role was interesting and smelled like rotten cabbage. The texture was great with a crunchy wrap but the inside is something I wouldn't attempt to eat that again. Root beer was good and the water gave us no worries. Beef and vegetables and the dragon phenix was nothing like the pictures you see online or in the menu. First the beef was cooked perfectly for anyone with dentures or who has a hard time chewing. It was really soft, didn't have the texture of beef, and just a tad shy of being drinkable through a straw. The dragon phenix was interesting as well. The chicken and shrimp was freezer burned and inedible. The chicken was almost drinkable which seems to be a theme and the shrimp was off color and had freezer polyps that I spit out This place is not 4.2 stars and to be honest should't be allowed to serve food at all. If you do eat here I would recommend going directly to your favorite diuretic fast food place to help purge Saigon Asian Bistro before it is too late, keep 911 on speed dial, or ask the chef fallow you home as he should understand how horrible the food is and be concerned for anyone eating it. No pictures as they wouldn't do the smell of the food any justice and we exited the place extremely fast. Not recommended for anyone who appreciates Asian food. read more

Got carryout since that's all you can get, and I wanted something better than fast food after a trip to Meijer. Called it in; you go around back for the low-contact pickup. That worked very well. Mom got sesame chicken and liked it. I got Sweetie some veggie lo mein, which she said was very good. We shared some egg rolls: meh, okay, but we like our favorite Asian Kitchen's much better. I overordered so I had meals for that day and next: a lunch Mongolian beef, and a dinner pad Thai. The Mongolian beef was very good; it is my go-to at Chinese places, to see how they do things. Tender beef, savory sauce, not all onions. The pad Thai, the house version with shrimp, beef, and chicken I think, was very good. Moderately spicy (for me, a spice lover.) As a matter of fact every Mother's Day for the past years that reservation in this place is a must. Food is always excellent. The service is always great considering with my big family. The ambiance is wonderful. Clean and very affordable. Celebrated my birthday last December and came back in January for my son's send off party. They have the corner always for our family. My husband loves this place when he gets a craving for Empress Chicken. It's the only restaurant that does it right - with mushrooms and no broccoli. I order the Hunan Chicken (my usual) and my daughter got Hot and Sour soup. Our only taste complaint is that everything could have a little more spice. Last time my Hunan was almost a sweet gravy, so I made sure to add a comment to please make it spicy the next time. (It wasn't - but it wasn't gravy, so that's a win.) This was a good little spot to grab lunch on a Saturday while running errands. It was busy this Saturday in the early afternoon but we were seated immediately and service was prompt. We started off with steamed dumplings and they were just okay--nothing mind blowing here. Your average frozen dumplings. We both ordered Singapore noodles for our mains and they were very large portions with plenty of protein including egg, chicken, pork and shrimps. My ask of medium spicy was in fact a good medium spicy. I'd like to try some other entrees on the menu--they offer Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese. Lots of people were enjoying pho. We used Grubhub to order from here recently and everything went very smoothly. We got the spicy beef noodle, the pork vermicelli noodle, the mala string beans and the bbq spare ribs. I really liked the spare ribs -- but they are very sweet (more Hong Kong style). The Vietnamese style vermicelli noodles were also very flavorful once you mix in all the sauces :). We got the mala string beans at their spiciest level and they were pretty good (and not very spicy). The spicy beef noodle soup was also good and plentiful -- although it did need a dash of salt. I wouldn't consider this an authentic Chinese restaurant (at least based on the Grubhub menu), but the dishes we got, were very good. read more

This place is a hidden gem. I love pho! I ordered some summer rolls, and a raw beef, and meatball pho. Freaking awesome. The summer rolls were loaded, and they provided the usual peanut sauce, and had some of their own in house hot sauce. It was great. The broth was on point for flavor. They brought out basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños, hoisin sauce, and sriracha. The meatballs were the best I have ever had. The beef was great as well. I like extra sriracha so they hooked me up. I decided to try it the next day as well. I got the seafood pho the second go around. It had imitation crab meat, two different types of fish balls, shrimp, and some calamari.
