Got some large spicy teriyaki bowls to go. They are not stingy with their chicken. I got leftovers for two more meals! The flavor is so delicious. It's spicy but not too spicy. There is a side of veggies with cabbage and broccoli that made you feel healthy. The cashier was so nice. Giving this place 3 stars because the teriyaki chicken and vegetables were well seasoned and flavorful, but don't get the rice as a side. Might as well have been a bowl of mush, as I'm guessing it was already soft and overcooked to begin with, and then made unbearably soggy after throwing the teriyaki sauce on top. That was not the case the food is prepared cooked to order which I perfer, that way I know my food is fresh. The food was good and I think the portions are nice size. Teriyaki Madness. My home away from home. I love Teriyaki madness. I was first introduced to it a few years ago. But I've been hooked ever since. It's legitimately so good I could eat it everyday. There were some weeks where I'd eat it for lunch week in and week out. The service there is always great and the people there are kind and friendly. They offer chicken katsu, spicy chicken, beef teriyaki, chicken teriyaki, salmon, tofu, and a couple other things and sides. Fried rice and Yakisoba noodles are an extra $1. Staff was very nice and patiently taking my order because I couldn't make up my mind. Service was a bit slow, seemed like they had a lot of carry out orders. We got a large sized spicy chicken with brown rice and veggies and regular sized salmon with brown rice and veggies, and for each dish, you get a teriyaki sauce condiments cup. Overall, the spicy chicken's flavor was pretty good and I thought their teriyaki sauce was yummy! The spicy chicken tasted a bit ketchupy to me, like very sweet ketchup blended with a spice, might be Sriracha based or similar. I thought the chicken itself was very dry, so having the sauce was helpful! The veggies I got were 2 broccoli heads and maybe an ice cream scoop of cabbage. The salmon had pretty good flavor, but the salmon was also cooked too dry. Overall, I was disappointed with the meal but I would probably come back to try again! The flavors of the sauces were pretty good, unfortunately the food was just not cooked well. We spent $25 for two people and got a decent amount of food; a good amount of chicken but could have used more salmon. I probably go hear too often if I'm honest. I really am a fan, wish I could give 5 stars, BUT I'd say they struggle with consistency, sometimes rice is overcooked, sometimes it's undercooked. Generally the chicken is cooked perfectly, today it was dried out. Occasionally parts of my order will be forgotten, like the sauces for example or the additional portion of chicken that I pay for. Typically I order spicy chicken and it's a really good heat level, but a couple times it has tasted like they spiced it twice or something, and it was overly spicy. I'd conservatively estimate that 50 percent of the orders I place have something that doesn't meet the standard they have set for themselves with the orders that they make perfectly. When they do put all the elements together correctly the food is great. Also their app is very good and makes ordering ahead simple. Like I said, I'm a fan, I don't eat at 95% of the fast food options out there for health reasons so it's good to have this place as a quick option. I will continue ordering and if consistency improves could come back and bump up to 5 stars. read more

Mixed reviews from my family at this place. I liked the steak for the most part. The thicker pieces were chewy but the thinner pieces were nicely charred and crispy. The tofu was great, but you have to add your own sauce. There's regular teriyaki sauce on the tables, so that's fine. I was invited to come by and try some of their new menu. The space is big and clean since they opened up about a year ago. There is also a spacious parking lot out front. We got crab Rangoons, chicken eggrolls, a spicy chicken bowl with fried rice, a chicken teriyaki bowl with noodles, and a side of orange chicken. Those crab rangoons were STUFFED! Super delicious with the sweet chili sauce. The eggrolls had good flavor and came with a sweeter gyoza sauce for dipping. The orange chicken was delicious. Just the right amount of zest. The bowls were good too. My favorite is the fried rice. The flavor profile is just on point. The noodles weren't over cooked and the chicken was not dry. The only thing is the spicy chicken was slightly too salty, but they put lots of seasoning on it. It does have a kick so be careful if you're not into spicy foods. All the bowls come with veggies so it makes it feel healthier :) They have online ordering too and varying sizes for the bowls. It's about $8-$11 for a bowl, depending on what you get. My regular order is regular size Teriyaki chicken, mixed vegetables and white rice. I also order extra teriyaki sauce for the rice. The chicken thighs have that sweet soy sauce ginger flavor with the right amount of char that gives it that backyard grill taste. Mixed Vegetables are steamed and are also great with extra sauce. The rice is honestly surprisingly perfectly cooked. Only one time did I have it where it was a little under cooked. I love this place and it's my choice over Panda Express or Chipotle. Teriyaki chicken is my favorite Asian dish and I've had a hard time finding some that's good in cbus. The sauce is a bit saltier than I would like, but it pairs nicely with the veggies and meat. I got their regular sized bowl and it's a lot of food. They offer a smaller size and one that's even bigger. Overall the chicken is tender, and the steamed veggies are great. The rice was perfectly cooked. I enjoyed the egg roll a lot. While I do wish the sauce has a little more sweetness to it, I enjoyed this meal and will be back. I ordered take out but there are plenty of room to be separated from everybody else while waiting. Now on the food. I ordered the spicy chicken with rice bowl and a spicy chicken and orange chicken combo with noodles bowl. Both are good! I even went back the week after for the regular teriyaki chicken. The meat was tender and flavorful with a touch of that flame broiled char. The sauce was a nice balance of sweet and salty. Do ask for the spicy sauce on the side and douse it on everywhere! each bowl comes with veggies. Which are perfectly fine veggies. The regular teri chicken comes with broccoli, perfectly cooked with a bit of a snap and not mushy. The spicy chicken comes with a combo of cabbage, and some other veggies and also good! Their crab rangoon is also good, although the filling is a tad skint, but it's still good. In fact, my husband actually prefer Teri-Mad's crab rangoon. Overall, I highly recommend Teriyaki Madness. Fire lunch spot I've ordered pickup through the online ordering system on 3 separate occasions (all during lunch hours) and have never had an issue. Never any problems with the order; it's always been ready at the promised time. The staff is super friendly and quick to assist. For dining in, there's hardly ever a line and the location is so spacious that I can't imagine you'd have trouble finding a table. I've gotten both the spicy and regular Teriyaki Rice Bowls and let me tell you, they both slap!!! The chicken is always super tender, juicy, and packed with flavor; the veggies are always crisp and fresh. If you like spice, go for the spicy and add some extra sauce on top to gas that mouth up. if you're looking for a job don't work here. I usually don't do reviews for jobs but this one I HAVE to do. I didn't work here for long but the ownership and manging is TERRIBLE. I only ever called off once the whole time i've been there and when I did they said it was a point towards my unexcused absence. I told them I woke up throwing up and on the toilet and they still didn't care. They also weren't giving me the hours they said they would give me. I put my two weeks in shortly after. It wasn't worth it only to be paid 11.00$ an hour. On top of that when I first started working there I asked if how cash tips were handed out and they said on my paycheck, I never recieved any tips whatsoever and the only time I did was when I kept asking about them when I put my two weeks in. I'm kind of picky when it comes to Americanized Chinese, Japanese, and Thai takeout places. Too many places are too oily, too dry, too inconsistent... just not that appetizing. The general mediocrity lead me to learn to make General Tso's Chicken and Singapore Noodles at home in 2020, and I never really went back to takeout. But after moving to Westerville, I was tired, had only oatmeal in the cupboard, and needed something hearty to eat. I decided to try Teriyaki Madness, and was pleasantly surprised. Their website promises no gut-bombs, and they deliver. So far I've tried three items, and would get two of them again. The orange chicken was well flavored and tender. The chicken teriyaki, yakisoba style, was delicious as well. The veggies are consistent - green broccoli, not-too-overwhelmed-by-the-sauce zucchini. The chicken katsu I probably wouldn't get again. Katsu, it turns out, means fried, and it's basically friend chicken cut into strips. Not nearly as flavorful as the teriyaki or orange chicken. Although I'm not as into fried chicken as most people I know, so if you are, you might like it. Overall I'm really happy to find this place so close to home, and will be back. Yeah, it's technically a chain, but there's only one of them in Ohio so it might as well not be, and it's about 1000% better than the orange chicken you can get at the Columbus Convention Center. read more
