    Grilled Prawn on Mango Salad
    Lauren B.

Feels like a summer melt in my mouth. Everything was so fresh, unique and well-seasoned. Such a sunshine treat to my palate. We ordered 4 dishes: Summer rolls: Beautifully made. The crispy tempura shrimp paired really well with the salad, especially purple cabbage. Tangy sweet and sour sauce was a nice touch. Octopus fried rice: This one got me on chokehold. Never really try anything like this before. If I have to describe this in one phrase, I would say bursting with flavor. I love how the rice is super fluffy and the octopus is chewy but tender at the same time. But I do think its sauce made all the different. Can come back just for this one alone. Ceviche on bánh phồng tôm: This one is super random but it's the kind that made your day. I got to talk to the owner and she told me the story about how she built her recipes from scratch and her time learning cooking in Japan, so she invited me to try this ceviche. I'd say it tastes like a savory ice cream. The buttery avocado complements the tuna, carrot and cucumber like a match made from heaven. But I don't think this dish is on the menu haha. Prawn on mango salad: Really unique take on mango salad as it's not heavy on seasoning at all; but still full of flavors and fragrances. It has cassava, apple, mango, carrot and mint tossed well in some kind of sweet fish sauce. Prawns are huuuge!! Big plus. Place has a warm and rustic ambiance with wooden accent. Big bar wrapped around and also has a boba place next to it. Lots of parking and seatings so really family friendly. My server Jennie was kind and energetic! The owner are super ambitious about what she does, also really funny and approachable Overall, this place is more on a higher price side, but definitely worth your time and money. Support local business! FIVE STARS

We've been coming here for years and the food has always been consistently delicious and dependable. When the restaurant changed ownership a few years ago, we were happy to find that the quality remained just as strong. We heard the new owner made a real effort to learn the original recipes and uphold the standards set by the family who ran it for so many years and that dedication truly shows in the food. The location itself is warm and inviting and familiar in the best way, it's part of what keeps us coming back. While the staff is consistently kind and friendly, the level of attentiveness doesn't feel quite the same as it once did. That said, we will always return because the bone broth they prepare for the pho is truly exceptional.

Food was ok, not bad but not good enough for me to come back since I live in Westminster and it was pretty pricey. I paid I think it was $25 for a salmon plate.

Food was good and presented nicely. Good selection from the menu and I tried the vermicelli noodles. First time here and will return.

Let's be honest, people get pho to cure their hangover, but this place doesn't just cure hangovers they actually have love in their food! Their broth is very rich in flavor, they also have high quality meat. Ask for the owners home made chili sauce, it elevates the broth even more. The service is great! The owner was very friendly to her customers and the waiters got whatever you asked for immediately. The ambiance of the place feels very warm. Marble bar top and decorated with plants around the restaurant with lights that set the mood for a nice dinner. This is my new top pho spot. I'll most likely be here on Sunday morning after my Saturday night of heavy drinking.

We got 5 different dishes, our least favorite was the garlic noodles. But everything else was really good, pho, steak garlic fried rice and vemecelli noodles. We will be returning!

Love the scenery and we were the here before opening time.

It's our first time here. Food and ambience deserves recognition. The waitress is really nice. The restaurant has many variations in food choices.

We walked in on a Sunday afternoon to a fairly empty restaurant and were told we could take a seat anywhere we'd like. Presotea is located inside the resteraunt and you can order their drinks while dining in or you can just walk up to the counter and order. Service was friendly but not very attentive. I ordered the Shrimp Spring rolls and requested that the cabbage be omitted. They arrived filled with cabbage. The server happily took them back and brought the new rolls which still had traces of cabbage. The order comes with two and overall, they were good. We also tried the Signature Steak Filet Mignon Fried Rice. The picture showed the dish topped with a fried egg. Unfortunately, we missed the disclaimer stating that the fried egg was an extra charge. Once the rice arrived, we didn't feel like waiting for the egg. It would have been nice if the server would have asked if we wanted it topped with an egg. The dish was tasty. However, some meat was chewy and the rice was a bit overcooked with some of the rice being a bit hard. From Presotea, we ordered the Brown Sugar Creme Brule. This drink was really good! Overall, it was great to try. But, we most likely won't be back to Saigon District. I would say Presotea is worth a visit.

THANK YOU SO MUCH CHEF RACHEL AND THE ENTIRE TEAM! KELLY, BRIAN AND RAIN! Pho was absolutely amazing. Soup was fantastic and vibes were incredible. Owner took 2 years to become an apprentice to be able to learn how to make ramen and cook at a famous Japanese restaurant. Apparently it was a famous sensei that taught her but she didn't know. COME TRY!

I been here so Many times!! Free drink if you check in! The good is Always Clean ingredients! The staff is always amazing! Support your local business!

My friend and I happened to be in the area and came across a TikTok showing the food at VOX…read moreKitchen, and we immediately said, "Okay, we HAVE to try this place." And I am SO glad we did because everything about our experience was seriously a 10/10! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was amazing. The gentleman at the front greeted us and escorted us to our table, and right away we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our server, Quang, was absolutely the sweetest! He was so friendly, outgoing, attentive, and helpful, especially when it came to giving us recommendations since it was our first time there. He had such a positive energy and really made our experience even better. And the FOOD!!! If I could give it 1,000/10, I seriously would. We tried the Ube Cloud, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Garlic Parmesan Fries, Spicy Shrimp Wontons, Corn Ribs, Garlic Butter Prawns, and Filet Garlic Noodles, and honestly, there wasn't ONE thing we didn't enjoy. Everything was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. But what really stood out to us was that it wasn't just the food -- it was the entire experience. The staff, the atmosphere, the music, and just the overall vibe made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The music they were playing was amazing too! My friend and I were enjoying ourselves, eating good food, listening to good music, and just having such a great time. The whole place honestly had such a warm, homey feeling to it. When we were leaving, the gentleman who had greeted and seated us earlier ended up having a whole conversation with my friend and me. He was so sweet and personable! He mentioned that they may be opening a location in Culver City, and I told him I really hope they do because that would be much closer to home for me. I was even joking with him that if they open one, they need to bring the whole staff from this location over there too because everyone here was THAT amazing. At the same time, even if there ends up being a location closer to me, I would honestly still make the drive back to this one. When you visit somewhere for the first time and have such a great experience, that location becomes special. You can visit the same restaurant somewhere else, but the people, atmosphere, and experience aren't necessarily going to feel the same. This location definitely left that kind of impression on us. I really hope this review reaches management because the staff here deserves the recognition. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful, and Quang especially took such great care of us. This was our first time at VOX Kitchen, but it DEFINITELY won't be our last. We're already talking about coming back and bringing our family and more of our friends so we can all enjoy it together. 10/10 food. 10/10 service. 10/10 atmosphere. 10/10 experience. You guys definitely gained some returning customers!

Saltado fries with picanha: fries were deliciously fried so that it's crispy but doesn't get soft in the saltado sauce. The picanha was super tender and juicy! Corn ribs: just finger licking delicious Chifa fried rice with filet mignon: fried rice was solid but didn't have the most wok hey flavor that I usually like. It was a bit too moist for fried rice. Filet mignon was a bit tough, but flavor was good! Garlic noodles with crispy salmon: yummy salmon and yummy garlic noodles (could be more garlicky). I wonder if these two could have been more cohesive together somehow, but both individual parts were good! My friend told me this restaurant's owner had a few other fusion restaurants in the plaza, so I'll have to try those as well!

I personally liked the filet mignon more, but bf likes the beef belly more. They're both yum though! We always get extra bread with The Dao bc the slices they give are never enough! And we use the extra bread for the Banh Mi Chaos too. I'm usually not the biggest fan of asian fusion places, but Nep Cafe does it really well. For their other food, I've also had the Seafood Tom Kha Pasta which is incredible in flavor to Tom Kha. So if you don't like Tom Kha, then don't get this! We've had the crab toast which wasn't my favorite. I think their banh mi bread is tons better, so maybe have banh mi bread with the crab. The drinks are also delicious! I had the thai princess and it reminded me of the lychee martini at din tai fung, but better!! I loved the addition of lemongrass, it wasn't as alcohol forward like din tai fung's lychee martini. I also tried the beer that had a citrus flavor to it which is nice and a refreshing pairing to the creamy saucy food. Their coffees are also delicious, you can tell from looking around when you walk in bc everyone orders the drinks! Overall, all time fav brunch, I recommend Nep Cafe to everyone Service is always fast and friendly. Ambiance is beautiful for a brunch w the fam or going out w friends. What an awesome gem of a spot here in Orange County! I've been eyeing checking District 36 Diner…read moreout for the longest time - ever since they opened up earlier this year - but they have the weirdest opening hours! I always thought of them "as the restaurant with the bizarre hours" - literally four hours a day during the week (closed Mondays) - and only slightly longer hours during the weekend. Upon first stepping foot into the space - you're transformed into an old-school diner with Vietnamese influence. The walls are well decorated in Vietnamese memorabilia. I was greeted by Brian almost immediately - who directed me to a spot "wherever I'd like to sit" - and I opted for one of the booths. Brian - is the co-owner of the diner, but is also part of "old-school" Little Saigon culinary royalty - a descendant of the family that founded the OG Song Long restaurant off Bolsa Ave. that has since shut down (known for their Cha Ca Thanh Long dish - which sadly, you can't get here). He is incredibly warm, genuine, and easy to chat with. After trying to decide between their Bo Kho variations (which is my favorite Vietnamese dish next to pho) - I settled for something new for me - their Five Spiced Chicken Fried Steak - which also comes with two eggs your way (I picked "Sunny Side up"), tater tots, and a Diet Coke. The wait was minimal - and the food was awesome! The tater tots tasted fresh - was perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and yummy on the inside. I found myself eating those first - while letting the gravy seep into my chicken fried steak to soften it up a bit. The chicken fried steak was perfectly flavored - you could almost taste a bit of pho spices with each bite. The homemade gravy was out of this world amazing - making the chicken breading soft enough for me to eat comfortably. The two sunny side up eggs had perfect yolks - I like to poke, and then suck each yolk up - before eating the whites. I appreciate Brian cranking up the AC since I forgot to bring in my portable fan - and it was a pretty warm day. Hoping to check them out again this Saturday for their take on Bun Bo Hue or maybe one of their Bo Kho dishes! Plenty of parking in the shared lot with a Grocery Outlet and Artisan 7 Leaves (which I stopped by after my lunch here). Hope to see them more busy! Brian told me he'd definitely consider opening longer hours during the week if business picks up. Check them out!! They have a unique twist on traditional diner foods with a bit of Vietnamese flair!

The diner is very clean with interesting artwork and vibrant colors. I got the Five-Spice Chicken Fried Steak, Mama's Crispy Rolls, and a cup of Chicken broth to share. The rolls were hot and crispy with fresh leafy greens. The chicken fried steak was very crispy with a consistency almost like fried chicken. The taste is different from a traditional southern type of chicken fried steak. It had an interesting flavor like a mix of the pho seasoning. It is a brownish yellowish color and tastes a little like curry. It paired well with the tots. This was a hearty but not super heavy brunch dish and having a cup of the chicken broth was perfect to wash everything down. The breakfast burrito looked very good on the menu and I might try that for on another visit. I would recommend this diner for anyone looking for one with a retro modern feel and fusion food and good service.

I've been going to Pho HP off and on for a few years now…read more It is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in my general area. If i lived closer, i would definitely go more often. It is family owned. It is located in a strip mall in Huntington Beach at the corner of Beach and Main. A very busy intersection. There is parking in front of the restaurant. They have a handicap ramp. The interior design is modern and simplistic. Everyone is always friendly and we Love Amy the owner. Although, we have been missing her over the past couple of visits. When you walk in, you'll get seated right away and the server will bring you a glass bottle of Alkaline water. Nice touch! The menu is simple and on point. They offer all the main traditional Vietnamese dishes. For starters, we ordered the crispy veggie egg rolls which comes with 4 egg rolls, the summer rolls with shrimp which also comes in 4 pieces. As a main course, we got 2 shrimp pho's with vegan broth (yes they brought back the vegan broth) Thank you Amy It is light and goes really well with the shrimp. Make sure to add lots of fresh basil for a flavor boost. And we also got the house garlic prawns which comes with either steam rice or garlic noodles as well as steamed brocoli. Everything is delicious. The Pho noodle soup is a must. It is available with different meats and broths with option of thick or thin rice noodles. In my opinion, It is the best. And i believe that most people go there specifically for their Pho. That is what got me hooked. Overall Pho HP is always a great experience and we will be back again soon. I highly recommend Pho HP.
