I've heard about this place for a while, and it's definitely one of the longtime Thai favorites in Huntington Beach. It's also featured on the recommended restaurant list by Visit Huntington Beach and earned the 2026 Thai SELECT certification from the Royal Thai Government, which recognizes authentic Thai cuisine. Their Lunch Special is an amazing deal, available daily from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Meals start at $13.99 and include crispy fried wonton strips, a small house salad, soup of the day (lightly seasoned with chicken), and your choice of entrée. Here's what we ordered: * Sweet and Sour with Crispy Chicken ($13.99) - The chicken was crispy, and the vegetables had that smoky wok hei flavor that made the dish really satisfying. * Silk Noodle Soup (Thai Style) - Ground Chicken & Shrimp ($12.99) - A Thai-style hot and sour noodle soup with a unique flavor profile. Different from the usual Thai noodle soups I've had, but very enjoyable. * Panang Curry ($13.99) - Rich, creamy, mildly spicy, and well balanced. One thing to note: the Thai Iced Tea ($6) and Thai Coconut Drink ($6) were much sweeter than what I've had at other Thai restaurants. I ended up adding quite a bit of water to balance the sweetness. For dessert, the Mango Sticky Rice ($13.99) was delicious and definitely worth ordering. The owner was also very friendly. After finishing up in the kitchen, she came out to greet customers and chat with many of the regulars, giving the restaurant a warm, neighborhood feel. Overall, it was a great lunch experience, and I'd definitely come back to try more of their wok-fried specialties. Silk Thai Cuisine 19690 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach, CA 92648

okay wow this might be my new favorite thai place! I love that they don't use MSG and sandy is the best!! we got to try the crab pad thai, pad see ew, rainbow fish, papaya salad with soft shell crab, and chicken satay. for drinks we got green thai tea and regular thai tea. the interior is very spacious and there's also outdoor seating and they have TVs too! service was so fast and everyone was so sweet and nice. food was delicious and I didn't feel bloated afterwards

$48 plus tip, for two entrees. A bit expensive

REALLY late post. I was here on 04-10-26, but forgot to review ...today was my 9/80 day off, so I was running errands all day and opted to buy dinner. Tried this place on Nate's recommendation... Although I wanted to try more entrees, I settled on two for this trip: Rainbow Fish & Crab Fried Rice... Both were tasty and plenty for two of us. However, a three star rating because two entrees for OTD $48 plus tip seems a little overpriced.

This place is truly a hidden gem. I live about five minutes away and can't believe this was my first time coming in. I happened to see it on social media and immediately knew I wanted to try it. From the moment we walked in, the experience was great. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food came out surprisingly fast. We started with the cream cheese wontons and chicken satay. The wontons were perfectly crispy, not oily at all, and the sauce had just the right amount of sweetness without being overly sugary. The chicken satay was honestly the best I've ever had--perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and the sauce paired with it beautifully. For our main dish, we ordered the drunken noodles with crispy pork belly. I got spice level 5, which was perfect for me. The noodles were flavorful and the crispy pork belly had a delicate flavor and great texture. If you're craving Thai food, I would definitely recommend checking this place out. It's a neighborhood spot worth coming back to

Thank God for social media or else we probably would've never discovered this hidden gem. Silk Thai Cuisine is tucked away in a plaza in Huntington Beach -- honestly the kind of place I probably would've driven past without a second thought. I'm really glad we didn't. We got there around 5pm on a Saturday and the place was still pretty empty. We were greeted by our server and seated right away, and the whole experience felt relaxed from the start. No rushing, no pressure. Shortly after, the owner Sandy came out to say hello. She was incredibly sweet and you could immediately tell she genuinely loves cooking and making people happy through her food. We told her how we found the restaurant and how excited we were to try it. We started with the Crying Tiger. Our server was actually surprised because she thought it was part of our entrée order and we were like, "Nope... this is just the starter!" The dish arrived beautifully presented on a bed of lettuce with vegetables on the side. The beef was juicy with that perfect char-grilled bitterness, and the dipping sauce complimented it really well. For the entrées, our group decided to each order our own dishes but also share everything -- so of course we ended up trying it all. The crispy pork belly fried rice was fantastic. The fried rice itself was already super flavorful, but the pork belly had an amazing crunch to it. Well seasoned, and when you add the fish sauce with chili? Absolute perfection. Next was the Massaman curry. This one was solid -- nothing overly flashy, but the meat was cooked perfectly and the flavors were comforting and balanced. Then came the crab fried rice, and this one really hit home for me. One of my Thai friend's dads used to cook this for us growing up, even into adulthood, and after he passed away I've been searching for a place that could bring back that same flavor. This was the first dish that truly took me back. It instantly brought back memories of him. That alone made the meal special. We also ordered the Khao Soi. My friend ordered it with chicken, but Sandy came out and insisted that it needed skirt steak -- so of course we added it. Great call, Sandy. The combination worked beautifully. Another standout was the Rainbow Fish with mango, bell peppers, onions, cilantro, and sauce. The fish was perfectly crispy and the sweetness from the mango with the sauce just worked so well together. It was so good I had to order another one to go. And finally, the absolute star of the night: the Panang Filet Mignon (Silk Beef Curry) with roti. I believe it was around a 6/10 on the spice level, but flavor-wise it was a 100/10 must-order dish. This was hands down my favorite. The richness and spice of the curry, the tenderness of the beef, and the flaky roti were just incredible. I even poured some of the curry over rice. Without question the best Panang curry I've ever had. We finished with mango sticky rice for dessert -- pretty standard, but still a nice sweet ending. By the time we finished eating, the restaurant had started to fill up. We definitely got lucky arriving early and basically receiving VIP-level service. On the drive home, my friends and I were still talking about the dishes and the overall experience. Sandy, you're definitely onto something here. Thank you for such a memorable meal. We'll absolutely be back.

My new favorite Thai spot in OC! Silk Thai Cuisine offers authentic Thai dishes made by Thai chefs! They also had some dishes that I haven't seen at other Thai restaurants before. They have a pretty expansive menu with a variety of main entrees, noodles, rice dishes, salads, appetizers, and more. My favorite dish is The Rainbow, one of their signature dishes. It's a deep-fried sole fillet that's crispy and golden brown on the outside. It's then topped with diced sweet mango, bell peppers, onions, and cilantro along with a mixed house and lime dressing, which is amazing! Highly recommend this dish! I also loved their other signature dish, the Crying Tiger. They filet mignon is char-grilled and very tender. It's marinated in a special homemade sauce that is so umami and flavorful. It's served medium rare, so it's that perfect texture. They also give mixed vegetables on the side. The chili lime dipping sauce is soo good! Their Crab Fried Rice is also delicious! It comes with a generous portion of crab which I was very happy about! I also enjoyed their Eggplant and Shrimp dish. Very flavorful! The Trio Dessert is a must--think mango sticky rice but then they make it even BETTER by adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Perfect way to end the meal!

Went to Silk Thai for dinner and we're seated right away. The restaurant was already full of people that had just placed their orders. The staff was very personable and knowledge with the food menus. Our server Natalie was cheerful and professional. We loved her service. Food was great just a little too much bean sprouts in my Pad Thai and my boyfriend Panang Curry was the best he's tasted. Thank you Solk Thai Cuisine for a wonderful dinner. We were also served a small desert for what they said "you were waiting too long" which we weren't and enjoyed it anyways.

A local favorite ! Rainbow fish - GET IT. The most delicious lightly battered crispy fish with fresh herbs and mangoes and a tangy sauce. No matter what I am ordering, I will always get this dish. Green curry from here is also a favorite. All of their curries are great in flavor. Truely isn't a dish we have had that wasn't very good. Nice cozy interior with leaning towards fine dining ambiance. Service is always great for both dine in and take out.

Authentic Thai cuisine, attentive service, food full of flavors! Tired of average Thai food, this Thai restaurant has something different, including the rainbow fish ( fried fish with mayo, mango, cilantro), roti with curry ( their roti is fluffy! ) , silk signature egg roll ( not too oily, thin & you can definitely taste it is hand made fresh). Their tom kha seafood soup include shrimp, scallop, mussels, so good! The crying tiger is very juicy. Can't sleep on their dessert. Aside from mango sticky rice, they have sweet roti with vanilla ice cream, and fried banana with coconut ice cream. Worth a sweat treat.

Although I am a foodie, I like to play it safe when it comes to Thai food. However, Silk Thai in Huntington Beach is THE spot to try out some unique dishes. Because you can trust that every dish will come out authentic, flavorful, and made with love. We especially were in awe of the HUGE Rainbow Fish--so crispy, layered under a refreshing mango salad perfect for the summer! And can't forget the insane Crying Tiger! They use filet mignon that was extra tender and delicious paired with a yummy tangy chili lime sauce. So good!!! In addition, the owner is so sweet and knowledgeable, which made our dining experience super enjoyable and memorable. We're still thinking about: Rainbow Fish Crying Tiger Green Curry Fried Wontons Eggrolls Mango Sticky Rice with Coconut Ice Cream Fried Banana with Ice Cream Green Milk Tea Thai Tea Perfect for date night, family dinners, or just treating yourself!

    Panang Curry Surf & Turf
    Melissa S.

WOW!!! This place was amazing. My friend who has visited Thailand stated that this was one of the best Thai places she had tried in the states. The ingredients were super fresh and each dish truly bursted with flavor. Not pictured here but we also tried the rainbow... oh my god it was delicious! The rainbow is fried fish with fresh veggies... it was super delicious. We had the surf and turf, panang curry, pad see-ew, and mango sticky rice. The pad see-ew had a really delicious smokey/char favor. The panamg curry was so flavorful. The garlic noodles in the surf and turf didn't have much depth but the filet mignon and shrimp cooked to perfection. I will definitely be driving two hours again just to eat here! The staff was kind and attentive to our needs.

11-22-2025 I haven't been here for awhile. Food and customer service is always exceptional. I had my favorites spicy eggplant with soft shell crab and fried bananas for dessert. Ambiance is clean and cozy. Highly recommended for Thai cuisine. I've been going here for years.

Seafood malfadine was just honestly somewhat bland, especially when you have dishes like the spicy miso carbonara which was my favorite thing there by far. The burrata caprese appetizer was also a complete hit as everyone in my party loved it--my 5, 3, and 1 year old devoured it. Service is very attentive and they made sure to give a small chocolate birthday slice with candle as well to help us celebrate my wife so I appreciated that. There was this blueberry dessert we also ordered that was fire but I forgot to take a pic and don't remember the name Biggest con as to why it would not be a regular spot I would frequent is price-to-worth it ratio is not there for me. Our total for 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 babies was over $500. Now granted we did order lemonade drinks and like 1 too many pastas (had gotten 3 seafood malfadine) but even if I conservatively subtract $100 that's still over $60/adult. So while the food is good, personally I would say it's not good enough at that price point. But nonetheless a good experience!

I've been going to Pho HP off and on for a few years now…read more It is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in my general area. If i lived closer, i would definitely go more often. It is family owned. It is located in a strip mall in Huntington Beach at the corner of Beach and Main. A very busy intersection. There is parking in front of the restaurant. They have a handicap ramp. The interior design is modern and simplistic. Everyone is always friendly and we Love Amy the owner. Although, we have been missing her over the past couple of visits. When you walk in, you'll get seated right away and the server will bring you a glass bottle of Alkaline water. Nice touch! The menu is simple and on point. They offer all the main traditional Vietnamese dishes. For starters, we ordered the crispy veggie egg rolls which comes with 4 egg rolls, the summer rolls with shrimp which also comes in 4 pieces. As a main course, we got 2 shrimp pho's with vegan broth (yes they brought back the vegan broth) Thank you Amy It is light and goes really well with the shrimp. Make sure to add lots of fresh basil for a flavor boost. And we also got the house garlic prawns which comes with either steam rice or garlic noodles as well as steamed brocoli. Everything is delicious. The Pho noodle soup is a must. It is available with different meats and broths with option of thick or thin rice noodles. In my opinion, It is the best. And i believe that most people go there specifically for their Pho. That is what got me hooked. Overall Pho HP is always a great experience and we will be back again soon. I highly recommend Pho HP.

ORDERS: - Golden Pear Salad…read more - Garlic Chicken Wings - Ribeye Hot Pot Pho - Filet Mignon Garlic Noodles - Short Rib Pho - Filet Mignon Rice Everything was super tasty and well flavored! The salad had a nice balance of tangy, fresh, and savory. I liked how they added burrata to it. Wings were perfectly seasoned, garlicky, and crispy on the outside just how I like it. Their phos were delicious and so comforting. The broth is on the darker side, but it still tasted light and not too fatty. They use the thick noodles which is a plus. The garlic noodles were yummy and garlicky. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked on the medium rare side. Staff were friendly and helpful! Clean and modern space too.
