I think if they iron out the kinks this place could be better. My daughters and I ate here last night. We arrived just before 5:00p and after we got there then the dinner crowd started to roll in. I could only see one or two servers the whole time so I don't fault our server completely. However, it took quite awhile to get our drinks. Then our food. Our server came back twice to ask what we ordered. Two of the three tvs were playing CNN's coverage of a plane crash in Philly. The mood was pretty low. And it's pretty expensive for what you get. Husband and I decided to try this new place for date night on Sunday 2/23/25. We were so disappointed. It was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. We ordered grilled mussels, stirfry seafood with vermicelli noodles, mango salad with beef, salty fish fried rice, and a fruit tea. It took almost 30 minutes to get the first dish and then about every 10-15 minutes the next dish and 10-15 minutes before the next dish. They messed up on the mango salad with beef and brought us shrimp salad. We had to get their attention. Then they brought us the wrong noodles stirfry. They kept coming to ask if I have gotten my fruit tea yet but never brought it. After all the food was finally on our table they brought me milk tea and quickly walked away. Every time a dish was dropped off our table, they never made sure it was correct or if we needed anything. They would quickly walk off. It was a challenge flagging someone down. They eventually brought my fruit tea but by this time, I was hungry and frustrated. The food was horrible. Everything was overly sweet like msg, sugar and soy sauce on all the dishes, except for the fried rice which had no flavor at all. My fruit tea was so concentrated that I couldn't drink that, either. Nothing was edible! This place lack customer service, extremely disorganized, very inefficient way of running food to tables, and horrible, inedible food! Total before tips $120. Such a waste of money. We left hungry because of how gross the food was. We also watched the server take one of our wrong dish (shrimp salad), stirred it around, and take it to the correct table. We had already eaten into it when we saw the shrimp under the vegetables and herbs. Gross. What they should've done is stay to ask if we'd be OK with taking the dish we already ate into and comping that dish but no, they couldn't be bothered to check with their customers. read more

We have this place 4 tries because the food was really good. The service however was the absolute worst and did not justify a percentage of the bill. Wrong orders, inattentive, rude demeanor. The waiters will sink this place. My wife and daughter have already auto-vetoed this place, which means we probably won't give it a 5th chance. This is our new favorite place. The food is UNBELIEVABLE and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean, well decorated, and I love how the booths are elevated. We've been twice now and my husband got the Banh Mi both times, I had the chicken thigh fried rice the first time and the second time I had the chicken and vegetable lunch special. I don't know what they're putting in the rice, it's like CRACK it's so good. Just drown me in it. I can't wait to try the soup and a noodle dish. Will be back again and again. read more

I recently had the chance to try Saigon District One, a new Vietnamese spot in town, and while there are some growing pains, I see a lot of potential. The atmosphere is inviting, with a modern yet cozy feel. The staff was friendly and eager to please, though service was a bit uneven. It is understandable for a new restaurant still finding its rhythm. As for the food, there were definite highlights. The pho had a flavorful broth, rich and aromatic, with a very generous portion of meat. Our favorite item was the Vietnamese egg rolls served with lettuce and other things to wrap them up in. YUMMY! Their menu is GIGANTIC which didn't make a ton of sense to me. But I did see others ordering things that I was very interested in around me. Given that they are still ironing out the kinks, I'm hopeful that a few adjustments in consistency and timing will take this place from good to great. We went to Saigon district one for lunch on a Saturday. The food is decent. But the whole lunch took almost 2 hours. We are keep waiting for our food. At the end, they are trying to tell me that their POS system is slow and if I can pay cash. I don't usually keep much cash on me, so I told them I don't have enough. When I got I bill, they are charging for credit card fee, like 5-10% on top of the bill. This is really annoying. CO has a surcharge law that impose a surcharge must below 2%. Very disappointing at this restaurant and they sure break the law of Colorado. read more

sadly wanted to like this restaurant after driving by several times. however, upon entering, we waited about 5 minutes though there were empty tables. the man seating us was unfriendly and seemed aggravated about about something. bad vibe. when seated, there was a puddle of water next to the table. a sweet older woman brought us menus and nothing else. we sat 15 more minutes with no water, no silverware, no greeting, no server. we were compelled to quietly leave. not willing to give this disappointment another try. true waste of time and beyond disappointment. read more

This was my second time visiting this restaurant. The first time was great and I wrote a good review for them on Google. This time was a poor experience. My food was lukewarm. In the middle of our time there one of their waiters started a shouting match with a door dash driver, and it made the experience really miserable. A lady came out of the kitchen and apologized to the door dash driver, which was the right thing to do, but came a little too late. I think they should fire that male waiter. He was asking the door dash driver to go bring back the previous order that was delivered already! Who would ask something like that in a restaurant? Did he want to serve that food to the next one who would order it? The door dash driver was just doing his job, and the server shouting at him was so unreasonable. My wife has gone to this place several times and she has already decided she is not going back. The management should get their act together and fire their rude servers, make sure they serve freshly cooked food, or, they are going to lose many more customers. read more

great new restaurant. wonderful food with huge portions. a very large menu so you will never be bored or lack of something else to try, pricing seems a bit high but with the portions your getting 2 meals out of it. interior design is comfortable and contemporary. service was excellent. we will go back for sure and highly recommend. save a few bucks with the lunch menu. this restaurant deserves to thrive and survive! me and my family went to this restaurant today for dinner. when we got there we had to wait for more than 40 minutes to get our food. the services was horrible. when we got our check we only order 3 items which costed us around $60, it was very pricey. we also got extra overcharges for things we didnt order which costed the total to be $60. this was the worst restaurant experience ive been through. in result i would not recommend going here and i will not be going there again. read more
