Pork belly and beef belly + hot pot simmering right before the vermicelli, veggies, and additional meats arrived
    Mike M.

My son and I had lunch there today and our server was Srey. It was honestly some of the best Asian food I have ever had and the experience of making it ourselves was so cool. This is the type of restaurant that should be showcased by " Buns and Bites" or similar local influencers. The food was fresh and delicious, Srey had such a great energy with all of the customers, and I will honestly o again. I wish there was a location in Wakefield or South County Commons I feel it would be a hit.

I visited this establishment last night to give it a try. At first impression, the interior looked inviting with the recent renovations creating a nice atmosphere. However, it did take some time before our waitress came over to take our drink order. I think they are a bit understaffed since they opened and it does look like they still may be hiring. The menu is divided into two options: Korean BBQ or Hot Pot. I think it would be helpful if the menu included clearer instructions on how the ordering system works, as it wasn't explained until I asked. We chose the Hot Pot, but unfortunately, the experience was a bit underwhelming. Although I did like the meat options and how well the hot pot cooked, the broth I ordered lacked flavor. I would rate the food about a 5/10.

Table booths with built-in heaters for individual hot pots and a central grill for Korean barbecue

Not bad hot pot place. The booths are set up for four with built-in individual heaters for hot pots and a central grill for Korean barbecue; you can do one or the other or even both! (Though what do you do if you're a party of 5, I don't know ... guess someone eats by himself!). The broth choices are pretty good and if you're vegetarian, they'll make one up for you that's also quite tasty. You select items from an à la carte menu - 2 meats, 2 sides, 2 seafoods, 2 soy/tofu, 2 starches, and 3 veggies - and then can reorder as many more items as you wish (but there's a 2-hour limit) for your table. The hot pot items are okay; we found some of the vegetables a little less than fresh (e.g. limp Napa cabbage) and some of the meats a little tough (beef tongue was sliced too thick), but there were some tasty items like the lobster balls. The condiment table was a bit limited in sauce types - definitely missed the goma dare sesame sauce - and the soy sauce had a strange sweetness to it. Appetizers were fried egg rolls, chicken wings, fried wontons, French fries (kinda strange option to me) - and steamed blue crabs! Again, not a bad hot pot place but there are better ones out there for the money.

Very disappointed in the experience but the decor was really nice and I've been wanting to try this place out since my friends had a galentines day event here after our spa day but I had to go home so I didn't make it to the restaurant until today. Food was okay, the calamari taste like fish sticks and my husband and kids like fish sticks but I don't so I didn't eat that. My philly roll was okay but my husband and kids all loved their rolls so it's always nice when your kids are satisfied with the food. I'm on the fence as to whether or not I'd give this place another chance because it is 5 minutes away from my house but the service and overall experience was mid. The orange chicken was good nothing special so I was happy about that. I will add that the lychee sangria was probably my favorite part of this whole meal so if you want good drinks, this is your place! If you try this place out, I hope that you have a better experience than we did. It's probably the worst experience we've had in town.

I realize this review may run counter to others, but here's my take. The experience wasn't bad,…read morethough a few improvements could be made easily and in short order (pun unintended). I dined here on Christmas Day at the invitation of a relative who has eaten here a few times and swears by the clay pot dishes. The restaurant was very busy, busier than usual, I was told. We were seated quickly, which felt promising. That momentum did not continue. After we said we weren't quite ready to order since we had just sat down and a couple of us were new to the spot, we asked the server to return. She did, about 10 minutes later. From there, it became a series of waits. The appetizer arrived first, then one main dish was served, leaving the other two diners waiting another 12 minutes. Plenty of time to admire someone else's food. There were a few service hiccups. One water glass had a visible crack and took some persistent hand waving to replace. The soy sauce container was empty, and after more waving, I eventually stood up and borrowed one from a nearby empty table. Light cardio included. The dishes are pricier than average, which I'm generally fine with. The restaurant is clean, newer, and located on the outskirts of East Greenwich, which may explain the pricing. What disappointed me was my $26 eel hot pot (aka Unagi Kobayaki). While it tasted good, it consisted of four slivers of eel, yes, four, which we confirmed, a few avocado slices, and a lot of rice. For that price, it felt ambitious. I could have enjoyed a very nice sushi meal elsewhere for less. Ordering clay hot pots is not new to me. To be fair, one of my companions ordered the Boneless spare ribs hot pot and enjoyed it. That dish had noticeably more protein and felt far more balanced. In short, the food flavors are good, but the service struggled, perhaps due to the holiday rush. I may try this place again on a less busy day, but with several other options nearby, I do not yet see a strong competitive advantage.

There was a strong Korean presence, which always feels like a good sign when you're looking for something authentic and a bit outside the norm. I was especially excited to try gopchang (grilled intestines), and it ended up being both new and oddly familiar. The texture is definitely different, but not off-putting at all. When you think about it, sausage comes from similar ingredients, so it's not as foreign as it might sound. Having had sweetbreads and offals before, some of the flavor notes felt recognizable, which made it easier to appreciate. Other items, like the thin-sliced brisket, were more familiar and just as enjoyable. Everything we had was fresh and well-prepared. The space itself is clean, bright, and welcoming, with K-pop videos playing and a solid selection of Korean drinks like soju and Milkis to round things out. The side dishes were creative and accessible, including corn cheese, steamed eggs, house salad, and japchae noodles. The egg fried rice was excellent as well, and a great complement to the meats. Our group ranged from adventurous to more cautious eaters, and everyone genuinely enjoyed the experience. Cooking at the table took a minute to get used to, but it was part of the fun and easy to pick up. Service was friendly and helpful throughout. The ventilation was very good and not overly smoky, which can sometimes be an issue at Korean BBQ spots. It is a bit on the pricier side, but for a special occasion or a night out to try something new, it felt justified. This works well either as a fun date night or with a small group so you can try a variety of dishes. Even dessert was a highlight, creative and well executed. This is the kind of place that feels like a special night out, and we would absolutely go back.

We went for lunch so it was not super busy; we were maybe one of two patrons inside. It was nicely decorated, and there was a TV above our table playing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. What a good movie! They served wonton chips with duck sauce, like chips and salsa. What a nice touch! I have never seen that before at an Asian restaurant. We ordered some general Tso's chicken and then one of sushi lunch specials, which came with two rolls and either a soup or salad. I chose the salad, which is like the ones you get at hibachi. It was drowning in that orange tangy sauce, but it was still good! The sushi was good, too. Not the best I have ever had, but still good. The whole meal was perhaps $25. That's crazy for the amount of food we got! Highly recommend.
