I'm all about supporting local, but honestly - the cashew chicken we ordered for takeout was inedible. I'm only giving 2 stars because the crab rangoon and potstickers were good. But the chicken we ordered was deep fried and burned - like hard to even chew and burned tasting it was so over fried, and tiny little pieces like they were from the bottom of the fryer. And then it was accompanied by an overly sweet sweet and sour sauce? I'm pretty forgiving with Asian food, and I have had the whole range of quality from Panda Express to high end Vegas and New York. This was well below Panda Express level. Maybe an off night. I've eaten here before and the food was better. This place is WILD. It's technically a Vietnamese restaurant, but they sell basically any Asian dish popular amongst white people (understandable, given the demographics here). You want Pad Thai? No problem. Some Pho? Sure. How about some sweet n' sour chicken? Absolutely. The menu is long and elaborate, and why not? The aim is to please everybody. And okay, so the food wasn't the best I've ever had, but you have to come here for the EXPERIENCE. The interior is eclectic--paintings of ballroom dancers, lamps made to look like Chinese lanterns, old-fashioned chairs with plastic-coated seats. And the best part? A robot delivers your food. I kid you not! Her name is Dolly, she looks like a strange hybrid of a cat and a bookshelf, and she brings your food with a chirpy, "Hello! I'm Dolly! Your food is ready!" After that, I started to feel like I'd slipped into an alternate dimension, but I liked it. The food was decent. I had hot-n-sour soup, which was a little too sweet (it needed some spice to balance it out), but it was still tasty. I give this place five stars for the experience alone! read more

Wow what a gem in Evergreen! We stopped in on a Friday afternoon around 4:30 and were seated promptly. Our server was an very polite man. We had the shrimp spring rolls and hot sake to start. Both came out within minutes and were very delicious! We were tickled by the cat machine delivering food, it was so unique and adorable. The restaurant as a whole felt very clean, and some of the dishes were served on expensive looking plates with beautiful designs on them. For the main course we had the seafood lo mein and the happy family stir fry which came with white rice. Both were very large servings and so so so tasty! At first I thought the prices were a bit high, but then after being served the food I realized why. You are getting a heaping helping of seafood, which has been perfectly cooked. With that in mind, and considering how far I would have to drive to have something as good as this, it's totally worth the price. However, if you still can find the room in the pocket book, they have a lunch menu Mon-Fri until 3pm with very reasonable prices. I'll be seeing you again Saigon Landing, yum yum! read more

Aw, Saigon, I really wish I could give you 5 stars... The physical space strikes me as the Miss Habersham of Evergreen restaurants - probably was really quite the sight back in the day, but has become aged and careworn. I like the fresh veggies incorporated into the meals but the prices are steep relative to the amount of effort that seems to have been put into the dishes. If this place were just a little better and/or a little less drab/sad in ambience we might go here 1-2x/a week; instead it's more like once every 3-4 months. read more

We went to Saigon Landing for dinner tonight. Ethan and the staff were very busy tonight and we got excellent service. He was very nice, apologetic about any wait (it was not very long), and we had a delicious meal. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is excellent and for anybody who has not seen the kitty robot. Waiter, you're missing out. My kids love it and it is too cute. I have to highly recommend the lemongrass duck, absolutely delicious. The most importantly is a very friendly and caring staff who want to make sure that every guest has the best experience possible. If you haven't been, give this place a try, you won't regret it. And by the way, the sesame balls for dessert are wonderful. read more

We took some out of town guests here on a Sat. afternoon. The place was empty but we were still seated in the very back. One person in our group is gluten free. He discussed it with the waiter, and GF options were clearly marked on the menu so he felt safe to order. He was sick as a dog with flu-like symptoms the entire next day (he didn't eat anything else after this meal). This place is expensive ($25 for soup; $18 for an appetizer - there is no lunch special on the weekend) and the portions are ridiculously large. Serve a smaller bowl and charge a better price. But the soup wasn't even good. 3 people each ordered a different variety and no one liked it. The meatball pho was gross. Tasted like dirty water and the meatballs I think were sausage. I ordered a New Zealand Sauv Blanc and there is no way that wine was what I ordered. The robot food server is annoying with a super squeaky voice. I'd suggest investing in less kitschy technology and putting out a better product. When we left and saw the awards on the wall, I just had to laugh and couldn't believe this place has been around so long. read more

Never in my life have I had an experience like I did today. I placed an order at Saigon landing using their website. I arrived at the time I was instructed to arrive via the text message from the resturant telling me it would be ready. The man who I presume is the owner began yelling at me that they didn't have any take-out orders rude and arrogantly. I walked out to my car to remove myself from the situation and pulled up my credit card statement on my phone showing the charge. I walked back in, to show him I had been charged and ask for a refund. He then screamed at me that I went out to place the order from my car and that I lied pointing out the time stamp on his receipt that said 12:51. I showed him the time stamp on my receipt which shows 12:21 was when I ordered it and the man continued yelling at me saying 12:51 and pointing at his receipt. He also refused to refund my purchase when I asked him to cancel because, obviously, they have an issue on their side with their online orders, and i don't have time to wait around for the food to be cooked. I'll take it up with my credit card company however I am astonished at the rudeness and arrogance of this man and this place. Never will I order from this place, eat here, or give them a dime of my money. That is not the way you treat people after you make a mistake. STAY AWAY this place is criminal read more

I have been going to this restaurant for many many years. My family loves takeout from Saigon Landing. We love the crispy pork rolls and the grilled basil muscles. Not sure of all of the bad reviews on Saigon Landing. Came here for dinner during the summer and got to sit on the patio. The menu is large and can be over whelming but I stuck to my favorites at other restaurants and they did not dissapoint. The chicken and shrimp lettuce wraps were amazing, such a nice light start to dinner. We then ordered the saigon bowl (yum, you can always tell if it's a good Vietnamese restaurant if the spring rolls are good, which they are amazing here), shrimp pad thai (flavors were sweet but with a little heat which was nice) and the veggie fried rice (not too salty but the right mixture of heat as well) were all amazing. I'm happy we got to take left overs home to enjoy some the next day! read more

At the recommendation of a friend, we drove down to Evergreen for dinner on a Sunday night. Saigon landing was every bit worth the drive and I'd do it again (frequently!) If you're a fan of Vietnamese food and/or Thai food, then you'll love this place. On a Sunday evening it was almost empty so service was fast and the restaurant was quiet. We ordered the stuffed chicken wings and crispy rolls (appetizers), and 4 lamb chops. This was plenty of food for 2 people and we still took leftovers home. On our way home from keystone one night we were starving and didn't want to cook. I found this place online and we gave it shot. We ordered take away and wow we were so impressed!! So many vegan options!! We ordered a ton of food because we were so hungry, everything was delicious. And not unreasonably priced considering we ordered three entrees and two appetizers for the two of us. We only had a few left overs and they were still great the next day. The staff were extremely efficient and kind. Everyone was covid safe and my order was ready even faster than expected. This place isn't a vegan restaurant so I'm sure everything else is super good. But if you're plant based or just try to limit your animal consumption to help the planet then seriously give this place a go and order vegan! In fact we're going back tonight. read more

We recently moved to Evergreen and found this place on a side of a hill in a very cool building. Unfortunately this was all it has going for it. We eat out several times a week and I can honestly say I have never had such rude service. Unfriendly is an understatement. We were not that hungry and spilt an entree... this obviously upset this server as he acted totally shocked. He held up 1 finger and repeated it twice... just one entree! We asked for chili sauce and he literally grabbed it from another table and slammed it down muttering "here". When the entree came it was slid across the table to us with no words. We should of walked out but we stayed... mistake. The shrimp dish was tasteless. To top it off, he charged us $3 for splitting. A wasted $16 but at least I saved on the tip.
