Hot and Sour soup. Purple Haze Saki and spicy edamame.

Definitely will NOT be back for the sushi rolls. They were disappointing and lacked fresh flavor. The waiter was not attentive at all--we had to flag him down multiple times. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself was very dark, almost uncomfortably so.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, nothing about the experience made me want to return. I honestly don't think I'll be coming back.

Ordered myself a little buffet. I live nearby and wanted to give it a try. I enjoyed my take out! Soup dumplings were delicious (I usually travel to Aurora for soup dumplings). The wonton soup was also delicious -- I'll be keeping this up my sleeve once it gets cold or when I am sick. Scallion pancake was tasty but didn't transport well for takeout. They weren't crisp by the time I got them home. I also enjoyed the chicken broccoli. Only complaint is that the rice portion is small, and I'd prefer a bigger portion for the entree given the cost. All in all -- Chopsticks will be my new go-to Chinese place in the neighborhood!

Favorite local spot for nigiri and soup. Their sushi rolls are ok, but the nigiri is where it's at. Fresh and beautifully cut. So far I've only had their wonton soup and miso, both are incredible. We've also tried their Pad Thai and Sesame Chicken and these just weren't their forte. Hopeful their other entrees are as delightful as their soup.

The food and service was excellent. We ordered the Kobe beef roll, the scallion pancakes, Hot sour soup and the happy mushrooms with beef added. All of it was excellent.

The food wasn't amazing, but the portions were very generous. I got the Black Pepper Udon(beef) but it was not hot. I should have said something but ate it anyways since I was starving. The people were very friendly and they brought out the food SO quickly! Such a quiet and cute little place since I was there at four and it was practically empty. U love Asian food and this one was probably the worst one food wise, but I would definitely go there for a second chance!

Good service, great food! We're new to the area and part of our exploration is trying new restaurants that aren't part of national chains. Good mix of Chinese dishes and sushi offerings. It all tasted freshly prepared.

Hot Chili Oil Beef is beautifully balanced between spicy Sichuan peppers and numbing peppercorns. Just so delicious!!!!

Use your creativity to come up with other ways to simply dress the edamame! See my pic on that to learn more. The assorted nigiri pieces came out prettier than most other sushi spots, they definitely brushed it to make it look pretty, and that's setting the bar higher where it should be! My roll was the Makizushico Special Roll and I was very pleased with it, however, it looks nothing like their picture online. I'd get it again next time.

I recommend planning ahead with a reservation, as they can get busy during a dinner rush. We were visiting Colorado for a quick weekend trip and were floored by the food here. While the rolls all sounded great, we opted for an omakase experience. It is priced at market value, so I imagine this could vary over time, but they had three tiers for omakase, which I thought were all fairly priced for the amount of food included. We opted for the highest tier, which was $120 pp, and it was incredibly filling with high quality cuts of fish and a thoughtfully curated menu. The sushi chef who took care of us was incredibly kind, and it was clear he put a lot of care into the food he prepared. If you're on the fence, hop off and make that reservation and come hungry for the omakase experience!

Uncle is a small, Asian fusion shrine that one should place on your must visit list. In the Northwest area of Denver, Uncle has limited seating and a show if you sit at the bar. Reservations are strongly suggested and well worth the wait. Crazy combinations, flavor bombs throughout and a culinary delight you won't regret. Tonight, we sat at the bar and watched the magic happen. These guys are cranking out amazing and delectable treats you won't forget. The Uncle salad was a great starter with charred cabbage, lemongrass, mint, cilantro, arugula, and peanuts lightly coated in a Thai coconut dressing. A slight burn only leaving you to crave just one more bite, ha! The fried soft shell crab in a bao bun with green papayo slaw, coconut mayo and cilantro nam prik was sweet, perfect crunch and memorable. Two for two with one dish left. The cold spicy sesame noodles with seasoned chicken, granny Smith apple slivers, arugula, cashews and nanami togorashi, a perfect closing dish for an exceptional meal. The service, food quality, flavors and preformance from the bar seats were second to none. The concept, portion size, flavor and cost were a real treat in the big city food scene of Denver. If you haven't been here yet, get to the internet and book a table, I promise you won't regret it. To the staff, chefs, and all members of Uncle, thank you for a surprising and incredibly great meal, we will return on our future trips to Denver.

From the second I walked in, service was impeccable, welcoming, and helpful. Staff went above and beyond to walk me to the restroom (as it was my first time dining here), out to my patio table, and quickly brought water. Everyone was dressed up for the occasion, chandeliers were lining the interior with a gorgeous and sophisticated look, and the music was a fun K-Pop/dance vibe. Our table of three started with the Buddha Button (essentially a lemon drop martini with Deep Eddy's and a special flower that invigorates your taste buds to create a literal "party in your mouth"). Anything cold adds to the buzzing, vibrating energy; pair the flower with a cold cocktail and it's a phenomenal experience! We also had a bottle of white wine - it was to be expected: tasty. We tried the crab rangoons and thought they were a fun snack, although $21 for four rangoons was tough. I could've gone to Panda Express and gotten four for $3.99 and called it a day. Christine and I both had the Miso Sea Bass - easily the crowd favorite. Even though it was light, it was very flavorful with the sauce, mushrooms, and rice included in the meal. It was mostly filling, though charging $64 for that as the main entree is quite a big stretch. The crowd winner was our server, Maddie. She had amazing recommendations, a full understanding of the menu, and was very attentive and personable. Overall, fun experience! The price for the quantity of food makes it a dubious chance of returning, but A+ for the staff!
