I'm going with a three this is solid, hot and fresh Chinese food and if you're in the neighborhood it's gonna be fine. The lunch special came with a bowl of soup. I selected the wonton soup and the wontons had not been cooked before being dumped into the soup and so they were the consistency of leather- sad. The sesame chicken was in an absolutely enormous portion with white rice and very freshly cooked and very good but I remembered that I am not the biggest fan of fried chicken and sauce a little too late. I was only given a tiny little Dairy Queen dispensary napkin, and I had to get up and go to another table to get a cloth napkin. My server did not know what the soup options were and I had to get out my reading classes to read the fine print and figure that out even when I just asked thinking she could help me out. Serious question: was I supposed to order the flavor separately? Because none of the food I ordered had any. Well, the broccoli beef tasted like soy sauce rather than a brown sauce. Such a lovely little restaurant! We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon, ordered the medium miso soup- it's huge! Was enough for 4 of us to share. We had the sesame chicken and Mongolian beef. The portions are great! 4 of us are very well, they gave us a mix of brown and white rice and didn't even charge extra for more. Also the hot tea was perfect for my sore throat and again, a big pot of tea that was enough to share. The best part is the service, the women who I assume is the owner is welcoming, both her and our very sweet attentive server took great care of us. Ordered myself a little buffet. I live nearby and wanted to give it a try. I enjoyed my take out! Soup dumplings were delicious (I usually travel to Aurora for soup dumplings). The wonton soup was also delicious -- I'll be keeping this up my sleeve once it gets cold or when I am sick. Scallion pancake was tasty but didn't transport well for takeout. They weren't crisp by the time I got them home. I also enjoyed the chicken broccoli. Only complaint is that the rice portion is small, and I'd prefer a bigger portion for the entree given the cost. I took my sons here on a whim and we discovered quickly how nice the staff treated us. And the food was authentic and delicious. The salt/pepper calamari reminded me of the salt/pepper entrees I had and loved as a kid. Best restaurant experience during my 5 day visit to Denver, Colorado. We stumbled upon it after zip lining. We called before we came in asking if they could accommodate a party of 8 and they pleasantly said yes please come in. The amazing service continued once we arrived by the server Ming. Ming made the whole experience amazing !!! He accommodated us with prompt refills, he kept coming by to check on us. Not only was the service amazing but the FOOD WAS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD !!!! It's ok in a pinch. The egg rolls were soggier than expected. I understand fried foods don't travel well. But I was very close by and they were pretty soggy inside and out. The taste was fine but the texture ruined it for me. The Mongolian Beef was just bland. For the price I am also very unhappy with the amount of beef I got. The ratio of veg to beef was easily 5 to 1. Lastly. They neither offered nor included any type of utensil for actually consuming the food. I guess I should have checked or asked.
