Some may look at my reviews and think, "Oh, this guy is generous. He just leaves a bunch of positive reviews." However, on the contrary, I'm a terribly viscous critic when it comes to the service I receive at an establishment. Just see my review on some restaurant in Rome, which I didn't even bother to remember the name of. The truth is one of three things. First, either the service is terrible and I destroy the place here on Yelp, or second, the service is not worth mentioning, which happens more often than not. This is why I forget my password between reviews and why they are few and far between. The third possibility is the service and the food is so memorable and commendable, I go through the inconvenience of resetting my Yelp password to tell the world, despite how much I'll regret the restaurant getting busier. First, the less than perfect. Parking is tight right in front. The side might be easier, but it's also limited in the number of spaces. Well worth it however, and I think your can park out in front outside the gate if necessary. It's also right under the path of private jets landing at the airport, so you will occasionally have to put up with the noise. The neutral, it's in a somewhat industrial area. That never bothered me, and it shouldn't bother a true foodie either. If you're looking for ambiance, choose to eat inside. It's beautiful, and the chef and staff are very friendly. As for the good, the service is fast. My wife and I arrived to a packed house, so we elected to sit outside. We thought we might have some time to look at the menu online, but the owner, Danny, was outside cleaning the table (only because it had been drizzling), handing us menus, and opening our umbrella faster than we could open their website. And we have 5G, so that's FAST. Jokes aside, I've only had two dishes so far, but both are amazing. Their Pho Dac Biet (Pho Special) is everything I loved about my old Pho place in New Jersey and then some. I would say the serving size is sufficient to satisfy any noodle lover, and plenty of broth for the soup sippers. Second was the roast duck Bahn Mi. I'm going to regret sharing this, because now I might never get to eat another one if I'm not early enough. Please, please food plebes, just stick to finishing the pork shu mai. My wife and I will eat all the duck. Thank you very much! Finally, their boba pearls are perfectly tender, easy to finish, and never get stuck in the straw. The matcha and jasmine teas are delicious, and not overbearing in their sweetness, subtle, as not to overwhelm your chosen flavor. I will definitely order from them again and again, especially in this cultural desert known as Naples. No more driving out of my way for good food! Woo! read more

Ate tonight at their Port of the Everglades location. They are open for dinner and was blown away by the food. We had the escargot, pork and duck steamed buns, foie gras tarchon, and lamb. It was all incredible. Everything was seasoned to perfection and cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend, we were staying at the hotel but would absolutely make the 45 minute drive to eat here. Great find. Tucked away in Naples this well appointed restaurant that offers both Vietnamese and casual French fare is worth a visit. We went for a late Sunday lunch; I had Croque Madame and my wife had the beef Pho. Pear tartlette to share and a Vietnamese coffee each. The young man serving us was excellent - efficient and friendly. We ahve been wanting to go the Saigon to Paris cafe for some while and will certainly be back. DISAPPOINTING We love Vietnamese food and were aware of the many fine reviews for this relatively new restaurant, so with anticipation we drove almost an hour from Fort Myers to try it out. It is located in an unlikely industrial area of Naples, but in a way, that's part of the appeal. Upon arrival, you feel like you've made a discovery. The interior is quite pleasing in appearance, but they squeeze far too many tables into the small space. Fine during non-pandemic times, but not when social distancing is necessary. We started with Vietnamese coffee, which was quite good - a strong drip coffee with plenty of condensed milk. Then we shared a Stuffed Pork Bun (Banh Bao) and Steamed Shrimp Dumplings (Shrimp Haucau). Both were okay, but nothing special and gave the impression that they were not fresh, but frozen. For our main brunch courses we had the Pho Special, which was decidedly substandard compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in SW Florida, and a Ham & Cheese Croissant, which was greasy. We also brought a Banh Mi sandwich home to eat later and some canelés, a French dessert we adore. We later found that the Banh Mi was not as good as other Vietnamese restaurants we know and the canelés were tasteless and spongy. It seems that not enough egg was used. Not good. This place has so much potential, but it just isn't living up to it and providing quality food from its extensive menu. Perhaps they should pare down the menu and concentrate on using fresh ingredients. A bummer: no employees wore masks. I asked our server if she was vaccinated and she said no, so I asked her if she would wear a mask when she came to our table. She refused, instead sending other unmasked servers to our table. Amy and her husband Danny are creating a high level mixture of French and Vietnamese cuisine. The Pho is some of the best we've ever had and we've had Pho all over the world including in Vietnam. Danny although born in Vietnam was sent to France by his French grandmother and interned with some of the best pastry chefs in the most exclusive 5-star restaurants in Paris. You can tell by just looking at his display case of scrumptious desserts and pastries. Was on vacation and we were craving some pho and this place popped up with only a few reviews but 5 stars nonetheless. Intrigued with the Vietnamese and french cuisine, we had to give it a try. When we arrived, it was like a hole in the wall location-wised, but a really pop modern environment inside. We ordered appetizers such as spring rolls, and egg rolls, and the bao bun, which were all appetizing. Main entrees we got pho, which came in a neat bowl with a lid/plate where the condiments which they could have provided more, but the broth was still flavorful enough that it wasn't a bother. I have probably reviewed this place already, but I have a couple of additions. First, it was impossible to reach them by phone when I wanted to place a takeout order. I had to go down there in person and sit and wait while they put the order together. Also their banh mi sandwiches are a little short on the meat fillings and need more ingredients generally to make them interesting. However, they have nailed the Vietnamese bread on the head. Now for the good stuff. On the French side, the quiche is excellent. On the Vietnamese side, their pho is the best I have had in Naples, and I have tried several. There is a spiciness to the broth that does not overwhelm the flavor that makes this pho worth the detour. And to get there it's quite a detour. This restaurant is tucked into an industrial area in North Naples. There are a few tables, but the ambience is great, and it would definitely be a nice place to eat. Their hours are eccentric, but I do recommend them. If someone has found a better pho, I'd love to hear about it. read more
