Way overpriced for what it is and what they give. The Pho broth is good. The vermicelli is good. They skimp on all the meat, though. It's pretty bad. We have been going to Saigon express for years up to two months ago new ownership took over quality of pho has gone down we ordered five of them and all of them had excessive grease floating on top nothing bad to say about the egg rolls we ordered they were great. We unanimously decided that this was the best broth we have ever had at a pho restaurant, and the bún (noodle bowl) with chicken is also delicious, and is somewhat different from other restaurants we've tried. Their pho is really good. The place is super small and cramped which is something that I don't like. They're not very welcoming either it's like coming into a strangers house. It's fairly easy to find though right on a strip mall. They do takeout and it's just as good as eating there. read more

Very tasty chicken broth served with the Tofu Pho. However, I was disappointed that the Tofu Pho did not come with any veggies at all! Chili sauce was super delicious. Well, this is where I was taken to try my first bowl of pho. It was fine. But the chicken was a little dry (maybe that's the way it was supposed it be idk) flank steak is my favorite. It was an alright first experience BUT, I will unfortunately not be returning because I found TWO HAIRS in my pho when I went by myself another time. It totally ruined my appetite and my want to come back. I went to Vina Pho and grill in boulder and that place is 10 times better tasting! Not to mention a lot bigger too. In Saigon it is sooo tiny and cramped and some tables are like, right next to eachother. So its kind of awkward because it feels like you're having dinner with people you've never met before because of how close they are to you. Not really my kind of place. read more

Definitely not on the top list of good pho. My friend ordered a $6 sandwich and it was a joke. we ordered carry out. BIG MISTAKE!! got to work and I had 1 slice of lime the size of a quarter and 1 slice of jalepeno, the herbs were wilty and the noddles were stuck together so bad that they didn't seperate in the very bland broth. I'm bummed there is only one place that offers pho in longmont. I will definitely be making special trips to go somewhere else. read more

I went here because of the great reviews. My family and I sat down and had 4 menus thrown on our table with no hello. We had a young waitress who seemed to not give a bleep about our experience or what we needed. She then came to our table and said rudely " Do you know what you want?" I ordered the Pho because it is so called "The best in Longmont" I asked if there was tripe and she said rudely "We don't have that here" Weird because last I checked that is a very popular item when eating Pho. The Pho had no flavor and I ended up adding a bunch of hoison and rooster sauce to add flavor. My husband ordered the fried rice and not only was it gross it was $9 for a small amount. As we sat and ate out waitress rudely spoke to her young male co worker about how he was doing a bad job and argued with him stating a women didn't get her take out when I saw him hand it to her. She continued to treat him like scum as we ate. She then went in the back and he came over very friendly to ask how we were and if we needed anything else. Very kind and very professional. We gave him the tip and told him we wanted him to have it and not the waitress. We won't go back and were appalled at the service we were given by this women. We would have looked past the food not being up to par but with the combination of bad service and food I will not recommend anyone go here. If you want the best Pho I recommend Pho 104 on 104th. Food is always good for fast Asian food. Today service was poor. Tables not bused. Once we got a table we still waited to order for 10 minutes. When I asked an wen standing near counter if we could order, she pointed at the waitress who was finally taking order for a six top. She then told me "we are busy" and gave me attitude about my displeasure....Nothing express about this place today! The kicker...the women I asked to take our order was the owner. We went for late lunch and we were not impressed. As soon as we sat down, a guy came by and asked what we wanted. I looked at the guy confused and he asked if we wanted menus. Yes, menus and water would be nice. We ordered an appetizer of egg rolls with the lettuce and they give you 2 less egg rolls! $8 for 4 egg rolls and few pieces of lettuce seem a bit over priced. We also had beef combo pho which had very little meat and the broth tasted more like hot water than beef broth. The plate of veggies also had 1 piece of lime and it looked like someone had already used it! So gross... we had one of the stir fried noodles which had few tiny pieces of chicken. Considering all 3 things cost just about $8 each, we were quite disappointed. To top it off we ran out of water during our meal and no one came by to refill. Been going here for years. I find an uncomfortable. And now take out has an additional 5% add-on. And it seemed skimpy compared to what you get if you stay in the restaurant. We love this place! Inexpensive, very fast service. High quality ingredients. It's very casual but if you're not feeling like a major "to do" it's a great place for great vietnamese. Try the wonton egg noodle bowl, flank steak pho, combination rice plate or combination rice noodle bowl. All great choices.
