For starters, my wife and I, we go to eat at this establishment, I would say 12 to 14 times a Year, each time we have eaten inside the dining area, always very clean always great service, and the food of course very good, prices decent. However, on 6-14-26 Sunday we decided we wanted to get some food there, they have outside patio seating and allow dogs, so we brought our dog, 1st time experience for us sitting outside there. It was not a good one! As I took our dog to the patio from the outside, my wife went inside letting them know that we are going to get a table outside. Here is where it all began!! 15 minutes waiting, no show, no water, no nothing. My wife had to go back in and remind them; now keep in mind they have full view of the outside patio through the big glass windows. She came back, another 10 minutes. Finally came out brought silverware, chopsticks, soup spoon, no napkins, no water. We had to request that the table be cleaned because it was horrible, to the point of the wipes that were used were white ended up completely black. Got that done still no waters. Again, she had to back in request waters and that we were ready to start our order, finally came out took our order, brought us our starters, no napkins, nothing, he literally walked by our table with a napkin dispenser and was taking it inside, until I had stopped him told we needed that. Got our soup ordered 1 bowl no hardware to put our soup in the bowls, again had to go in. We ate rather quickly, fed up at this point asked for to go boxes, never showed up had to go ask for them again, same time asking him to bring out our tab so we can close out. Brought our bill, we paid and left. Just so you know we did not tip a Pennie, that time, for good reason. The guy's name was Eric, and he is their working quite frequently. Completely, disappointed, we will for sure never eat outside again, because it was filthy, and that should have been cleaned and kept cleaned just like the inside. So, from that experience always seems like they go out of their way like all places at the beginning, then they all start getting too comfortable and forget what keeps them operating. And this speaks for all of Longmont restaurants, only a few keep good service and decent prices and clean establishments. read more

I have zero complaints about this Resturant! The music, the cleanliness, the attention to detail, and beyond all(and most importantly) the food! Although I had been here several years ago, I was recommended this place by my pho enthusiast cousin so I already knew it was going to be amazing! Bipesh was my mom's and I's server. He exemplified outstanding customer service and went above and beyond to make our experience a serious 10/10! He even gave us some knowledge on some of the house made items such as the exquisite pork dumplings. Every dish was prepared phenomenally, especially the rare steak pho. Stopped in after not visiting for a long while and this will be our last visit. Not sure what happened between that period of time but the quality just isn't there. Broth was good, the noodles were good but the actual 'topping' you choose is skimped. Looks like a decent amount of tofu, they were so thinly sliced. The other pho had one small piece of steak in it (it was a combo). We also ordered the cream cheese wontons, what you get it a wonton with the smallest amount possible of cream cheese. Nothing special and have found other restaurants that offer better fillings & topping portions. Also, I cannot respect a business that charges $.60 per item for takeout orders. What?? There were 6 of us and all are in agreement that we'll never go back. The service was terrible; the waiter was rude and impatient. I don't think he ever cracked a smile. We asked for separate checks and he looked at us like we were from Mars. The food came out one- dish - at - a - time over a period of about 10 minutes. My dish, a vermicelli bowl with chicken was unmemorable; the "garlic fish sauce" had no flavor. The chicken fried rice was so-so. The other 4 had noodle dishes that were good. I had the pork vermicelli bowl with an egg roll on top. Actually very good, and so much to eat that I didn't get to finish at all myself. The noodles were soft and the amount of meat was very plentiful. My dining partner had to assist in getting this meal eaten in full. The restaurant was clean and the wait staff were attentive and helpful in ordering. I think the pork had a really nice taste to it, although it might have been just slightly more salty than what I like, it didn't deter in the overall taste of the meal. Ever since the change in ownership everything has gone downhill. I did take out. Burnt eggrolls, my daughter said her pho was terrible. This place used to be so good. The worst part was fraud on my card within hours of using it to pay on their online site. I don't use this card often so it was really apparent it was from their online ordering. This little Longmont gem is a refreshing, high-quality Asian food option in Longmont. It is snuggled back in the Village at the Peaks shopping center (which includes Whole Foods). The front of the restaurant faces away from Hover, so it doesn't have the best visibility. I wandered in late on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted by plenty of staff and quickly helped. The cost was a bit surprising due to a surcharge to add vegetables to tofu. This seems unfair since this should cost far less than beef or other proteins. I understand a consistent system though. After checking other Yelp reviews I'm quite confused on how we had such a bad experience tonight. Upon arrival we walked in to a sign that says please wait to be seated in which there was about 10 others all waiting. Waited about 10 min to be EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED in which plenty of other customers walked in and left. The sad part is the food was amazing, would have nothing but great things to say, and wouldn't even mind the fact we had to wait because l understand what the restraint service can be like BUT not one single staff member said "Hey guys we'll be with your shortly". Once we got seated and got our meal l watched this happen to each guest that walked in with lines building up and people waiting on average 6-10 min just to be acknowledged and most of them not even getting a greeting but instead a yell across the restaurant to find a table. Day after Christmas and I was craving some Pho!!! After a movie date with my daughters at the Regal Theaters at Village of the Peaks (Pho Huong Viet is also located here), I talked them into giving me a Christmas gift of eating out with me and that I really wanted Pho. My sweet girls agreed and off we went! Village at the Peaks in one of our shopping centers in Longmont that is located off Hover Street. Pho Huong Viet is within other businesses, so you do need to park and walk to the restaurant. There is a very pleasant, grassed area with outdoor sitting and a fire pit! The restaurant was clean and tidy. We had a new young man as our waiter, and he really did a nice job! The 3 of us arrived just before 6 other tables came in! We beat the lunch rush :-) and didn't have to wait at all for our meal. For an appetizer we ordered 2 shrimp spring rolls (I may have eaten 1 and a half) and 6 chicken dumplings! All was delicious! My oldest and I had a small, rare beef pho and my youngest had the chicken and rice kids' meal. Our pho was perfect! I had it less than a handful of times and I can say, the PHO IS YUMMY! As far as Pho goes, it's okay. This place is one of pretty much only two places offering Vietnamese cuisine in Longmont, CO. Other places that claim to offer Vietnamese food are actually pan-Asian, and I generally tend to avoid those. What knocked this review down so many stars for me were a few things: - Their servers and waitstaff are disorganized. It took us a long time to be served our food, and it seemed like a few of them were just chatting. - As I mentioned above, the pho is just ok. The broth is fine, meat wasn't super tender, and the flavor overall just wasn't as good as I have had at other restaurants. - The Vietnamese coffee (Cafe Sua Da). They don't brew it the way you're supposed to with the Vietnamese coffee filter - they use concentrated mix and dilute it with either milk or water. How do I know this? Because when I was young, I used to do the same thing at home. Every other pho restaurant you go to, when you order this, they bring out a short cup filled with condensed, sweetened milk, and you watch the coffee drip from the filter before mixing it all together and pouring it into another glass filled with ice. Here, they brought out pre-made, pre-mixed coffee, and I could immediately tell from the taste which brand of concentrated mix they purchased. Yuck yuck yuck. If you don't mind a slight drive down south, there are some better options like Pho Cafe in Lafayette, or Pho Duy 6 and Pho 79 IV on 120th Ave in Broomfield. All of the best pho restaurants are in Denver. Recommend skipping Boulder and Longmont. read more

I thought I had to drive to Broomfield to get my fix, but Pho Huong Viet kills it! We tried the Pho, Bun (noodle bowl without broth), soup, and spring rolls. This place is A+. So grateful they are open for DINE IN as I'm not a big fan of pho take out containers. The staff was super together, wearing masks, washing their hands and tables often, and observing social distancing. So awesome on the COVID stuff. The beef pho broth was top notch. I chose the veggies and added tofu which were very fresh and colorful. My husband's rare steak was also delicious. They only offer Sirachj and Hoisen for condiments but the server was able to get me chili oil from the kitchen. Thanks for being open! Need to add an update to this review. We have been back a few times since our first visit and the pho never disappoints! However, I've noticed that the music (jazz style elevator music) is always the same and gets pretty annoying. This Pho restaurant is quickly becoming my favorite spot in Longmont. It's in a large strip mall so parking can be tough to find on weekend nights. I always do take out and there happens to be a 15 mins take out parking zone super close, just on the north side of the building. I've been here quit a few time since this opened. We've been waiting a while now for this place to open, and certainly excited to finally try it. We were supposed to see a lot of 1 star reviews. Most seem to be due to service issues. It's a brand new restaurant so of course it will take a little time to work out the kinks. Also, a lot of the 1 star reviews appear to be from people who only wrote one review total. They appear fake or something from a competitor, which is bad form. Our server, Frankie, was on top of it, professional and friendly. No complaints whatsoever. We ordered the #9 Pho and #20 Pho, along with some spring rolls. The Pho was yummy and just what we were hoping for. It came with plenty of fresh basil, lime, jalapeño slices and bean sprouts; something a lot of other places cheap out on. For a neighborhood Pho place - this is it. We'll be back for sure. read more

This being my first visit here, I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived with a party of 4 and we were greeted by 2 waiters and seated rather promptly. Echoing some of the other reviews majority of the tables were dirty from the last service and another waiter had to clean off our table which she did promptly. Being a big fan of Vietnamese egg rolls I ordered them as my appetizer and they were very delicious and made fresh as they were very hot and still a little bubbling from the oil which also remained outside of them and didn't leak inside. I ordered the rare steak and brisket adding filet mignon to my Pho. The food arrived fairly quickly from when we ordered and it was hot and prepared quickly. It was nice having a spindle of sauces and additions on the table to add in however we liked such as hoisin, sriracha, fish sauce, soy, etc. The broth itself was very good and light in flavor allowing the flavor of the meats and other additions (cilantro and lime) to shine through. I was very surprised by the freshness of the meat which did not taste old or cheap at all. It was really great. Learning from past experiences I only got a medium as they tend to be on the large side, and the portions of this were perfect as I expected. Overall the food around the table was great with everyone getting a different combination of Pho and then prices were fairly decent in my opinion compared to some other places. I was expecting about $15 for the size I got, but it was only $10 which was great. Got a nice full meal with appetizer and a drink for $20. I will be coming back for sure to try some other dishes in the future. read more
