Our favorite place in Naples. Sails is a five-star experience all around!! We officially moved to Naples in August 2022 and were gifted a dinner here. We were absolutely blown away that evening by the ambiance, food, and service. The second time we came for a sunset menu with friends who were visiting from out of town to celebrate their 40th birthdays and they were blown away (and us again!). The third time we came for their happy hour at the bar and it was such great service and it was nice to order a few ala carte items in a more casual vibe. Today we finally made it to their limitless brunch and it didn't disappoint! When they say limitless, they mean it! When it approached hour one we were already pretty full but they kept on coming back asking us what else we would like! The service here is unbeatable to anything we've had in Naples. We are never rushed and always feel cared for. The food here is so delicious, we've tried as many things as we could throughout our four experiences and everything was mouth-watering good. Sail me away! I absolutely love Sails Restaurant in downtown Naples!!! It's at the edge of 5th Avenue, just a couple blocks from the ocean, and their food seems as fresh as if they got it a couple blocks away. I love seafood in general, but Sails is more than just a seafood spot in my mind. Their steak is amazing too! When you go to Sails, come hungry and ready to try as much as you can. You won't go wrong. I love their king crab legs, can't go wrong with that. Everything on their seafood towers are amazing. Their slow roasted pork belly is salivation worthy. Their scallops are seared to perfection. Their marbled steaks are sooooo good! Bone in steak is good too. Their prawns are also great. And their dessert, the chocolate soufflé - is to die for! Dessert were average My big complaint was the service restaurant was not that busy. I love eating out at nice upscale restaurants and don't mind spending money on a great meal . . . However this place is ridiculous!! So overpriced for what you get. We ordered a Maine lobster tail and got little pieces of lobster chopped into pieces with cauliflower. We also ordered tiger prawn shrimp appetizer and got 3 tiny shrimp smaller than what I could buy at Publix. The drinks are $ 18.00 and just a tiny small shot. I realize that people in Naples love to over pay for things but this place is a joke. It's beautiful and the people are friendly but $ 350 for 2 people who left hungry is a non starter for me. He was a complete prick in front of my wife. Note. We bailed immediately after the first pass talking through first round options. I don't usually write reviews, but I had to share this with you, We just had a fabulous brunch at Sails. What a wonderful experience. It is like a holiday every Sunday. The energy and friendliness as we are enjoying a refreshment as we wait to enter the restaurant. I am sure tourist and others driving down 5th Ave are wondering what the heck is going on with all festivities in front of Sails as the doors open. Once seated the real fun begins, drinks, wine and selecting from all the wonderful items on the "unlimited menu". As a party of six we decided to share plates and tried almost everything on the menu. The Crab and Avocado was delicious, accompanied by the tender and moist Crisp Pork Belly. A plate of Oysters, Omelet, Crepes and Tuna Tartare. The Grand Winner is the FRENCH TOAST it is incomparable, light refreshing, fruit and syrup, almost souffle like. You have never had any French Toast this good. Of course, the fresh baked cinnamon rolls, croissants and focaccia kept us from going hungry. After a brief pause to sip on some wine and mimosas the avocado toast and pappardelle was brought to the table. The Pappardelle was superb, tender fresh made pasta with a tasty sauce. And the service was superb, anticipating our every wish and encouraging us to try some their favorite dishes. But they insisted that we had to order the Grand Marnier Souffle' for dessert, how can you say NO! It was fantastic, and especially with a side order of Sticky Toffee Pudding. I was pleasantly satiated. Well, I have heard the comments about the "overpriced" Sunday Brunch. Believe me, this experience with the number of dishes, drinks and the quality of the food and service made this Brunch a bargain. If you went to a standard restaurant and ordered ala carte, you would pay a lot more than Sails charges. If you want to turn an ordinary Sunday into a wonderful Holiday experience, go to Sails and celebrate Sunday Brunch! You will love it! SBS read more

So so good! Sticky Toffee pudding was pretty damn good too. If you want attentive staff Sails brings it. Hostesses pleasant, our waiter Phillip handsome and charmingly witty, the staff worked seamlessly providing outstanding service, GM was quite wonderful too. Simple elegant table (outside) was perfect. Inside wouldn't of been a good spot for us, fiddler/pianist/singer one man band kept ladies at the bar happy entertaining with songs reminiscent of the '90's. For my birthday, I chose to spend the evening at Sails Restaurant in downtown Naples. It is on the corner of 5th Ave and 3rd St. I love going to Sails especially for a celebration, it is always a treat. Not only do I have the opportunity to dress up and enjoy a top notch experience but I am treated like royalty every time. As you walk into Sails, the experience begins. The live instrumental music, chic décor and welcoming smiles set the tone for an inviting and relaxing experience. The wine list has the finest selection of old world and new world favorites. I can appreciate a nice glass of wine, served at the perfect temperature, yet that is not what I ordered this time. Instead, I went for "Passion De Mer" it is a martini served straight up. It is vodka based and has flavors of passion fruit, pineapple and lime. It's topped with a delectable mouse. It is hard to pick a favorite when it comes to their menu yet, I always find myself ordering the Wood- Grilled Octopus as an appetizer. The chard on it is just right and it is accompanied by a citrusy medley. We ordered off of the special tasting menu. I wanted to make sure I could experience as many of the dishes as possible. After all, it was my birthday. We enjoyed the slow cooked crispy pork belly, Hamachi Crudo, Lobster Ravioli, Linguini, Peppered Tuna Rossini, and the Wood-Grilled Dorade. We finished the meal with the Soufflé and two espressos. What a night! Highly recommended. 5 stars and well deserved. read more

Fantastic service. We had the Tasting Menu and was not disappointed. The Lobster Ravioli was scrumptious and Tuna was cooked to perfection. Chocolate Soufflé was yummy. A great food and cocktail experience, expensive but worth every scrumptious bite. We gave it 4 stars only because we are not fans of restaurants that charge 20% service tip as we prefer to decide what the tip should be and in this case we may have tipped more that what we were "required" to pay. read more

What a sensual experience!! We loved the beautiful interior, the seating, the ambience and the staff. Violinist Otto Avalos is a superb treat for the senses! He can play anything! So they are taking so much better care of telling you pricing, ingredients, and can most certainly cater to allergies and food choices.... I am gluten free and vegetarian at a seafood restaurant!!! They met all my needs and prepared gluten free bread and a beautiful array of roasted veggies and buttery purée of potatoes. HOWEVER, the roasted veggies were totally zucchini, and cooked through differently because all were different sizing . The purée was too liquified and had to eat with a spoon! Our guests did enjoy their fish, but said not memorable! To our rescue came Corinne, the owner, who apologized and promised some wonderful desserts gratis; they were spectacular, unique, one of a kind tasteful treats that could be shared. I sincerely hope they can continue to just tweak a few inconsistencies and modify their pricing a little... maybe do an early bird special, or a tasting menu! Worse dining experience in Naples ,why: we had a reservation at 815 for a large party which was made well in advance and waited 1.5 hours to be seated , ordered cocktails which took forever , tried to order a reasonable white wine and was shamed by the waiter because we didn't want to spend $150 for a Chardonnay. Then before getting our cocktail and focaccia bread the waiter kept bringing the fish specials and continuously trying to up sell us again, sone of our party ordered lobster ravioli then were again suggested to add another ravioli for $14 adder per ravioli simply ridiculous. The bathrooms were unkempt towels all over so despite the white glove service they need to get a bathroom attendant. As for the food overall actually not bad but not worth the price nor the feeling of being beat up by a used car salesman all night. Save your $150 per person cost and go elsewhere and have two dinners. oOr stick to the tasting menu at $95 probably a better choice. read more

I have eat here multiple times and now they increased their prices, they dont let you order more than one plate and if the other person stills eating they will not take an order, they will kick you out after the 2 hour grace period they give you. My wife and I shared the main entry (Yellow Tail Snapper) caught fresh, flayed and cooked perfectly with crunchy skin adding to each delicious bite. We also shared the mussels and roasted vegetables with a warm vinaigrette dressing. All I can say is the entire meal from start to finish was absolutely perfect. All cooked with love. Unfortunately, I did not meet the Chef, but I can say he/she is definitely a professional. I have to comment on the mussels: the broth was prepared with just right amount fennel, saffron, shaved garlic that produced a buttery flavor that made you want to forget ediqute and drink the bowl. What a fabulous dinner! We both had the tasting menu and every course was more delicious than the one before. The tuna tartare was outstanding as were the scallops and sticky toffee pudding. They were following all COVID guidelines and while we sat outside, we could not have been more comfortable. What an incredible Sunday brunch. Well worth the three plus hour round trip drive from Miami. For $69, you get unlimited wine, Prosecco, house made kombucha and unlimited gourmet delicacies. The service is so above and beyond that you almost feel like a celebrity there. They are friendly, worldly, knowledgeable and attentive. The food was artistic and delicious. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We were fortunate to dine here on a recent trip to Naples, and the food, service, and atmosphere left us with an experience we won't soon forget. The prices are the same as anywhere else for dinner in downtown Naples, but you'll get a meal that stands above the rest. We got a number of dishes and shared them. Both the beef tartare and salmon tartare were fantastic: slightly tangy but with garnishes that leave you with a sweet satisfaction. The beef tartare was topped with fried tendon puffs, amazing complement! We got two octopus dishes, the wood-grilled and the rigatoni. My partner has long claimed she doesn't like octopus, that it's too chewy and rubbery... she ate almost all of both of these dishes. I had never had octopus that is so soft and tender and I don't know how they cooked it like this, but they absolutely nailed it. The sauce for the rigatoni was also perfect: creamy with a tangy bite to it. The scallops were the texture of butter. Melt-in-your-mouth perfection. And the linguini in seafood broth is pure umami. It is a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere, and the guitarist in the back was a great touch. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention the service. Not a moment went by when we didn't feel attended to. Everyone was kind and responsive, from the hostess, to the multiple servers, to the manager who stopped by for a chat. Sails Restaurant gave us the quintessential fine dining experience. We loved it here (can you tell?), and I'm already looking forward to the next time we visit Naples and return to this gem. read more

My wife and I went to sails for our 20th wedding anniversary.....we are visiting from MA and the outdoor dining is limited there right now because it is still cold! The staff greeted us with "Happy Anniversary" when we arrived and had a great table waiting for us. We ordered off the tasting menu, almost too many great choices.
