[[HIGHLIGHT]]I also noticed an unpleasant odor while she was speaking, which made the experience even more uncomfortable like if she didn't brush her teeth for a month[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately, the experience became even more concerning when the owner, Julie, allegedly made racial remarks about people of other ethnic backgrounds. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable and made me feel very uncomfortable. I also have concerns about whether the individuals providing services at this salon are properly licensed. I was unable to verify their licensing, which raised additional concerns for me as a customer. To start off, I was looking for a new hair salon because I moved from the Joliet area to Wheaton. With my schedule it wasn't feasible to drive over an hour to Orland Park every time I wanted to get my hair done + the service at the salon was going downhill anyways. I am an avid fan of the Brazilian Blowout. I have been getting them religiously every 3 months for at least the past 4 years. I have very thick, course, naturally curly hair. The Brazilian Blowout is the only solution that helps me keep my sanity while having long hair. I found this salon from the Brazilian Blowout salon locator online. Late Night Hair is a gold salon - meaning that all of their stylists are certified in performing a Brazilian Blowout. I called to schedule an appointment after reading reviews on Yelp, and asked for the "original" Julie. Be warned - she has a large client base and is hard to get into. The receptionist was super helpful though, and after explaining my hair type and services needed she recommended Carolina W. Carolina W. is fantastic. She's been doing hair for 15 years. She really listened to what I wanted, asked follow up questions to clarify, and let me take an active role in picking my color. She did a great job on the blonde and red weave of partial highlights I wanted. She also took her time on my Brazilian Blowout and she helped me fix my terrible layers from a previous bad haircut. I feel like she really places you as her top priority while you're there. She always made sure I was comfortable or wasn't thirsty (our appointment time was about 10a-2p). I feel like the prices were reasonable. Also, the salon website has a great deal for new clients for a Brazilian Blowout. The first BB is $25 off and you receive a FULL SIZE bottle of shampoo and conditioner (!!). New clients can also get $10 off, and if you like them on Facebook you get a $5 gift card for your next appointment. I also got a free mocha frappicino while I was there. I have already received several compliments today on my hair color. I will definitely be back. Note: This salon prefers CASH TIPS. I didn't know that until I got there, but they're cool about it if you don't have cash on you. You can leave it on your card instead. read more

Had a Brazilian Blowout done by Caroline early in August. Chose this salon because it is supposedly "certified" to do Brazilian Blowouts. The process only took an hour and a half, which I thought was a little strange since it normally has taken a minimum of two and a half hours at another salon. I have followed all instructions, and only used the Brazilian sulfate free shampoo, conditioner, and bonding spray. Less than two months later my hair is back to being frizzy as it was before the Brazilian Blowout, and I'm out $225 plus tip. read more

Was recommended by a friend to try out one of the stylists about 18 months ago. My previous stylist was always over booked, impossible to get into and getting really expensive. My first visit was awesome - they were very friendly, helpful and knowledgable and the prices were very reasonable. I see the same stylist now every 6-8wks and never have had any issues with color, the cut, getting appointments or the price. Recently my stylist was out for a bit so I tried one of the other gals and she too, did a fantastic job. I truly recommend this place - never had better service, color or cuts and reasonable prices. I just had my third Brazilian Blowout done by Karolina at Late Night Hair in Roselle, IL. I love how beautiful my hair is after the treatments. I have had Brazilian Blowouts done at other salons and Karolina is one of the best. I have also been charged crazy high amounts at other salons for this treatment. Late Night Hair has very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend Karolina for Brazilian Blowout treatment and also for hair color! read more

I would not recommend this place at all. The highlights were good but, Hair cut and blow dry were rushed so they can fit in other clients. They are greedy and rude. My stylist kept taking cigarette breaks and working with other people instead of focusing on me. I would say what I wanted with my hair and she kept trying to change what I wanted. On the phone they said it would be a different price and then when I got rung up it was more money. I walked out with my hair wet and dye on my forehead. Awful experience. While I was getting my nails done about a month before my eek-30th HS Reunion, I asked some of the other women who were there if anyone knew a good stylist. Rose, a Real Estate agent, answered without hesitation..."Julie B. at Late Night Hair". I've been coming here for about a year and a half now. Julie B. is the owner and is fantastic! The rest of the people here are great, too! I ask Julie to "mow the top" when things start sprouting out of control or ask her to do something -"adventurous" (for me) with my hair. I like, what I consider- dimensional color look-darker underneath and lighter on top-but the Sun tends to make me blond. The prices are reasonable, the service great. read more

I've been going to Late Night Hair for 9 years now. My son first discovered it. He has very thin hair and the cut he got looked great. I started going there since my hair is very thin as well. I see Julie B (the owner). I've always had a great cut and great color from her. One of the things I always had a problem with was color fading too fast and not being consistent. Julie tried different products until we got the look I wanted. She does a cut and color and highights for me and I'm always very pleased. She did my hair for my daughter's wedding and it looked great. Since I started going there my daughter goes there, as does my husband. We all use Late Night Hair and I would highly recommend them. The other stylists there are very good as well. All the customers who I see there have great styles, cuts and color. read more
