Food was great and tasty. Chicken feet: was large feet. Don't know where they came from. This was my only disappointment. Tasty but not want I am use to. Taro puffs : was nice size and crispy. Bean curd roll: is little on the sweet side. Mochi puffs with pork: crunchy and just enough meat. Pork hash: Great as normal Soy sauce chow fun: Not you salty soy. Believe it's the Chinese soy. So it's not on the salty side. When you order 5 or more dishes. You get a free dish free. Service was fast and you are greeted as soon as you step in. Parking is in the main parking lot by McDonald's. The walls are whimsical with drawings and writings from customers. Pros: Nice size dishes. Tasty and some food comes hot and fresh. I guess if you're gonna order at the counter then sit down on the left side of the restaurant, you should know that's for dine in customers, not for anyone just stopping in to get lunch. But when you walk in, there's a counter and it seems natural to think you have to stand there to order then sit down Other than that, it's pretty good. The meat buns (Steamed Char Siu Bao - 3 per order) are quite yeasty in smell and flavor but they got Got anyway. This place is the real deal! Doing an update as I haven't been back for a while! Today 1/20/26, went to pickup early lunch. glad to see they were open at 9:30 am. The gal working the front was so nice, & welcoming, serving takeout & guest eating in. Ordered Beef chow fun, pork hash & Baked charsui buns. The buns weren't made yet & would take 25 mins. Cancelled that order. While waiting I noticed how efficient & friendly to all guest this staff member young lady was! Also, the gal working the kitchen was bringing out the newly made food, working together with the front gal to have everything run so smooth. What could improve? Today I watched as the front lady accepted cash for payment THEN she makes a pot of tea for those patrons eating in. What was shocking was that she used her BARE hands to grab tea leaves then placed it inside the teapot. BARE HANDS after she touched money. So gross! I've eaten dim sum my whole life and the dim sum here is legit. You wouldn't think that though by standing outside the door and looking in. It doesn't look like a traditional dim sum spot. They have seating on one side of the restaurant, but it's more of a take out place. The prices are kind of high, especially for a place that's geared toward takeout. I guess it's the going rate and you can't find dim sum anywhere else in Kaneohe. I got the red bean jin dui $6.00, shrimp dumpling $6.50 and black bean spareribs $6.50. The spare ribs and shrimp dumplings were outstanding. It was the best shrimp dumplings that I've had in a while. It was huge and stuffed with all shrimp. The wrapping was thin and transparent. Get the shrimp dumplings! The jin dui was just ok for me. It was still hot when I got them and they weren't deflated. However, something about the mochi tasted off. The mochi was rather thick and it had a soft crunch to it. I like mine super crispy. They also let you graffiti on the walls of their restaurant. Ok.... I see you Dim Sim station. You got a repeat customer. I had been craving manapua all day and was looking for the local style huge manapua kine place. I wasn't too jazzed about going to a "authentic dim sum" place but it was 5:20 pm after work on a Thursday and unsuited my manapua then go home. I'm so glad I stopped in here! I ordered: 2 orders of baked char Siu bao( the kine with a sweet crust) 1 order steamed bao 1 order Siu mau aka pork hash 1 order fried taro Fried rice Honey walnut shrimp. All of this came out to $65 and change. The cashier gave me a free order of steamed shrimp dumpling and while I was waiting for my food, she gave me the last baked bao!!! I ate that right then and there... it was delicious! The walnut shrimp and fried rice was a HUGE portion! The only thing that was meh... was the fried taro that could've used more salt and if you don't eat this type of dim sum fresh and hot, it will be soggy and yes it was. What a pleasant surprise to find a dim sum restaurant in Kaneohe! I thought it was a take out place but they serve fresh, made to order dim sum. Not sure if it was because we got there when the place was still empty, so all our orders were piping hot and made fresh, but it was so good to eat super hot. Service was good until it got busy, then little slower because there was only one lady working. She's great but it was hard work to cover the take out and restaurant side. I love that they keep the red vinegar and mustard on the table so you can eat all you want (without wasting). Size of the dim sum pieces were great! Not tiny pieces, which made the cost much more bearable. Cost is pricey. Dim sum is over $6, but guess that's the going rate now. Noodles are close to $20! The only sad thing was I ordered cake noodle but it came as crispy noodles, not the tight squares. So not sure if was ordered/Inputted incorrectly or they dont make the local cake noodles. Flavor good though. At first I was hesitant to try this place because this is an affiliate of Kapiolani Dim Sum restaurant, which i dont care for no matter how many times ive tried. Everything taste previously frozen, improperly thawed, and in some cases, stored thawed too long having spoiled. -- Steamed BBQ pork buns - Freezer burned bread. -- Shrimp dumplings - ammoniated shrimp. -- Siu mai - Stinking, spoiled crab eggs. -- Chicken feet - Week sauce and odd skin texture as if frozen hot, ice formed breaking cellular membranes then it was thawed during re-heat. -- Bean curd roll w/ pork - Oxidized garlic in the accompanying sauce that was so overpowering. The only decent item, the abalone sticky rice. Very flavorful with chicken, pork and lap cheong but no abalone. My mom's friend says this place is the best which is why I came here. I like that it's an order at the counter type of place which is much quicker than waiting for carts to come around. There are a handful of tables to eat inside but we took our order to eat at home. We ordered har gao, mochi puff with pork, char siu su, and seafood bean curd roll. My mom really liked the har gao, The shrimp was large and had a good shrimp flavor but I thought the shrimp was overcooked and the wrapper too thick. I liked the crust on the char siu su but I wish the filling was more flavorful and had a better texture. I was surprised that the seafood bean curd roll was deep fried. The taste was good but I'm used to them being steamed. The mochi puff with pork was ok. I wish it was crispier but maybe it's because we waited till we got home to eat it. It's so nice to get quality and freshly-made dim sum on the Windward side. The generally $6.50 per plate price is worth not having to drive to Chinatown. I have eaten at the location, which has a nice side seating area that is clean and well-maintained. I usually take-out my orders. A great deal is the $13.50 bentos that contains portions for one person. It comes with a canned drink of your choice. I haven't been able to finish the hearty portions in one sitting! Looking for a place to eat after an excursion in Byodo-In Temple, I Yelped Kaneohe Dim Sum Station. I was kinna surprised that this dim sum is not the traditional dim sum in carts and laid on your lazy susan table. But rather, it is a fast food type of dim sum. I commend them though as they sent dim sum to are table in a fairly quick manner, despite our 9 person party. Shumai and Har Gow were okay. Dad enjoyed his chicken feet. We had some entrees such as Honey Walnut Shrimp, Steamed Chicken and they were good. I also had my fave Deep Fried Shrimp Ball the the taste was off. Really good dim sum actually! You can sit down and order and they will bring out the order by tray and not like those carts. The interior reminds me of a fast eatery which I like especially with a little one. I can see how they can get packed. When I found out this was opening, I thought it was great because my parents live in Kaneohe and currently do not like traveling far. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, especially for the elderly, but I dropped off my parents in this loading zone, and parked. Friendly hello when I walked in. We looked over the menu, and one of the workers gave us some post-its and a pen. You order at the counter and they will keep your check open. We ordered the usual: bbq pork bao, shu mai, chive and chicken dumplings, har gao, beef chow funn, and custard tarts. Everything was decent. My parents are old school Chinese, and they weren't thrilled. They also thought the fried dumplings were greasy. We agreed that the custard tarts were really good! I thought everything tasted pretty good, and especially if you don't have to drive over the hill. But I'm not sold on it. It just seems so impersonal without those carts and eating off paper plates. Family mentioned that this place had opened up in Windward City Shopping Center and I won't turn down a chance to try new dim sum places. Staff was friendly and gave me a menu to order from. I decided to order to go since we had a lot to do that day. Picked out an order of steamed bao buns, har gow, and pork and seafood siu mai. They brought out my food quick. I didn't care for the bao buns cause it didn't have a lot of flavor and looked like it was mostly stuffed with fat rather than pork. This dim sum place is a little bit further of a drive for me but totally worth it. I heard from someone that it was good so I went over the Pali to check it out. Lots and lots of free parking is certainly a bonus for this eatery. It's not like your typical dim sum place with carts wheeling steamed or fried treasures....this one is order and pay at the counter then find a table to sit at. I was a little too anxious to try everything, so waiting on ten different items took awhile. Granted, I went during busy lunch time but that sure did work up my appetite. My $150 order to go, was carefully packaged in sturdy bags. They also included napkins, chopsticks, and a container full of hot mustard and soy sauce. Expensive dim sum? Maybe LOL Once home, my family enjoyed all ten items. We had shrimp look funn, steamed egg cream bun, pan fried shrimp with chives dumpling, house dumplings, and beef chow funn. All of those were tasty! Here's the top four items that we thoroughly enjoyed the most: * Shrimp dumplings were super big! Outer wrapping was perfectly steamed and wasn't falling apart. The best dim sum on windward side. Food is authentic and portions are larger than typical. Good quality and arrives quickly. Both take out and dine in are available. Servers are friendly and can take special orders: we always ask for choy sum with garlic, which is not on the menu and they make it for us. I personally prefer at the table or wagons because it's hard to gage what to order lol . So I order 2x of everything and we had a lot of leftovers. My sister came out winner they had leftovers for dinner . Everything was good tasting especially the deep fried shrimp the shrimp inside is huge. I also order their Walnut shrimp plate at $19.50 I thought that was expensive for just a little bit. Other than that the service at the counter was friendly and the dim sum came out very quickly and delivered to our tables . Only a few months old this is a fast food dim sum joint right across from MickyD's. No frills, no table service except for dropping off and cleaning tables. Drinks are in a cooler. You choose food items, select and pay. They deliver via a handwritten table number. Dim sum dumplings: Siu Mai, Har Gao, Feet's, etc...are preheated with a large window display steamer. Baked and fried products are displayed in another window: Wu Gok, Gin Dui, Spring rolls, etc... Tableware is compostable plates, chopsticks, napkins and bowls are in front of the window?! Many items were crossed out in a faded red marker. Lunch specials, Chow Mein, Roast duck Shoyu chicken, and lunch plates are available. Clean adjacent dining room was empty in the afternoon, but it was clean and bright. We really wanted a cold beer after a hot round of golf but weary of chop shops we ordered just a few key items. Lord have mercy! The Siu Mai with Seafood and Shrimp Har Gow were awesome, plump, moist and flavorful. Large shrimp, course pork, and fish egg garnished the top. Seasoned nicely we used a little red vinegar and hot mustard. Wu Gok was OK and could have been warmer since it's made with lard. Super surprised and happy to have experienced a good dim sum restaurant outside of town. The owner is the same person that owns the huge Chinese restaurant on Alakea street. So, this place has to be good. Everything at this restaurant is self service. No rolling carts. You order at the front, take a seat. Remember to gather your own paper plates and utensils. Food comes out very quickly. We ordered sticky rice, turnip cake, house special dumpling, green onion pancake, shrimp dumpling, shrimp noodle roll and more. Everything was good and fresh. Portions were generous. Servers were no nonsense and that's fine as tipping is done at front end with ordering. My favorite was the shrimp dumpling because it was loaded with cilantro, cucumbers and veggies. The pan fried green scallion bread was chewy, flavorful with so many yummy layers. The sticky rice though was a miss..too much water and mushy texture and I didn't like the large amount of seafood stuffed in the rice. The dried tofu roll was also a little underdone and probably could have been steamed longer. Turnip cake was also too doughy and texture too thick. I am 90% sure this is the same Dim Sum shop that used to be on Kapiolani, but just rebranded...and if it's not I am so sorry, but whatever/whoever this business is, is worth a visit. Considering I'm from central Oahu, I already can feel myself craving Dim Sum and begging my husband to drive me all the way over to Kaneohe just to get my fix hehehe. The sit down area is different from other spots; it's basically a to-go restaurant: you order your food at the register first and then if you "dine in" you get a number and pick a table. This makes the service fast and simple. Also, I got to view the inside of the shop one week early since I was too eager to visit and got to see it mid-construction so everything is new. The decorations are random, but what's a good Asian dim sum restaurant without Daiso decorations LOL. I am so bummed that on the only day my husband and I were in Kaneohe, we couldn't fill up because we had AYCE so we just snacked on #1, #7, #8, and #11. I was with some friends at the time, and we all drove over the Pali to check it out! The Soft Opening of Kaneohe Dim Sum Station was on Sunday, June 9th, 2024. There was free parking, a cheerful greeter (the owner), and lots of festive decorations! Located across from McDonald's and next to L&L Hawaiian BBQ, we found this Hot New Business easily because of all of the beautiful Congratulatory bouquets outside. We sat in the air conditioned dining area, and four plates of food were served to us. We traded with each other - ha gow (shrimp dumpling) for chow funn (fried wide noodles), and Jin dui (fried dessert mochi with sweet filling) for chive Pancake. Food is good. The siu mai is on the larger side, and since I went fairly early it was pretty empty and my food came fast. Was about $13/14 for two dishes after tax, making a nice light lunch. Utensils and plates are serve yourself for sitting in, as they place the steaming basket down directly. The fried dishes that aren't steamed are on a plate already. Things come out very hot, so it can take a moment or three for them to cool to biteable. But that's a plus. The beancurd was filled generously. Will certainly be back again. read more

You can now get quality dim sum on the Windward side! The owners of Kapiolani Seafood just opened this location in Windward city shopping center, and the word is quickly spreading. You won't find dim sum carts here, but you'll love the dim sum. They have over 60 menu times to choose from. The shrimp look fun is my absolute fave. I'll have to come back a few times to try everything that I'd like to. I've been here twice so far in one week - that should be telling you something! They do have tables if you'd like to enjoy your dim sum in the restaurant, and it looks like they will deliver it your table. Sunday, June 9, 2024. We were finishing up at the Island Soul Yelp Week event after I had a complimentary and fabulous menu item #1 deconstructed shaved ice (thanks StaciLei, Yelp, and Island Soul). Nadine C. said we could get free dim sum in Kaneohe. So off we went. It was Kaneohe Dim Sum Station's first day of operations, and several floral bouquets were sitting outside their store like beacons enticing the curious and unwary to enter. One of the apparent owners welcomed us in and said they were not taking orders today, but offered us plates of a sample of their wares. There were four of us, and each plate contained different things so it appeared that they were plating items as they finished preparing them. Overall, the dim sum was better than good. It was grrrree... really good. I liked the shrimp fritter (to the right of the steamed bao in the foreground plate). It was chewy in texture and had a portion of the shrimp bodies side by side in their ultimate coffin. I trade with Irene M. who is allergic to shrimp, so got to eat two pieces. Irene can join me where they serve shrimp anytime. I also liked the pork hash (thanks to Nadine C., I ate two also). Meaty and good texture as well. The savory jin dui (at the 3:00 position of the foreground plate) was also good. It had shrimp and mushrooms and had good flavor. I didn't eat the sweet bean jin dui since I traded it off to Irene. It's not my favorite anyway. I remember as a kid having to eat that for dessert and thinking "where's the ice cream?" It's grrrree... not that good. The flat pancake thing was ok. It was flaky and crispy but a little oily to me. Kaneohe Dim Sum Station is a grrree... pretty good place, and less formal than the Kapiolani Seafood and Honolulu Seafood restaurants. It appears you order at the counter and can eat in their small dining area. I don't know if they will have table service, but hey, it's Kaneohe. I guess I would eat there again if I were in crazy Kaneohe but I don't think I would drive out there for dim sum. If they opened up in urban Honolulu, that would really be grrrreeaatt!! read more

Some Dim Sum... Love my Sundays as this is the day I get to do whatever I want whether it's catching up on adulting (rarely happens) or checking out on a Yelp event with friends Nadine C and Peter Y along with our favorite sidekick Ben :-) cooling off when Nadine says "let's go for some free dim sum in Kaneohe!" As we all were stunned with that sudden option for the meal order reversal by ending our day with something savory you know I'm all in! Not quite open but just fresh from having their store blessed this soft opening is something for the staff as well to show what some of the items they have to offer is a fantastic idea to blast the community with a warm welcome. Located in the Windward City Shopping Center right across McDonald's so you know parking is easy and as I walked in was pleasantly surprised to see what a lovely place it was with lots of seating as this more of an express though what they have is a menu filled with a wide variety of options. I was the first to arrive and when I was given a plate of various dim sum I had my reservations as I asked if any of them had shrimp...it was a kitchen staff that had given it to me to where he just shook his head to then I asked the gentleman that seem like the manager and he said no as well...hmmm! My plate had five items...Pork Hash, Crispy Green Onion Cake, Taro Cake, Beef Chow Funn and some sort of Fishcake I think...!? Two items had shrimp in them and there was no one else in the shop at the time and it might be overwhelming freshly opening your doors this type of communication issue doesn't sit well with me at all but luckily had friends who does love shrimp and did a trade with Peter Y lol! Extremely delighted to have this newbie here though there isn't any restroom available and seems like quite the walk (unless you go to McDonald's) is something this shopping center needs a lot of work on but having this restaurant for the convenience is amazing. Newly opened Dim Sum restaurant. I wanted to try it for lunch while I was in the area. Inside is very clean, design and seating reminds me of how most newer boba restaurants look like. Order up front with the menu provided in front of the register. Cashier asks if you're dining in or taking out. Sit anywhere for dine in. You get a number for your table and they bring food out to you. Paper plates, straws and other utensils are provided to freely grab and use. Ordered shiu mai(seafood), they were out of baked bbq buns(my favorite) so instead got steamed bbq buns, pork dumpling, and spring rolls. Food was good, not bad except i'm not the biggest fan of their pork dumpling, thought it tasted a pretty bland. Also i've had bigger bbq buns at other areas, the steamed bbq buns were a little small. read more

Located in the Windward city shopping center next door to subway, I decided to check this place out after hearing many good things about the food. You order your food at the counter, find a table if you are eating there (about 10 tables) for dine in. Then your food gets delivered to your table. They have help yourself plate/utensil/water station in the restaurant. What I found a little disappointed Was some food came to our table a little warm, like warm, while a few came to us piping hot. The food lacked consistency with heat. Most food would taste better served hot. Maybe I'm wrong? For what we ordered, the dim sum, dumplings, char siu bao, spring roll (not hot), the prices were reasonable I thought. The shrimp dumplings were good! read more
