Went here around when they first opened up. It's a really neat and modern place with plenty of seating. Their menu is has a ridiculous amount of options but I quickly decided on the arroz con camarones and the fried cheese (forgot what they actually called it). The service was friendly but the food took over 40 minutes to come out. I was dining with two other people, but we were the only ones in the restaurant so that was a bit of a slip which is why I'm taking off a star but I really hope they've changed over time because the food was perfection and SO worth the wait. The food is heaven on earth. I've been a couple of times already. You go through the line and ask for what you want. The pile it up high on the plate. The rice is perfectly cooked and the meats I've tried are perfectly moist. If you're into overeating, then this is the place for you. If you like leftovers, even better. You have to order the maduros and tostones separately. Made to order and definitely worth the wait. The staff is eh but the food more than makes up for it. I'm Dominican, needless to say, this place has my mom, dad, husband and MY stamp of approval. Arroz con gandules, pernil and pollo guisado are on point! Basically, it's kind of "fonda style" or "Buffet Style" lots of meat options, very tasty. The establishment is very clean and the waitresses although they can't speak much english are nice and helpful. They also have a bar, that is surprisingly empty but they have all the yummy tropical drinks! The food here is really good and the customer service was great as well. My bf had the shrimp w/ rice and peas and I had the ribs w/ rice and peas. So yummy! Honestly speaking the rice alone was a meal but itself. It was so flavorful and the portion sizes are very generous. The ribs were seasoned so good and the meat was very tender. Absolutely Lazy and Unprofessional. The lazy delivery man refused to deliver to my apartment because he claimed it was too far when in fact I was only blocks away. We'd heard a lot about this place and finally went to check it out with a group of friends. Everyone who came with us really liked the place. We tried a variety of dishes and they were nearly all very good. The only real weak spot was the octopus salad which was kind of chewy. This is real deal Dominican cuisine. So many options to choose from. The pernil was so juicy and flavorful. Everything was sooo delicious. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I've been to Dominican Republic several times and this is the closest you will get to authentic without having to actually go to Dominican Republic.
