The food was so amazing!!! Plenty of seafood to go around. I enjoyed it very much. Everything was fresh and came out quickly. The service was good. I do have one complaint. I paid in cash as you get a discount. I was 3 dollars short of a 15 % tip for 128 dollars bill. The waitress comes over to me almost demanding more tip!!! I'm not going to say service was bad but I gave you nearly a 15 dollars bill tip and you complain? Tipping is optional in my mind. What a hidden gem! Had a craving for soup dumplings just prior to the storm. Stopped in and had a wonderful experience! The food is terrific! We did the all-you-can-eat and made use of the iPad ordering system. Portion sizes were excellent, all of the dishes were well prepared and delicious. We finally ran out of room and were offered to pay a fee per box to pack up what we didn't eat - great option as I would have hated to have had any of their food go to waste! We usually do the all you can eat special, but, recently we had a bit off of the main menu. They have Chinese, Japanese, and Thai...Make sure you come hungry, there is no wasting with the All you can eat special. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu here! The sushi is elegant and made fresh by their Sushi Chefs, so much flavor and a large selection for all to enjoy. Everything is made fresh and to order. The DIM SUM is all steamed, the apps are all so flavorful and are just as beautiful in presentation. We were told the duck sauce was made in house as well! The pork buns and and soup Dumplings were our favorites. The firecracker shrimp, pineapple fried rice, general tso chicken are just a few excellent dishes we tried. We recommend ordering a few items off the menu, and sharing as a group and don't forget your hot sake! Speaking of sake, they have a brand new bar off to the right when you first walk in. This is a friendly and delicious restaurant for family and friends to gather. My Mom lives in west Babylon and, whenever I come to visit from California, we always go here at least once. The sushi and sashimi are great. Most all you can eat places have bad sushi, but this place has A+ quality fish. The tempura is light and not oily. The speed that orders are delivered is phenomenal. We've been coming here for years and we're surprised to see a new name (KUMO) on the storefront when we pulled up. We went for the all you can eat menu. I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how great everything was. I dont know if the owners are the same, but the new additions to the menu were great. My favorite was the yuzu salmon. Absolutely fresh and delicious. There are still all the rolls that were always on the menu, but now some different and more choices. We will definitely be back. Recently stopped by, likely for the last time. My friend came up from Florida and loves AYCE sushi so I had to show him this spot. Well, the food was not up to par to say the least, one of my soup dumplings I'm sure were past expiry because of the taste, I spit it into my napkin. The rolls were just alright this time, but the real stinker of it all was the service. Just imagine this, you order ice cream and the waitress without hesitation just asks "are you paying card or cash?" while I understand the reason they ask, this just was not the time. So I said card, and the waitress went on her way and was about to pull our plates from us but we asked to keep them in case we ordered more. So our ice cream comes and the waitress again asks, with an obvious attitude at this point "are you paying card or cash?" while holding our ice cream hostage in her hands. I said, "I already said I'm paying with a card?" Well clearly she didn't like that as she plopped the ice cream on our table and beelined away. After the ice cream, we decide we're done and can't eat more... much to our waitress's dismay apparently. She made it a point to say "well I was going to take your plates before but you said you wanted to eat more" again, with attitude. Then she walks away and said some kind words about us in her own language to the other waitress. Well that was a mess, tip won't be great... but here's the KICKER! Tip is included, which allows them to act however they want without any risk of losing their living. Once again, I cannot emphasize enough that I will not be coming back to this place. Sake Asian is our go-to spot for sushi in the area! We love their AYCE deal, which for $29.99 a person is really worth it - especially if you're as big a fan of sashimi as I am! They give you an iPad to order from and a printed menu for reference. It's always fun to punch in your order and hear the beeps at the chef station once it goes through. The service is quick, so there's never too long of a wait. The staff is super friendly too! Our favorite things to order are the salmon sashimi, rockies shrimp, harumaki, eel dragon roll, Snow White roll, Black Queen roll, and Mango Hawaii roll. We've also tried the salt & pepper squid and really enjoyed that. There are a number of other things we'd love to try from their menu, but we wish there were an option to get just a half serving because when we're doing AYCE we tend to sample a bit of everything rather than getting a big portion of just one kitchen dish. Our one gripe with the place is that half the restaurant is dark and under a blue/purple light. It must be to add to the ambience/feel of the place, but we're personally not much fans of eating in the dark. Last time we went, the waiter was nice enough to seat us in a more lit area on request. Found this place by accident when I was hungry and wanted to order something on Grubhub. It was one of the top results and I was really hungry, so despite never having ordered food from them I decided to give them a try. I got the spicy maki combo for $16 which is such a good deal for sushi! And I also ordered a side of seaweed salad. It was hard to decide what to get, because they have such a large menu. After ordering from Grubhub for pickup, the app said the order would be ready from 15-25mins. The order was ready around 10mins, and we received a notification from Grubhub. We arrived at the restraunt to pick up the order, the staff were really friendly and kind, and the vibe inside is decorated like for a party with colored lights. Looks like a fun place to eat. When we got home and opened up the bag, the food was all packed really nicely. And first impression, their sushi looks GORGEOUS, like really really nice looking. It's super vibrant and very neatly made! The layer layer rice on the sushi was very thin, and the sushi was bursting with filling The! The spicy maki combo came with spicy tuna, spicy salmon, spicy kani, and spicy yellowtail. For the price of the amount of food you got, it was totally worth it. The taste was really good too. The good - sushi and sashimi are very good quality. That's pretty much where the good stops because we were never told that the all you can eat only includes 30 total pieces of sushi/Sashimi per person. This would normally not be too bad, however, the sashimi is cut super thin. This makes the pieces very tender, but also makes those 60 pieces go really quickly. We got 5 pieces of scallop sashimi. It was probably from one single scallop that was cut super thin. The other food was just ok. Soup dumplings were made from frozen, 'drunken noodles' did not have any flavor like the Thai dish, the bang bang shrimp was just fried butterfly shrimp. I just didn't like the fact that they only told us about the limit after we ordered and even though it's only $1, they should've told me that hot tea was not free. I've never been to a sushi place that didn't offer free tea. Will not be returning due to shady practices. read more

I also was disappointed because the box was supposed to come with shumai but I was given fried dumplings instead. They have a pretty extensive menu. Came here for the AYCE special which ranges about $33 for adults for dinner. 15% off if you pay in cash!! Pretty spacious, can seat from 2 to even a party of maybe 10. You order on their iPad which is pretty straight forward in navigating unless technology isn't much of your thing - the servers will teach you incase! I love how you can order straight from the iPad, cause once you order they're pretty quick to serve. Sushi was pretty good. Was it the best sushi in the universe? No, but pretty yummy overall. What I appreciated the most in seeing was their dim sum portion which sadly I didn't get to order anything from it since I was so full from the sushi!! I want to try it next time though cause they had cute steamed buns, sponge cakes and more - which I personally haven't seen in an AYCE sushi spot and I think that's awesome. My boyfriend and I have been to the Massapequa location a few times...decided to check this one out. It's just as delish! Something literally for everyone as the AYCE menu has everything on it. Soups, salads, appetizers, sushi appetizers, sashimi, hand rolls, special rolls, entrees, rice, noodles...so much! And everything is fresh. We started with their house salad. It's one of my favorites. It's kani and seaweed salad mixed together. The flavors compliment each other well. For appetizers we had shumai, fried dumplings and rock shrimp. All delicious! Rolls... Wasabi roll, black queens roll, naruto, and another one but I don't remember. We also ordered a few pieces of sashimi; Cajun salmon, Cajun tuna and white Cajun tuna. While it was good, we didn't get a Cajun taste. We also ordered sesame chicken. Everything was delish and fresh! I also like you order everything off of an iPad. It's like shopping. You add food to your shopping cart and check out as many times as you want. It's also nice that the waiters don't rush you here. You eat in peace and order as you go. Decent quality sushi for a AYCE place is always a win in my books. One fun reason for coming here is the electric music they play. They changed the way you order now, its through a tablet and you click and add what you want and it gets sent to the kitchen/sushi bar. The only issue I have with this is that they dont have the best pictures and they don't give a description of the specialty rolls. Avocado Bowl-Spicy tuna and spicy salmon inside, wrapped with avocado and topped with tobiko, scallion and coconut flakes. Spicy Kani Salad- Imitation crab, cucumbers with mayo Tuna Martini Chopped tuna with spicy kani, spicy mayo and cucumber on top. Overall one of my favorite AYCE places on Long Island for sushi. Not only is good but they also offer unlimited drinks at a price. The parking is never an issue since its within a strip mall. Would be coming back to this place more. Sake Asian has a good location with ample parking I'm the shopping center. I have eaten inside a few times but I'm leaving this review based on the delivery. My order had come in earlier than expected delivery time which is great. The app was really easy to use but I always felt that the items should have photos of the product. Most of the time I'm not sure I want to order a item because I can't visualize what it looks like. I had ordered the hibachi chicken box and teriyaki chicken box with side of teriyaki wings. I did not enjoy the fried crab stick that came with it. It was more breading than crab stick and after one bite I was done. It didn't even help dipping it inside there Spock Mayo sauce. I didn't get the Hibachi chicken I ordered instead was mixed vegetables so I was disappointed. I was told the chicken teriyaki was a bit dry and lacked flavor. The wings I had ordered were but had to much teriyaki sauce on them. It made the wings soggy. What I was surprised about was the portion size. It was much larger than some other locations I had ordered. I will try again but stick to perhaps their sushi plates next time or beef. read more

We wanted a dfferent dining experience from our usual fair. My better half has been craving sushi. So we took a chance and gave Sake Asion a try. We opted for the buffet rather than the dining menu. The staff was very patient with us as we were not ipad experience users. (We have android phones) We used the ipad to select our dishes. I discovered that I enjoy a fried oyster sushi roll! My usual is a California roll and not anything adventurous beyond that.
