Any 2 Rolls Lunch Special
Orena W.

The lunch special is such a good deal!!!!!! $11.50 for 2 rolls, soup & salad?!?!?!?!!??! I actually didn't know the lunch special came with soup & salad and I was pleasantly surprised. I got the spicy tuna roll & yellowtail roll. Both were very tasty. The yellowtail roll was coming a part a bit, I think the sheet they used was too small, it just needed to be a bit longer to fully seal the sushi roll. They garnished the yellowtail fish with finely minced green onions. The spicy tuna was mixed with crispy rice. Which is kind of interesting, because I think they usually use panko. The salad was very nice and refreshing the salad was super crispy with small amounts of carrots & tomatoes, and the carrot ginger dressing was nice. This is the perfect thing to eat when it's 100 degrees outside. It was healthy, quick and very affordable! I waited a bit for the soup to cool down before drinking it. There were little bits of tofu & seaweed. I also saw that they have free delivery with a minimum order of $15. I don't know if thus is accurate, but their menu says they're celebrating 13 years in business! I highly recommend!!!

Toro wrapped Uni

Kabuki Japanese Cuisine is true to the the name! They pump out deliciously unique and out of the ordinary sushi that is so lean and delicious it melts in your mouth. This small restaurant in the heart of Lindenhurst sticks out in the crowd because of how darn good it is. Went here with a large group of 9 people and we ordered and ordered and ordered. Everything was amazing and I mean amazing deff one of the best Sushi spots on Long Island. We spoke with the owner asked him about any off the menu good stuff and there were imported Waygu that he got in that day so we got that sliced and it was one of the best slices of meat I have ever had. We had yellow tail, oysters, Uni wrapped in toro and the list goes on and on with speciality rolls one thing better than the next. The service here was great and the waiter was really nice, I will say they can be slow but the food was so good it is worth the wait. In short: - Amazing sushi / sashimi - best of Long Island - Great for groups - Great for a date - nice staff and owner - I'll deff be back!

Pink Lady Roll ~ 12.14.21

Kabuki has become a new fan favorite for me being newer to this neighborhood. Today is #ThankYouThursday and I feel blessed that there is a great local business like Kabuki that serves up tasty, authentic, delicious Japenese bites no matter how big or small. The few times I have dined, I tried to pick a variety of different items so that I could truly get a feel of their menu. I haven't had a bad bite yet and still have a lot of the menu to try. So giving #Thanks to this local business that I know I can always rely on, and I believe the community would agree. Some TLo fan favorites are their Kani and Seaweed salads, Beef Negimaki, Vegetable Tempura & Sweet Potato Roll as appetizers. Then on the main entrée front I would highly suggest their Pink Lady Roll, Spicy Girl Roll and Lindenhurst Roll. There are so many more to try, along with sushi and noodle options and can't wait. Don't forget their special drinks and desserts like the Apple sake and the Lemoncello...so good can't wait for my next visit!

My first time dining here. Literally walking distance from my home. Food was average...nothing to rave about.

Enjoying an early dinner with my love

Everything here is fabulous! The chefs prepare everything fresh, and the owner is wonderful and takes good care of his customers

Izumi Sushi and Hibachi Steak House is a fun night out!…read more I was a plus one to my wife's Christmas party. The space is very large and we were able to have a gift exchange around the hibachi grill. I arrived early and sat at the bar for happy hour. I ordered a pint of beer on tap and waited for everyone to arrive. I'm looking around, this is a very large space. The bar can easily seat 20 patrons. Everyone starts to come in and we're shown to our hibachi area. The menu is substantial and there are lots of combination choices. Brah, steak and scallops all day long! There's one thing about me, I don't participate in hibachi shinanagans. Squirting Sake at me? Yeah.. I'm out. Don't throw shrimp at me, just cook! (I am a fun guy just not a participant) Now the fun begins, pyrotechnics! He makes an onion flame volcano, he cooks a mountain of fried rice and does an egg show on his spatula. The food? The steak is cooked to perfection and the scallops? Mmm mm! At the end of the night, everyone had a fun cocktail, good food and an overall good time. Thank you Izumi Sushi and Hibachi Steak House for a fun night out.

A bit surprised to walk in on Tuesday night to see the restaurant sparsely empty. Thinking and hoping maybe it was just because of freezing outdoor temperatures keeping folks home. Although highly recommending to venture out and allow the warmth of this cozy dining room of this location to wrap you warm inside and out. The service from all hostess, waitress, chefs in kitchen and at sushi bar super kind, patient and helpful, from start to finish of our wonderful meal. For the visit the Mr and I ordered tea to warm us back up right away. Ordered their Scallion pancake appetizer because it's always a solid choice just about anywhere you go, here included. They came out warm, crispy exterior with soft moist interior, accompanied by a sweet dumpling sauce. The kitchen chef was even so kind to bring us a complimentary small dish of edamame to munch on while we waited for him to whip up the Scallion Pancakes ~ Thanks! Then came the hot wonton soup that my Mr ordered and so nicely shared with me. Thankful he did as he knows his Mrs was eyeballing it contemplating if it was going to take me over the top. Let's just say the softest, silkyist, freshest flavored pork wontons we have had. Followed this up with Butterfly and CEO rolls that were absolutely fresh and delicious. Happy to highly recommend this location to all.

The seafood has always been super fresh and picture perfect, made to order every time. Jumping in on one of the all you can eat options is worth it, as it truly gives you an option to try familiar and new items that hopefully become a fan favorite. Cocktail and Drink menu is vast and super tasty whether you opt alcoholic beverages or non. Dessert menu is limited, but after eating all you can of the menu I suppose room in the tummy is limited. Could be nice though to have a few more small bite options outside of an ice cream cup. Purchasing a Groupon to discount your final bill is super easy, and easy to hit minimal required total after ordering an adult beverage or two. Opted to celebrate my NYE Birthday here this past year for my first try and came back again recently for Mother's Day Unisex restrooms are kept neat and there is at least (the first) one with a baby changing table. Parking is plenty but can be a little tight during peak dining hours. Highly recommend this location as it has and more than you could ever want in one seating.

There is some street parking up front but I rather park at the side because you'd have to parallel park right off of the main road in the front. You can either order to take out or eat in as there are a few tables. I'm assuming it was the owners that were taking our orders and they were extremely pleasant and friendly. Even though it was my first time there, I felt like I was treated like family! Being that it was a Saturday, there was a bit of a wait for our food (~15-20 minutes) and were told that they're busiest on the weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and it would be faster if we had placed the order via phone. Noted for next time! While we were waiting for our food, there was a CONSTANT stream of customers coming in so that's a good sign in my opinion. They have a large variety of food items to choose from and you can look at their paper menu by the cashier area. Hubby ordered an Eel Avocado roll and Chicken Teriyaki. I ordered Shrimp Teriyaki. Hubby loved his Chicken Teriyaki (came with a good amount of chicken) and Eel Avocado Roll. I tried the Eel Avocado roll and also agree it was delicious. My Shrimp Teriyaki (12 pieces) came with white rice and some vegetables but the shrimp was a bit on the dry side and could have used more sauce. I didn't realize it until later but we were given 4 small containers of what looked like the teriyaki sauce. In conclusion, even though my shrimp dish was a bit more dry, I'd definitely return to try another of their many food items and also because they're so hospitable!

My go-to dishes here are the Pepper Steak with Onions, General Tso's Chicken, and the Dragon / Phoenix which is half General Tso's Chicken and half jumbo (and I mean actual JUMBO) shrimp in sweet chili sauce. I have also had the Crispy Beijing Chicken as well, but as with anything crispy it is better if you eat it there rather than take it home. While I have had other dishes here, those are my main craves when I'm in the mood for an awesome Chinese dinner. Egg rolls are a bit smaller than the one's I grew up eating in Queens where they could almost pass for a fried burrito at some places, but very tasty nonetheless. Oh... and the wonton soup is decent. I always add a packet of the hot mustard sauce to it for a kick. They make a house-made iced sweet tea which is super sweet. Definitely NOT for diabetics. I've gotten it a few times and there is literally an inch of sugar at the bottom of the quart-sized soup container that it's served in. A bit too heavy and sweet to be refreshing, but something about it keeps me coming back for more. You will get to the bottom wishing you had ordered two. :-) Another thing I particularly like is that it's family run, which many of the walk-in Asian food places are. I guess I just admire the supermom who steers this ship. Every time I go and pick up food here, she is a multi-tasking force to be reckoned with... Taking orders, packing food, preparing sushi, ringing up, making sure the kids are doing homework or something else constructive.... And as busy as she is, she always has a warm smile on her face to greet you when you walk in. And here I am, I can't even make my own dinner after sitting at a computer all day. heh! :-)
