Food was great. Went for half off Sushi. Stuffed ourselves silly. Why only 3 stars? Service was horrible, especially since we were the only people on the dining room side. Can't even describe how much my family and I enjoy coming here... The sushi is always fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is very laid back and the owners/staff go above and beyond to please. Amazing.. Went on July 4th (already found great review on yelp) so I decided to try it out. The greeter, bar tender, overall restaurant manager was AMAZING I had her name and left the receipt but she's actually acknowledged me when I walked in. Very personable, etc. I went to the 'bar area' where I found mostly locals (I just moved to Milford so I'm learning).. People would leave, others come in. (I placed an order to go w/"luncheon prices" and sat had mai tai (very good). I loved observing and one couple came in and she knew immediately what they wanted (I even commented, wow, she even knows what you want) and the gentleman quickly acknowledge he was the FIRST $1.00 (interesting story)... Food was pretty good, plenty of food for luncheon to go. I will def go back. Def a fan! If you can make a decent mai tai, you're golden!! read more

Just left there. Had hibachi. Food and service was good. Unfortunately only one cook and one waiter so people after us had to wait a long time and one couple got up and left. Not as good as takumi or Tokyo steakhouse but better than mikata. Would go back but make sure it's early. read more

Went there to take advantage of a Coutopia discount. There was not much ambiance in this strip mall restaurant. We had a choice of sitting at the Hibachi bar or a booth. We were there for Sushi so went to the booths. Lots of people enjoying themselves at the Hibachi bar though. I ordered a beer and my friend a glass of wine. Not much of a selection for either. Fortunately they had Sam Adams... a good fallback. My friend and I ordered some Vegi Tempora, Spider Roll, and Spicy Tuna roll. The meal started with some sugar glazed fried wontons. We did not like the wontons at all but I can imagine some may. The tempora was pretty good. Light crispy. The spider roll was also well done. Nice pieces of soft shell crab. The Spicy Tuna roll was awful. Ground up tuna just gave it the completely wrong texture. I suspect if you ordered the right things here it would be fine food. Ambiance ... not so much. Go for the Hibachi bar I guess. If you want Sushi I recommend the Cherry Blossom for the MIlford Area. Nothing beats You You's in Nashua for Sushi in Southern NH though. read more

Hibachi is very good. As with most it comes down to the 'entertainment factor' of the chef. They are quite friendly and humorous. But the reason to go is the sushi and sashimi. Its half price during the week and they are always changing up the specials. I had an avocado based special a few weeks ago that was very unique and delicious!!! read more

Love sake house. Their sushi is actually good! Their chinese food is good and when you order they are super sweet on the phone vs. Others where you feel you are being rushed or yelled at. I have been going to this restaurant for years, it's delicious and the owners are so nice. They always remember my family and I when we go to have dinner. SUSHI lovers do not go here for sushi. This Sushi are tiny little rolls that are are not fully stuffed with real fish... it has fake fillers so that they can use less fish and you can taste it right off the bat. We haven't ordered anything else from here other than sushi 3 times and each time it was worse. Unfortunately there's not a lot of sushi places around us hence why we ordered a third time but that will definitely be the last time. It's a shame that so many sushi places do this now a days. Apparently you have to stick to the Boston area or go to takumi in Nashua. They are good. read more

I used to do my laundry a lot right next to this place so I'd go here for a bite to eat or to grab a beer. I was happy. I thought food, sushi and service was great. What turned me off about this place is their restroom. How can you run a a clean business that sells food with the most disgusting restroom? To me it's, dirty bathroom = a dirty kitchen. If you don't care about the cleanliness of your restrooms how can I trust you even care about the cleanliness of the kitchen supplies and food. You need to clean your bathroom EVERYDAY. It looked like something out of a horror movie. I'd much rather not wash my hand because the sink was that dirty. read more

Been here a few times. food is good. Service not so good. The wait staff not very attentive, I had to flag her down many times for more water , silverware. Not very friendly and also went there on Christmas eve.with a coupon they sent me in a mailer that was valid on the mailer and they would not honor it! They had a sign on the front window written in crayon or marker that said No coupons tonight. They made a mistake on the advertisement and tried to fix with a scribbled sign. Not very professional. We had a large party and spent a good amount of money. We argued but they wouldnt budge. Wouldnt even offer 1 free hibachi or anything. Very disappointed. Left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Checked this place out last night. I love hibachi! The chef was very good at what he does, had some funny moments and quite entertaining. The food was really good, could use a little more flavor. The downside of it was the waitress service was awful. Didn't take the order correctly, didn't care about it. When you order a drink, you better order another when she finally brings it to you because you will go thirsty. Waited 5 minutes for first, not great, but not the worst. Waited almost 15 minutes for my second drink. Either they need more help or they need to hire more professional servers. And its VERY COLD in there when the hibachi isn't on. May try again sometime, but if the service isn't better, my 3 stars will go to 1. Food and entertainment go a long way, but the service is what takes it to the end. We have been here at least three times now in various combinations. Family, few kids, all kids... We have only had great food and great service. The hibachi is wonderful for kids. The chefs are more fun than Mikata, and I've found the food to be better. I'm glad they're doing well and especially glad to have something new, different, and good so close. I created a Yelp account specifically so that I could provide a review of Sake House. Ordered food for delivery, took over an hour and a half to receive the order. It seemed like they were extremely busy (which is understandable being a Friday night and all) but if they are not able to keep up with the orders then they should inform their customers of the situation. Anyways, these things happen and I would have let bygones be bygones had the food been worth the wait. It was not. I would rate what I received as below average food that is found at $5 all you can eat buffets. The flavor and quality of ingredients was lacking and to top things off the rice had the taste and consistency of leftovers from the day prior. Overall, I was very disappointed with the experience and will not be trying this establishment again. read more

I love their General Tso's chicken. They also have amazing orange chicken and fried rice. I have never eaten at their hibachi tables, but you can see it from the booths and sushi bar! They look so cool. They have a lounge area and a restaurant area. The best part is the sushi. I wouldn't recommend the spicy tuna roll, but everything else is great. Monday-Wednesday are the best days to go because they don't have many costumers and it's half-priced sushi night! I go every Monday! read more

I love the Sake House! Never had a bad meal there. Gotta get half off sushi! The service is terrible if you go on half off sushi days for dine-in. They get busy, the servers disappear, and there's usually only 1 guy working back there. Made that mistake once. But what do you expect? They get slammed. The place looks great after the renovation and new name. The chicken & Broccoli really hit the spot. The drinks were good, even though I'm not supposed to have cocktails on lunch break I couldn't help myself. I really did not care for drinking from a glass with chips in it but the straw took care of that. They do need to work on the heating system its hot the cold hot then cold but otherwise it was a good lunch. If there was a 1/2 star I would have added it. read more

I took my boys for the lunch buffet. Its not a traditional buffet style but rather you order (up to 4 items the first time and then 2 items thereafter) off the menu and they bring it out to you. This takes more time but the food is cooked fresh vs. sitting out on a buffet. Overall, the food was very good and the buffet was priced good at $7.95. However, be careful as they charge $1.75 per soda. We each got a drink and refill and they charged us for six drinks. It would have been nice had they told us that upfront as I don't run into this at all any longer. I would have given 4 stars if not for the drink situation. read more

Took the kids there for a special dinner. Sat at the hibachi table. Drink orders were taken right away. It took 50 minutes for them to take our food order, meanwhile they kept bringing drinks to the kids without asking or being asked. It turns out that refills are not free. Drinks cost $20 for the night, for diet coke and Shirley Temples. After an hour the chef finally showed up, it was the host who went back and changed into a chef outfit. Food was decent but it cost us $83 for myself and two kids. Probably not going back. read more

I love that Milford has a hibachi grill. The sushi is wonderful and the prices are right. They DELIVER for lunch within a certain distance which is amazing on snowy days and for busy nearby working folks. Fresh fish and the Chinese food isn't heavy like it can often be. Friendly people. The atmosphere is a little bright, but it is a strip mall so that may not be a bad thing to show that it is overall a clean place. read more

First time we have ever left a restaurant without getting our meals. After an hour and a half and my sushi wasn't done we finally gave up. Granted it was Valentine's Day and they were slammed, but they were seriously understaffed, which is a total management fail on their behalf. Won't be going back. read more

I moved to Wilton about 2 years ago and haven't found a good place to get Chinese food. Everywhere else in the area has either made me feel sick or it was just plain not good so I was even hesitant to try this place out. I'm glad I did. Their fried rice is light and fresh and their crab rangoons are terrific and not too greasy like other places. I also tried out their spring rolls which were tasty as well. On top of it all, I could order it online and have it delivered. The staff is really friendly there because when I ordered it to get delivered, I guess I ordered it on a day where they do not do deliveries but since we didn't answer the phone when they tried to let us know, the guy from the phone delivered it to us because they didn't want us to be waiting. So now I know that they do not do delivery every day but I have to say that was really nice of them. I definitely give this place 4 stars and I'm excited to try out more dishes. read more
