I really like the Sak's outlet because it has deep discounts... on clothes you actually want. Beware the the stuff here is not "cheap" but there are some bargains to be had. Ferragamo shoes, 7 jeans, even brands like Armani and Dana Buchman for the professional set. Of course, a $700 jacket at 60% off is still like $280, so it depends how much you are willing to fork over. The shoes are my favorite section. read more

I mainly stop by here every once in a while to scope out their Free People section. They have an awesome selection and they update their clothes frequently. I'm a fan of their More (coupon card) since that usually takes off 30 to 40 percent on top of the already discounted merchandise. And the best part, it's free. Love! read more

I had a FABULOUS experiance here!! Not one but TWO sales girls were willing to help me find a hard size (23) in a designer jean...and a third was helping me decide which pairs to buy and look best! Everyone was very accomadating and spoke perfectly through their accent! The cashiers were as equally as helpful although I spent over $300 I wasn't harassed to open a charge card either! I prefer this location over Livermore and Gilroy because their store is much more organized, larger selection and friendly workers. If you love name brand items, definitely check out what they can offer & usually there's additional percentage off with the More card. I came here today browsing and there was 50% off additional red tag clearance and walked away with a Michael Kors tablet case for $45 with tax; & it's still being sold for a full price at MK, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus & other full price retailers. Vergie, Leonita & Mary are my favorite cashiers/sales associates! They're always so helpful when I'm making a purchase and making sure I receive the discount that applies. Sometimes making a return can be a pain in the butt since some cashiers treat it like it's a crime but as long as you got the receipt & tags attached, it shouldn't be a problem. This is my favorite store. I love it. They Sell my favorite brands and the prices are so affordable. It's a bit unorgamized in terms of shoes. They have really cool sunglasses. I'm not too crazy about sales associates because they are not very helpful. This girl totally walked away when I tried to ask her a question but it is an outlet store after all so you are getting a good deal with the exception of the customer service ofcourse. read more

This is the place to buy premium denim!! So what if they are last years styles. This place is better than last call, saks always has your size, you just have to dig!!! They have pretty good clearance deals but it takes forever to sort through them. The line to check out is always long, at least every time I go. Also make sure to sign up for the email, they send out coupons an make you aware of special sales and events. The store is nice especially for my husband's need. Though, when I came here to look for my son's tshirts, I asked the guy sales rep for kid's section. At 1st he cannot hear me but the way he said he cannot hear me was kinda rude. So I repeated my question, but he just stayed still just opened his mouth , gave me an instruction without even moving his hand to point where it was, or get his ass off the chair to escort me, instead he made me look stupid, so I was angry and told him how he got his job without customer service skills. read more

I have been shopping at Saks for years and spend a good amount online and in store but I'm absolutely fed up with this store. I went into the Gilroy location to return a dress(with tags on it) because it was DAMAGED and because I paid CASH and because I didn't have the receipt I wasn't able to return item or even get store credit! Why would I keep the receipt for over a month when I was planning on keeping the item? I didn't know when I went to put the item on from my closet there would be HOLES in the dress. I love this store! They always have really good deal and coupons! They are located at the Great Mall which is convenient! They have baby clothes now too! I had a lot of fun shopping at this location during thanksgiving and chistmas. It seemed like they had some of the best deals in the entire mall. This location has a lot of selection for men which works out for me great. They had t-shirts, jeans, vests, shoes, dress shirts, designer jeans at very decent price. Their women section is not that good though. We had brought some groupon for this place and my gf really had to struggle trying to find something casual here. Most of the items for women seem to target more formal and not casual wear. Like I said, for men they seem to have everything. read more

In recent years, the quality of their shoe selection has definitely declined. I would say the same of the clothing selection as well. It's difficult for me to find anything I really like here now and the prices are not that good. Most of the inventory would not be carried by the actual Saks Fifth Avenue store. I go here to find good deals and to find clothes that are unique and original. SInce they have limited quantities of each item, you won't see people wearing the same thing as you. came here today trying to land a score because of all the times ive ever went to any high fashion discounter outlet ive failed. whether its nordstrom rack, here, or nieman marcus outlet. all the premium denim they carried here did not appeal to my tastes, as well as the ed hardy/christian audigier, creative recreation footwear, affliction shirts, and designer sunglasses. if you're new to high fashion places like these are great places to start and build your high fashion wardrobe because they offer numerous brands and really really affordable prices. i saw a pair of studded henlee riccohets for only $200, when they went elsewhere for well over $300. one thing they do score on that i will definetly return for are the formal footwear, blazers and basics. high quality clothes at discounted prices. I come here, knowing that this is an OUTLET. Don't think that because you bought your shoes from here that you are now shopping at saks. This is off saks (or whatever). I drop by every once in a while to check out the escada and the akris that they have at a GREAT markdown (2188$ for a jacket that was 6100$!). So if you're a serious shopper, you might like to take a peek here. Don't get your hopes up. And don't forget to make fun of the guidos checking out the white-rimmed glasses on sale. I purchased 2 GROUPONs for $20 each value for $40. Today was the last day to use them, & I lucked out for they had a sale in progress, which you buy 1 item and you'll get 2 more lower price items for FREE. I was able to stock up on some cashmere sweaters. I was pretty happy with my purchased and looking forward to wearing them. Overall customer services were very helpful and patience, so I was a happy shopper. This place is a hit or miss. There are some days I come here and find absolutely nothing. But there are days where I find a couple pair of jeans for me or the bf. Their jean collection is greater than a lot of places in the area. I'd say the prices are still steep unless you have a coupon or the additional percentage off, which is the only time I shop here. It is in a mall so the flow of customers is insane on weekends. I can hardly push a stroller through the aisles since it is a little cramp. It's OK for men's stuff. You'll have to dig really hard to find stuff from the mainline store, but it does happen. I go here at least once a week to find something good, and I end up buying maybe three to four things a year. Most of their suits are the Saks house brand, or cheap brands like Calvin Klein, etc. but they do get some high-end suits and sportcoats from time to time. They stack discounts often. read more

Very bad customer service!! I try to return a pair of shoes which was bought 3 days ago. The register said no because she thought the shoes had been worn. They said the dirt on the shoes soles are not from their store. But actually the shoes are same condition as I bought!!! The shoes soles are not clean when I bought them. How ridiculous! read more

The store seems to be a total failure. First, their inventory has defects that requires a lot of time of me to find, which might be common in all the stores. Second, they are so picky on returning the defect item. No wonder, they are losing business to Last Call of NM. I simply don't understand why I wasted time picking up the defect item, and went back the next day but got a rejection on return. I went in a Saks off fifth today and had a horrible experience. The associate closed the gate earlier than 8 p.m., even tho they close at 8 p.m. I had to try on my pants in the middle of the store where the registers are because they told me that they could not allow me to try them on in the fitting room since they were closing in 5 minutes. I walked in the store grabbed exactly what I needed but, wanted to try it on. Since I was rejected a room, I tried it on in the middle of the store along with another gentleman which I observed was doing the exact same thing. That's where I got the idea. On the bright side I did have a speedy checkout however you shouldn't be closing the store earlier than what is posted on the website. read more

Had a horrible experience with the manager Van in the great mall Milpitas store. I bought a pair of shoe yesterday but did not notice. They were small defects. I noticed it today. First the manager told me yes she will exchange it then she tells me no it's not damaged enough for her to take it back. May not be damaged enough for her but I paid for a new shoe not a used one. All of the employees I've encountered have been mediocre. But there is one of the RUDEST employee there. I very nicely asked the employee if there was a manager I could speak to and she went on a rant. She then continues to lecture me that she was busy and she couldn't just get the manager if it wasn't important. I was in such shock and responded with, "I asked you very politely for a manager-" then she interrupts me and repeats her whole rant/lecture and continues to walk away! Tanita was very helpful in assisting me as I explained to her it was my first time visiting the store. She made my experience very pleasant. However, I couldn't help but notice the African American manager was eyeballing me while I was waiting for my wife with my kids. Later upon leaving the store my wife told me she was approached by the manager in a rude and rushed way. This made me upset especially considering the amount of money we spent in the store. I think she needs retraining in basic customer service skills. If I visit the store again Iwill make it a point to get her name and contact the district manager. You can find Rock & Republic & 7 Jeans, Marc Jacobs & LAMB handbags, Ed Hardy apparel, Betsey Johnson shoes, and on occasion Manolo Blahnik's & Jimmy Choo's! Yes, Manolo's & Choo's! The selection in really hit or miss when it comes to sizing. Yes, it'll take some time rummaging through racks and display shelves, but I think it's worth it. On top of the great discounted prices I've been able to score a lot of additional 30% off coupons and buy 1, get one 50% deals because I signed up for their online promotion emails. They have a wide selection of ladies designer jeans, but the men's is really lacking. I guess my bf's 32 inch waste size is pretty popular because it's rather difficult to find any nice True Religions or Rock & Republic's in his size. My honey loves his designer jeans, so I'd have to minus 1 star because of that. If you like to get all the NEW stuff, this isn't for you. I'm sure the stuff here is at least 1 season old. Terrible service. The line for paying is 12 customers long, and the cashier counter has 6 cashiers, at least. I waited and waited, but the line did not move for over 15 minutes. The cashiers saw the line, but evidently didn't care. They stood around waiting for one customer to exchange a tie. One ran somewhere to break a $100 bill, unsuccessfully. Another cashier was trying to sell some kind of membership to someone at the counter. When I complained about the long wait, the cashier said that it's Sunday (as if I didn't know the day) and that there's lots of people (as if I am blind). No apologies, no attempt to hurry. Not efficient and doesn't care about customer service. I will never buy there ever again. read more

Worst customer service ever. After lots of back and forth and the store they tell me I have to order online. I order a suit online for an important function two weeks later. The suit 8 days later and has the jacket labeled wrong (right tag, wrong size). This is three days to the event. I call and they make me buy another suit that the promise to overnight and today I'm tracking and it's on UPS ground due to arrive 5 days after my event!!! I call again and the rep is rude and unapologetic. Says the order was placed through a store and they cannot force them. As if it is someone else's store!!! And that I didn't pay for my overnight (the first rep offered it as they made the first mistake). And when I ask to talk to a manager, I am told its 30min wait and then she hangs up. Unbelievable. They should be out of business. read more
